 ~Riley looks around his small home. It was not much since he had come here, but that is the way that he liked it. He had traveled off and on for the last couple years. He had see some of the world but not of it. He had met other Cerynei but always felt a bit wired around them because of his mixed blood. He was only half Cerynei his mother had bought him here when he was young to give him the chance to explore and grow without some of her members looking down on him because of his missing antlers. He shook his head and thought of the wonderment of this world. he always knew the world was big he just didn't know how big.~
~ Leaving his home was a little bit hard for him. He did not know when he would return to or if. His mother said that home was what you made it. this place these woods and forest were his home and longed for a friend that he share things and travel with. He always wondered why his mother had kept him hidden from others and wondered what he did wrong to make them not want them around ~

Her larger than normal body hit the ground hard, sending feathers flying as she rolled. Dust clouded up around her, she managed to find the one grassless spot in the whole field. Scratched and bruised she just lay there, trying to figure out who had spun the world on her. With a labored heave she pushed to her hooves, growling at her aching and now battered body, trying to steady herself as she searched for somewhere less out in the open to spend her soon to be unconscious moments. Green eyes scanned the area, her wings, though having lost a few feathers, still decently arranged. Her head hung low as she spotted a decent place to push up against for a nap, it was after all daylight, nightmares would only do so much to her for now.
Heavy steps dug into the ground as she pushed herself to the last limit of her strength, and collapsed under a decently shaded tree. Her eyes sank shut, but not before spotting an odd shimmer of something orange.
A small mumble from her, "Flames? What?" She grumbled and let sleep take her for the moment, chalking it up to the hallucinations of sleep deprivation.

~Riley blinks as dust cloud and something hit the ground hit hard. He was not sure what it was but he was sure that it was soquili. Worried that other soquili could be injured he looks around. Spotting a few black and blue tipped feathers he blinks wow something bad must have happen he hoped that whoever the feathers belong to was alright.~
~Looking around he spots decently shaded tree and spots something underneath it. He walks closer and notices that mare was huge he had only seen one other as big as she was. She was as black as night with blue striped markings to his orange. He gets closer and notices that she was out cold. He knew then that he had to stay and guard her until she came around then and only then could he see how bad she was hurt. He did know a couple of soquili he could take her to if he needed to have her get some healing. However even being day time there were others that would pray on her and hurt her worst if they found her. The tree would provide her with shelter but if someone came under they would be able to spot the tree. He looks at her face. He watches her for movement and hope that she would wake up and he would be able to her help if that is what she needed.~
~he blinked and looked at her he thought that she had said something about flames as he was walking up. It would be something he would have to ask her about. for now he would guard her like his mother had taught him to. He stand and watches for danger. he would protect this mare~

Time passes, the exhaustion fades and though her body is still weary, she cannot sleep longer as the nightmares begin to rush forward out of the shadows of dreamless sleep.
She wakes, without scream, without terror, so used to the waking nightmares that often plague her, but for now there is still the scant sunlight of the day. And though she started alone, there is another hanging about, seemingly standing guard over her. Obviously her subconscious felt that she needed a new imaginary friend. At least this one wasn't bad looking.
Cyanide groaned a bit, her head hurt, she was hungry, and thirsty. And probably needed more rest. With more effort than should have been necessary, she pushed to her hooves, no word to her presumed hallucinatory company and scanned to see if she could find some scant creek before continuing to look for another cache of roots.

~Riley blinks as she groaned, he breathed at lease she was waking up. He stands back and watches her. He was still worried about her she looked weak. He blinks and gets a idea heading to lower branch he stands on his hind heels and picks a leaf off the tree. Lowering himself to the ground he looks around for the stream.. he looks back at her and decides that she might be a little thirsty.~
He looks at her before he heads for the stream. He hoped that she would be alright as he when and got her water. It was barely early eveing and he was getting a little hungry. He looks back under the tree and walks to the stream. slowly he lowers his head and scoops some water up in the leaf before heading back to the mare.~
once there he lowers the leaf and watches her.~ " excuse me miss. I bought you some water. Are you okay? How can I help? Do you need a healer." He watches her and waits.~

Her head tilted when the hallucinatory company decided to grab a leaf, and head off to get her some water. At least the leaf he chose was a decent size to get something to drink.
Sitting back on her haunches she watched as the illusion came back with water and then bombarded her with questions. She took a sip of the water offered, not bothering to answer the figment. Well the water was real at least.
She snorted, her voice coming out like rough sandpaper, deep nearly a stallion's tone, "No, no, and definitively no." There wasn't any need for a healer, or anyone for that matter, and this somewhat well mannered, possible figment did not need to be so polite. She drank the rest of the water in silence, contemplating what to do next. She needed more of her root if she was going to make it farther than the outskirts of the forests, but first she needed something real to eat.
Getting back up to her full height a little easier since she'd had the drink, her tail flicked, "Got any idea where there's something better than grass to eat?" Her tone wasn't quite so rough now, it wasn't like she used her voice often, and even if this was an illusion it was still better to get her voice used to working again.

