*Forward dated to 3/26Hyperborea was out on patrol when she felt the dark aura of a general nearby. She quickly changed course, a general out and about rarely meant good things and if they were looking to hurt someone Hyperborea was determined to stop them in there tracks.
After jumping from rooftop to rooftop for a bit she soon found the source of the aura and it gave her pause, it was a general she hated more than any other. "Painite." She said in venous voice under her breath.
She was about to jump down and engage the General when her more rational side kicked in, even if they were now a match in terms of strength and speed Painite had experience she simply lacked. She decided to call Camelot to get his assistance.
"Camelot, are you free. I really need your help right now, I've found Painite." She said waiting for the other's confirmation. Once she knew that the Royal Knight was on his way she turned her attention back to the General and noticed something that horrified her.
There was a civilian at Painite's mercy, or rather lack-there-of. She couldn't wait for Camelot, that innocent and defenseless man would be slaughter by the vile woman if she didn't step in. It was her duty.
So She stood up and took hold of the helm of her dress tearing a long rip in it so that she could move without tripping on it. She then lept down and summoned her staff, her other hand resting on the gilded white war horn she had hanging from her shoulder. She had a plan to at least get the man away from painite, though it was something she hadn't tried so she wasn't sure it would work.
"Painite step away from that man now!" She demanded pointing her staff at the woman.

Painite was standing over a man that was slumped against the wall. She did not have her spear in hand, which was a good sign, but she was holding a large, shiny orb of freshly drained energy. She seemed very interested in the man that was now fighting for his consciousness, but whatever they had been talking about or doing before she drained him was a mystery.
She felt the aura of a White Moon do-gooder and sighed. They always showed up when the fun was really kicking into gear, and she would have to deal with that before she could continue her games with the sharp dressed civilian.
The voice was all too familiar and she laughed, turning to look side long at Hype, shaking her head slowly and clicking her tongue behind her teeth.
"Well look at you. Lived long enough to grow up, hm? But it seems you're done with all that now, and that's why you're interrupting me? I can't think of any other reason why you'd think getting my attention was a good idea, other than wanting to die."
She turned to face the knight, looking her over and calling her spear to her hand. She stored the energy safely away, grinning wickedly at Hype. A good enemy, a good rival, was something she treasured. It was always fun to get into a real, vicious fight. So long, of course, as she could walk away at the end of it. She fully intended to do that this time.

"What can I say, I can't afford to die so long as there are crétins like you in the world. As for getting your attention, I won't be the one who dies you vicious old salope." She spat back before making her move.
She moved quick she wouldn't give Painite the chance to get the drop on her. As she moved she dispelled both her staff and her war horn, it seemed that she had captured the general's attention and she couldn't afford to waste magic if the civilian wasn't in immediate danger.
She dodged the spear point and grabbed a hold of the shaft throwing it past her in an attempt to throw Painite off balance, even if only for a second. A second was all she needed as she slammed her shoulder into Painite's gut with as much force as her Knight strength would allow, tackling the woman to the ground. She delivered a swift and hard punch to the general's face.

Painite winced. Did that little brat just call her old? That was incredibly rude! How dare she be so mean, when all Painite was doing was terrorizing people and wasting innocent lives? Some people had no manners.
The Negaverse General might have been experienced, but was certainly not old yet! In fact, her years of 'service' to her 'cause' just made her dangerous. She was at the height of her game, and not hindered by it just yet.
She liked to think, anyway.
For example, she knew what happened when her enemies tried to grab her spear. She absolutely hated it, and her immediate response was to let go of the spear entirely and banish it, only to recall it to her hand when she needed it.
Still, it wasn't fast enough to keep from getting shouldered in the gut, and she lost all the wind her lungs had been storing up until that point. Gasping, she stumbled backwards and then fell, but she called her spear to her hand to try and stab at her from the side, though the close range cut off how much force she could put into the motion, and she was holding the spear near the head of the weapon to use it more like an inconveniently long shank.

The wince didn't go unnoticed by Hyperborea. So she doesn't like being called old. She thought with a grin. However that momentary laps of concentration caused her to stabbed by the spear that Painite had recalled. Luckily since she wasn't able to put much force behind the stab and Hyperborea had her armor to absorb some of the force, it was a shallow cut though it did make Hyperborea grimace for a second.
She quickly hid it though touching her ring to activate her aspect. As she was enveloped by the silver starlight sheen she moved in close, knowing that she would have the advantage as long as she kept the battle in close combat.
"So hag you like to hurt people, how about you experience some pain!" She growled emphasizing the hag part.
She grabbed hold of Painite's shirt and reeled her head back before slamming it into Painite's face. The impact sent her stumbling back dazed from the hit, though she hoped Painite got in much worse.

Painite frowned at her new little target, deciding that this one deserved a long and painful death. Something fun, and particularly horrible. Surely a fitting idea would come to her sooner rather than later. For now, all Painite wanted to do was cause her some, well.
Pain.
The namesake was apt, and the Negaverse General lived up to the moniker.
"My dear, I don't think you know the meaning of the word p-"
Her taunt was cut off in mid-villainous declaration when the knight head butted her right in the face. It caused her nose to bleed almost immediately, her own head snapping back and lights flashing in front of her eyes for a moment as she stumbled backwards a couple of steps.
Ouch.
"I'll make you regret that, you miserable little brat!" Painite hissed, teleporting behind Hype to take a slash at her with her wicked spear.

