Lawrence came to in a state of disorientation, uncertain where he was or what had even happened to him. He did not panic but instead blinked a few times, took in his surroundings and decided that it was the infirmary. It took him a few more moments to realise why he was there and why he really didn't want to be. He felt nauseous and though it had to have only been a few minutes, felt groggy and strange, as if he had far far overslept.
One thing he knew was that he did not want to be there, especially not in the perceptive and direct care of the moon hunter. He shivered miserably, even indoors and vehemently wanted to get back to the peace and quiet of his room.
"Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?" he said grimly, sitting up and letting out a sigh of irritation as the pain in his back made itself once again known to him.

"You did," Harrison acknowledged, "but if I had your frosty a** would have been still out in the snow." There was a hospital cup of orange juice and a power bar on the table beside Lawr. "Have something to drink. When's the last time you had your blood checked?"
Harrison cleaned his hands and snapped on a pair of gloves.

Lawrence took one glance at the orange juice and the bar and immediately looked away from them both, flat refusing to waste time and calories on something someone else foist upon him. "I'd rather have water." he said haughtily.
"My blood is fine I had it checked last week." he lied, shaking his head again. "Can I just leave? I have things I need to do today."

"You don't need water, you need sugar," Harrison said. I checked your chart for Lab values and I didn't see any recently. "Go on and have a sip, it'll get rid of the light headed feeling. ...Shirt off, please," Harrison said, the please as dressed up and pretty as possible.

"I didn't say you could look at my chart." Lawr snapped irritably, not too keen for anything on his history to be any sort of public knowledge. He neatly evaded the question of sugar by in his usual fashion, not addressing it at all.
"I am NOT taking my shirt off." he said, intentionally sounding as scandalised as he could manage.

"Suit yourself," Harrison said, pushing the top of Lawr's shirt to the side. "I just can't promise the health and safety of your stupid fancy outfit." He pinched the skin at the top of Lawr's clavicle, and made a concerned face as the skin didn't snap right back into place. "You're dehydrated," He announced, picking up Lawr's hand to examine that too.

There was definitely something of the disgruntled feline in the way Lawrence responded to being manhandled and looked at, if he had a tail it would have been lashing in absolute displeasure at the situation he found himself in. His clavicle itself looked like it would have been possible to balance small objects on, pronounced in relation to the rest of him and he irritably yelped as his skin was pinched despite the action not actually hurting at all.
"I'm not." he argued.
He didn't bother trying to pull his hand away, though he did tense up at the contact. His hand was predictably very cold, dainty and with the soft skin of someone who never did any manual labour ever.
"I am perfectly hydrated."

There was a lot more tsking as Harrison examined Lawr's nails. He gently tugged Lawr's hair, too. "******** brittle," He said, surprised, then went ahead and took vitals. "Bloodwork's looking like a better and better idea. The good news is I don't think you picked anything up. Bad news is I'm leaning to something more long term. You feel weak and cold a lot?"

Lawr felt he had never been subjected to such indignity. At least not as an adult, he had been manhandled rather often by nurses as a child and he was not keen to resume it.
"My hair is not brittle." He snarled, truly insulted by the implication.
"And no. I am never either of those things. Warm and fit as a fiddle."

Harrison scribbled down pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
"What's your weapon's name? How's it going in there, you got any idea what's up?" Harrison asked, bringing out a tiny flashlight and taking Lawr's chin in hand. "Mouth open."

"I am not telling you his name." he stated. "It is none of your business. And he says it is also fine."

He was about to grit his teeth and defy the pushy man but decided that would likely just end in more manhandling. He opened his mouth though not without clenching his hand around the edge of the table.

"Mouth's okay," Harrison reported, "still dehydrated. ...I'll get you that water in a minute. But you ought to take the juice."
He fixed a stethoscope to his ears, then lifted Lawr's shirt to have a listen.
Under the shirt, however, it was mostly bones and skin.
"Breath deep. Did you have breakfast?"

"I am just fine with water." he said. "I am not a child."
He flinched at the cold of the stethoscope against his skin but seemed resigned to having his personal space invaded, realising that any attempt to instate his sense of control over Harrison's battering ram of a personality was completely pointless.
He took a deep breath and let out a very pointed and dramatic sigh.
"I had a large breakfast." he said. "And made it for other people also."

"Well," Harrison said, leaning back after he'd finished all his listening and scratching his chin, "no breakfast would have explained the fainting. But if you ate good and have been telling the truth with all the other s**t then I guess you probably have a horrible disease. I'm gonna go get Sunny."

The hand that had been tightly gripping the table to avoid trying to seize Harrison by the throat moved to grab his coat instead.
"That won't be necessary." he said hurriedly.
"Perhaps I did forget breakfast. Absent mindedly."
