 Natsumi walked into her first dance class at the academy it was her first time away from home and her very protective daddy. She loved her daddy very much, but she still needed space to be herself and living at the academy and starting her classes was how she intended to do that. Natsumi smiled as she looked around the room and saw the mirror and the bar. Natsumi wondered what type of dance they would be covering today?? Ballet, jazz, tap, maybe something she didn't really know about. Natsumi sat down on the floor to wait for the teacher and other students to arrive. She wore a simple black leotard and dance skirt, nothing fancy since that wasn't Natsumi's style.

 Dance class...Lilo had always loved watching dancers so it was an obvious choice for them. Lilo figured that it was a good way to meet some people and maybe...just maybe...show off a little bit. Lilo walked into the classroom, wearing a sparkly beige v-neck shirt and black shorts. The was no point in wearing something revealing nor was there a point in wearing pants. Dance was all about free movement and such so this was obviously the better choice.Lilo made their way to the front of the class, sitting down and waiting for the teacher.
The teacher showed up and they all waited for the students to pile in. The teacher took roll call and then asked if there was any questions. Lilo raised their hand, "Is this the dance class...? Because some of these students look like the were supposed to be in the wrestling class...or a totally different class all together." Lilo looked around the class, giving a tiny smirk to the students that they were talking about. "Honestly, it looks like the only other person ready for dance is that one..." She pointed at the red headed hybrid.

Natsumi blinked at the bold forward girl, putting everyone else in the class down except for her. It wasn't very nice though her father encouraged excellence, he didn't encourage rudeness or cruelty. Natsumi wondered what the girl was thinking and why she wanted to be so mean. Natsumi frowned "Why do you like my outfit is fine but put down everyone else??" Natsumi asked plainly "Does it make you feel better to make them smaller??" Natsumi cocked her eyebrow at the girl. Natsumi watched the mousey teacher wait for the girl's to finish their argument before starting class. Which Natsumi also thought was weird, since her daddy would have never let her get away with this if she were in his class, but oh well. Natsumi wanted to know the answer anyway.

Apparently Lilo had struck a chord. Why was she upset, anyway? Lilo had obviously given her a compliment. "If you're going to a dance class isn't it obvious that someone would wear something loose that they can dance in? That's all I'm trying to say. Also, we're freshlings, we're small, they don't need my help with that." Lilo snicked a little bit, they were on point today. "Sorry for interrupting the class." Lilo stood up and made their way closer to the girl and sat down next to her, "Call me Lilo, what's your name anyway?" If they had to be paired with someone, Lilo figured the one ready for the class would be the best option.

Natsumi took a calming breath before she answer. "Yes lose clothes are good, but making others feel bad isn't good." Natsumi said softly. Then Natsumi turned her attention to the teacher, who had cleared her throat for attention wanting to start the class. The students started going through the basic warm up moves for ballet. Natsumi said softly to Lilo so as not to interrupt the class. "I'm Natsumi." Then she went back to leaning over to touch her toes sitting on the floor and then into the toe movements.

The Baphomet began their stretching. Though, how much stretching was really needed for a beginning dance class? It's not like they were going to be doing some crazy things. Oh well. Luckily Lilo was pretty limber, they easily leaned over, grabbing a hold of their toes and silently counted to ten. "So, Natsumi. Why're you taking this class? Do ya actually like dancing or is this just a way to pass time?" Friendly conversation was the weirdest thing in the world.
Lilo stood up and began stretching their arms when the teacher began talking. Going over all the different types of dance styles before asking the class about their favorite dance style. Lilo cleared their throat, "I'd say my favorite dance style is salsa dancing, it's just way more passionate than some of the others. Plus the music is pretty fun too."

Natsumi smiled when Lilo spoke, she answered softly trying not to draw the teachers attention and get them in trouble. "I'm sure my dad would rather I go into law, but I want to dance, what about you, is this just a time killer for you or what you really want to do with your life??" Natsumi asked curiously. Then she leaned over to touch her toes and stretch, she understood that stretching was important so she didn't pull a mussel dancing. Natsumi thought about her favorite dance style, she listened to the other girls tell the teacher their favorite style. Then she listened to Lilo Salsa, Natsumi had never thought about a dance like that. On her turn Natsumi said "I love ballet, jazz, modern, maybe tap??"

Truth be told, Lilo hadn't really put a lot of thought about what they wanted to do with their life yet. I mean, it just felt too soon to decide something so important. However, Lilo was sure that dance was not going to be their lifelong dream "Well...I really don't know what I want to be when I get older. This is kind of a time killer for me...I guess I just want to try it out?" The baphomet really had no idea why they chose this class over some of the others...maybe because it seemed like an easy class?
Lilo didn't pay much mind as the other students spoke up about their favorite dance style. The teacher spoke up, saying something about how they would be going over ballet. Of all the different dance styles...they had to do ballet? It just seemed so boring. "Hey, Nat. Since you said you liked Ballet, wanna partner up with me?"

Natsumi smiled and nodded "If you don't try, how will you figure out what you want, me I want to dance." Natsumi said warmly. She wanted to be a dance teacher when she grew up perhaps or dance professionally. Natsumi cocked her eyebrow "What do you mean, I can show you the moves if you like??" Natsumi started showing Lilo the position to go through. Natsumi knew she wouldn't have a lot of time to teach Lilo after all if was a freshling class. When the class ended Natsumi said to Lilo. "Would you like to come over to my dorm?? I can tutor you in dance if you like??"

Lilo grimaced slightly at Natsumi's suggestion. They had come to this class to waste some time, not to make friends. All friends were good for was letting you down anyway. That and Lilo was absolutely positive that they didn't need any help with learning the moves. Dance seemed easy enough, you just had to have the right dexterity and rhythm, which they definitely had. The only reason they had asked to partner up was because all of the other poorly prepared freshlings looked like they would just bring Lilo crashing down. No way were they going to look like a fool next to those kids.
The baphomet paid close attention to the teacher, making sure to get the poses and moves down right. Lilo stood on their toes, reaching their arms up over their head. "Listen...Nat...maybe some day you can show me the moves, but for right now, I think I got it." Lilo slowly lowered back down as the teacher moved on to other moves.

Natsumi was just done with Lilo, as soon as the class was over, she grabbed her things and left for her next class. Natsumi had no time for Lilo's rude behavior. (It's ok xp I'm calling it fin here thanks for the rp heart )