Hyperborea wore a viscous little smirk when she saw the blood dripping from Painite's nose. It felt good to take the psychopath down a peg or two even if it was only temporary, very temporary as she found out.
The woman vanished and Hyperborea immediately tried to figure out where she was going to show up, the answer was behind her. Before Hyperborea could react she had been sliced across her back by the spear, it had cut right through her cloak and armor and left a gash across her back.
She stumbled forward her hands going towards the sudden pain in her back. She wanted to stop there, to nurse her wound but that wasn't an option. So with blood flowing down her back she would have to fight on.
She pivoted on her heels and turned into a roundhouse kick intent on driving her armored shin into the wicked general.

Painite grunted when she was kicked, falling sideways and skidding on her leg. She felt her ankle twisting in an unfriendly way from the awkward hit, and the armor added a painful boost to its effectiveness. Pulling back, she teleported and reappeared a few feet to the other side, to give herself some distance and in an effort to gain back the upper hand.
"I think the world has one too many knights," Painite snarled viciously, clearly upset by having taken damage but actually getting quite a thrill out of fighting. Or rather, brawling.
"Guess which one I'm going to have the pleasure of destroying? When I'm done with you, no one will even be able to find all the pieces. I'll scatter you all over the city, bit by bit!"
She yelled as she charged forward, aiming to make good on her threats by focusing her next attack on one limb, deciding first to try and sever the knight's right arm. Hack her to bits, and let her suffer until she was bled dry.
That sounded like a good plan.

"That's funny I was just thinking that there's one too many generals in the world." She retorted, it wasn't the best response but she didn't have much time to think of something witty.
As the general charged her she thought of a desperate plan, her back injury meant that maneuvering was going to be a challenge so she would take the general on head first. She summon her staff and right as the older woman neared her held it high in the air with her left hand intent to bring the full force of it crashing down on Painite's skull.
Painite's spear pierced her right shoulder, easily cutting through the exposed flesh and into the muscle and bones beneath. hyperborea felt a searing pain that made her world go white for a second, it felt like her shoulder was on fire as blood poured forth from the wound. Still the momentum of her swing continued and the crystal wings of her staff fell right towards the general's head.

General Painite assumed that knights of any kind did not have what it took to be real killers. Not like she did: she was one who delighted in causing as much agony and misery as she could before snuffing out the light in someone's eyes. For this particular prey, though, she was debating if she just wanted to end her miserable life cruelly and quickly, or incapacitate her like the previous plan was.
The most Hype spoke, the less Painite wanted to listen. The easiest way to avoid that was to make it so she just could not speak any more.
Teleporting away from the Knight's wild swing, grinning as she saw the fresh blood spilling from Hype's shoulder, Painite reappeared just behind her and took a swipe for her leg, aiming to at least knock her down and get in for the final kill.
"Game over, sunshine!"
The irritatingly familiar aura exploded onto the scene in a sudden instant, causing Painite to stop mid attack. She looked behind her, staring in surprise at the Royal Knight that stood there. He had not been powered up, and managed to get to the fight without her noticing. Likely, she had not been paying enough attention to feel him on his patrol. She did not realize that Hype had summoned him there with a message, and he knew where to go to find them and sneak up on them.
He'd only just gotten there, and was worried he was too late. He saw a lot of blood, from both sides, but his focus had to remain on Painite for now.
She stared at him, snarling, hating him with every ounce of malice her body could produce. But she was no match for him, and teleported away without another word. She doubted she needed to say anything for her threat to be clear: she was not going to let this end so easily. Her hunt was on, now.
Camelot hurried forward, kneeling by Hype.
"Are you alright?" He asked, voice soft, though his brain was screaming at him to tell her off for engaging painite in a fight when he had warned her not to do that. It was the worried anger of a parent who was just glad their child, blood or not, was not actually killed.

Hyperborea watched as her staff missed its mark, one of the crystal wings shattering on the ground. The general appeared behind her knocking her to the ground with a swipe to the back of her leg, shards of crystal cut into her flesh through her thin dress.
She braced herself ready for the pain to come, yet it never came. Instead her sense were filled as the wonderful aura of Camelot as the Royal Knight suddenly appeared.
It didn't take long for Painite to make a hasty retreat and Camelot was at her side. "I've....been better. But I'm alive...thanks to you. Merci Camelot truly!" She said as she struggled to her feet. She tried to move her right arm as blood poured down it, she found that she could barely move it, that was not good. Nor was the pain she felt when she tried, she let out a meep of pain. The adrenaline from the fight had left her and all she felt now was the pain of her wounds.
"Is...Is the civilian alright?" She asked in a pained voice, she wasn't sure what had happened to the man after the fight started.

"I'll take care of them, but first, we have to take care of you," he said gently, as she asked after the civilian. She was injured, and Camelot hated to see it. He felt guilty for not being there sooner.
For not stopping Painite. Again.
His rivalry with that General would have to be put on the back burner for now, though, as he had a more pressing concern in front of him. He carefully moved to help her, ripping the soft fabric of his cape and using that to staunch the bleeding of her injury. He held a firm hand to the wound, though it would hurt to do so. They had to get the bleeding to stop, though.
"I'm sorry," he said, for many different reasons. He hugged her to him in an effort to support her. "Where can I take you? The hospital?" He knew she could go to her wonder to heal, as well, if she wanted to, but they would have to get the wound treated and under control first. The hospital still seemed like the best choice at the moment.

"Al...Alright." She said knowing she was not in a position to be arguing right now.
She winced when Camelot applied pressure to her wound but she didn't complain. She knew he was trying to stop the bleeding and that was more important than a bit of pain and discomfort.
"No I'm sorry, I wasn't strong enough to stop her." She said in a labored voice. She was confused why Camelot was apologizing, he had saved her life it had been her own fault that she was injured.
"Oui, I hate to admit it but a hospital seems best." She really hated going to the hospital, it meant alot of unanswerable question and more than likely a call to her grandparents. But the lack of movement in her arm really worried her and she wasn't sure her wonder would heal it right if she didn't also see a professional.
