Hobbies:
Motorcycle riding - This is mostly just for fun, but Rhys does enter some competitions when it comes to riding. He has his own bike, as well as his own gear, and is fully capable of handling the way the bike moves. Whenever he's stressed, or feeling anxious, this is where he can usually be found.
DJing - His full-time job, which Rhys takes very seriously. He's not the most talkative DJ, which can be a hindrance, but he does try his best, and he's good enough at mixing that his bosses are usually okay with his tendency towards quiet. He knows what makes good music.
Singing - More personal than the rest, seeing as how he rarely sings outside of his home, Rhys has a very distinctive, very good voice when it comes to singing. He is not good at playing music, but he can sight read and match vocals extremely well, and without much time and effort. It's a gift he does not use often, but enough that it has become a favorite pastime of his.
Virtues:
Caring - Perhaps Rhys' best trait is his enormous heart. He cares very deeply and very strongly about not just himself, or his family, but anyone and everyone that he meets. He's not exactly naive, not anymore, and while he still holds onto the beliefs that he had prior to purification, he's more aware of the fact that not everyone will be as kind to him even if he's kind to them. However, this will not stop him from doing his best to be generous to all, even possible enemies.
Passionate - In spite of the shyness that he still has traces of, Rhys is a dedicated and loyal individual. He puts his whole heart and soul and mind into whatever he does, and will try his absolute hardest to do the best that he can with what he's been given. This doesn't mean that he always succeeds in what he does, but don't expect anything half-hearted or lazy from Rhys. He dedicates all of himself into his passions.
Adaptable - Over the course of his life, Rhys has learned how important it is not to just stand around and let life pass him by - and how very often life changes. He was resistant to change at first, but is now learning just how much stronger he is than he has ever felt before. He is very intelligent and quick to learn, in spite of his anxieties, and picks things up quickly, learning what changes he needs to make in order to keep moving forward.
Flaws:
Stubborn - Passionate is one thing, stubborn is another. Rhys is a valiant, morally upright person who believes very strongly in what he does, but that moral uprightness sometimes gets him into trouble because he has a hard time seeing beyond what he believes. He will stubbornly hold onto things for as long as he can (he is also quite sentimental in this regard as well).
Emotional - As passionate as he is with everything, Rhys can sometimes be a little too passionate. While it's not necessarily bad to be a sensitive person, Rhys sometimes lets his emotions get the better of him, making it difficult to see the bigger picture. He'll focus too much on the smaller, less significant details and miss out on the larger image of what's to come.
Reclusive - His shyness is still an issue for him. Rhys has never been exactly gregarious, but he's never been unfriendly, either, merely anxious and nervous. He's overcome a lot of that, but he still maintains a certain distance between himself and other people, and it can come off as cool or aloof, even cold, which can cause unnecessary friction.