~he blinks as she tells him that she doesn't need a healer. She was acting wired either she need healer or something was wrong with her. He looks around and watches her. he would respect her wishes but he would watch her if she looked like she needed a healer later he would go get one regardless of what she wanted. he watches her drink the water. He looks around again to make sure that it was safe for the both of them~
~ watching her get to full height. He smiles at her question food was easy to come by he knew where some apples and berries were in the forest and he knew where some pears and oranges were too.~ " What would you like there are some apples not far from here. There are also some berries, oranges and pears. you should rest for a little while. I would be happy to go and get it for you if you like?" ~ He watches her and looks around. it looked safe but he wanted her to rest some more.~

She gave him a rather measured look, then took a long breath.
"Pears and apples." Cyanide was still pretty convinced this was a figment, a very useful figment, but imaginary none the less.
Giving a long heavy sigh, "And what would you be called?" The question was blunt, heavy in the air, as she carefully looked him over. "Cyanide Syn, is generally what I go by, but I'll respond to any number of things." The tone was matter of fact as she spoke. Since he was busily being a helper, she figured she may as well know what her imagination decided to call this one.WC: 105

~Riley gave her smiles.~" as the lady wishes. would you like somemore water?" ~ He watches her somemore and relaxes a little bit he smiles again~
~He bows a little~ " I'm Riley, a pleasure to meet you>" ~he smiles at her name and turns his head towards the trail.~ " Well I better go and get your pears and apples. I will be back soon. just relax." ~ He watches her and smiles~
~After a few minutes he heads towards the pear tree first it was farther away and would take a little more time to reach it. Once to the pear tree he finds some juicey and sweet ones. He stands on his hind legs and reaches them carefully he looks around and finds a nice sized leaf to place them in. After grabbing about three to four of them he carefully picks them up in the leaf and heads for the apple tree. He sets the leaf with pears down and looks around for some ripe ones. Spotting two or three of them he picks them and places them in a bag then heads back to Cyanide~
~returning to her side he sets the leaf bag down in front of her and watches her. then looks for something for himself to eat.~

She nodded to the offer of more water, his name wasn't one she'd heard before. Strange that her mind would give a name she didn't know. She blinked for a moment and simply nodded. Waiting for him to come back. He seemed so weird.
This was strange. Abnormal even for her. Where were the teeth and vicious nasty words that poured when they'd finally revealed their true nature as an imaginary creature of her mind's creating.
He decided to eat with her, she sat there, contemplating what in the world was going on. Had she run into a real soquili after all her time spent alone? Was this something that was normal? She'd been very good at avoiding others. Eating an apple first she contemplated what was actually happening, silent, nearly brooding as her face frowned more and more with each bite she chewed.

~He looks and watches her at the apple. Watching her frown, he decides that he will go and get her more water. He smiles then finishes his food, " I guess I will leave you for a little bit to get you more water." before heading to get more water. finding another leaf he fills it with water and heads back to her~
~ He walks towards her and think it was little wired how she acted but he had met others that had acted different that her a lot different as least she hadn't chased him away yet. She acted like he didn't exist. He shakes his head and beings her more water. He walked up to her and dropped the leaf full of water near her and steps back. He looks around and makes sure that they were safe again. He looks at the stars~ " is there anything else that you need? Its getting a little late. I can help you find shelter for the night if you need?"

She glanced up and saw how late it was. Finishing her meal she shrugged, "Sleep is not on my menu." She smirked, "I will avoid looking too far into things, and head my own way. Once I've...digested." Her tone was wary, it was the first time she'd run into someone outside of the strange half-kalona she'd adopted as her brother. She enjoyed company now and then, but right now...
Her eyes darted to one side, there the mist of her mind began to grow, and she took a startled breath.
"I...need to go." She mumbled to herself as she scarfed down the last of the apple and stood, a short nod of her head and she was moving into the shadows of the trees, she needed to find more of the root to stave off the sleep, stave off the nightmares and stop the waking torture.
Cyanide had no time for pleasantries, or comforts.

~Riley blinks at her tone. Did she sleep her wording was wired to him. He smiles~ " do you sleep? Or is there something your afaid of? That keeps you from sleeping?" ~ he knows that he was asking a lot of questions but he was cirous about the reasons ad had a feeling that he shouldnt leave her lone.~
~he watches her eat and head off to trees. Following her he blinks he didnt know why. But he felt like he needed to help this mare.~
