how do i tell when a tank is glowing?? am i just stupid or is there something specific? im very confused. question

It´s pretty easy to see when there´s a booty grab. The Aquarium in the signatures will look like this.  smile

There's also an indicator that you can turn on that looks like:
To opt into this indicator, go to My Gaia > Gaia Labs
The second option you'll see is "Booty Grab Glow Indicator". Activate it.
It's completely optional, but I find it helpful. You can click either the button or the tank to start up a game of Booty Grab. When you have the indicator on and a tank is glowing, their post will look like this:
(To see tanks in people's signatures, make sure that option is checked in account settings. Technically, I have that option unchecked. I don't see tanks. However, I can still play Booty Grab since I have the indicator button. It helps decrease lag on my computer.)
Also, be sure to check the Gaia Aquarium form to play Booty Grab. Click on the threads at the top of the forum. They should have (at least) one glowing tank.

Oh!!!! Is that what that message I get about my aquarium daily means? I just started a topic asking what those messages mean, I had no idea it was this "Booty Grab" I've been reading so much about! I had no way to connect the two before reading this topic!
