♦Name: Lux Tenebris
♦Gender: Male
♦Age: 643 years old
♦Personality: Lux Tenebris isn't a wild, aggressive demon by any means. He is more of the laid back type. He prefers to be allowed to do his own thing, even if that does happen to be something dangerous or terrible. He is obsessed with getting stronger, and will do anything to reach that end. In other words, don't be surprised if he switches sides or betrays you if it means that he gains power in the end. It is rare for him to do something like that if he gets attached to someone or something though. In fact, when he gets attached it is difficult for you to get rid of him. He will protect the things he enjoys and holds dear with his life.
♦History: Lux was a demon formed out of the whim of a psychotic sorcerer with immense power. He wanted a servant that would serve him until the end of time. He was formed by a piece of that sorcerer's personality and infused with enough madness and energy to support his own existence. Lux did as he was told, while all the while developing his own abilities and even discovering a few unique powers that his "father" didn't possess. Lux chalked these abilities up to his own personal development of his soul.
About 100 years after he was created, however, his father was hunted down by the Shinigami of that era and killed. Lux noticed the vast power difference between the Shinigami and his father, and quickly joined the Shinigami's side and turned against the one who created him. The Shinigami showed mercy for Lux and granted him freedom, so long as he didn't cause any trouble. Lux ran to the other side of the world, far away from Lord Death, in order to continue developing his abilities and finding ways to get stronger.
Lux heard of a way that he would be able to convert his human form into energy, giving his true form an increase in power. His lust got the better of him and he attempted to achieve those results. What he didn't realize, was that his own ability would work against him. Instead of converting his sealed form into energy, he accidentally began producing dark energy when he should have been exerting his wavelength at a high output. The spell he was conducting registered the dark energy in the place of his wavelength, and converted his true form into power for his sealed form instead.
It wasn't all bad. He did technically get a boost in power, however it wasn't much. In fact, it was much less than it should have been. The rest of the power that he should have gained was sealed away within his soul. Lux spent two hundred and fifty years searching for a way to access this power, however there were no answers. He gave up and looked for other ways to get stronger without needing that power.
Lux's search for power took him to Death City, where he had heard that the city was on a hair-trigger for all out war. He has been there, in the shadows, for a few years. Just watching. And now that things are more interesting, he has decided to come out and play.

♦Sealed Appearance: Lux's sealed form and true form are one and the same. Read his background for information regarding this. Regardless of his forms being the same, his full power is still sealed within himself, and shall be unlocked some time during role play.

- •Self Resonance
- □ This is a generic ability that allows one to perform a soul-resonance without the need for a secondary soul to resonate with. This can only be performed by those who boast a considerable amount of soul wavelength. Self resonance is better known for it's offensive capabilities, especially the Soul Menace attack.
□ Self resonance itself holds a very minimal activation cost; however, the cost is paid for each post that it is maintained.
- ↳Self Resonance allows for the activator to use a Soul Menace attack, by using a physical attack during Self Resonance to drive their own wavelength into their target, disrupting their flow of wavelength and causing internal damage. The use of a Soul Menace triples the cost of the Self Resonance ability for the post that it is used. Using a Soul Menace shuts off Self Resonance after the strike is performed, and locks the ability for two posts afterwards.
•Black Generator
- □ One of Lux's unique abilities, black generator allows for the creation and manipulation of a pitch black energy that takes the shape of multitudes of black birds. The amount of this energy that he can create is unknown, however this energy can be felt on the physical plain, so it has fairly decent offensive capabilities. Lux's control over this energy is great enough that he can condense the energy an extreme amount to form sharp edges and points.
□ The creation of the dark energy is active, yet holds no energy cost itself. In order to manipulate the energy, there is a small energy cost for each post that it is being manipulated.

•Solomon's Wrath
- □ Lux is able to gather an immense amount of his dark energy around him in a tight black sphere, which expands rapidly and with tremendous force. This sphere carries a massive concussive force with its expanding edges, and repulses anything that Lux does not deem an ally. People, tree's, rocks, even the ground itself are all shoved away in the face of this ability.
□ This ability is activated by paying a large energy cost. It cannot be activated again for another 15 posts after its initial activation.
•Genesis
- □ Lux possesses an incredibly fast regenerative ability for physical energies. He is able to heal heavy wounds within minutes, minor wounds within seconds, and heal internal organs or missing limbs (outside of things like his head, brain, or heart) within an hour.

•Levitation
- □ Lux is able to walk on air, otherwise known as levitation. This ability has been available to him ever since he was a first born, so it has lost its former energy cost.

•Counter Shield
- □ Lux is able to form a powerful shield around his body and those around him that can withstand physical attacks with ease. If one wishes to destroy this shield on their own, it requires a great amount of physical force; however, this shield falters in the face of energy based attacks. While this shield is active, Lux cannot attack or make any offensive gestures in general.
□ This shield has no real duration, though it does cost a chunk of energy for every post that it remains active.
