I was thinking maybe our two female characters can be royalty and be sisters (or cousins). They were granted each a necklace when they were born, one with a blue stone and the other with a red. The stones were given by their grandmother who was cast out a couple years later being accused of witchcraft. The stones are known as the sun and moon stone. Combining them would grant the user power over the ocean, but that knowledge was lost with the death of the grandmother.
Anyway, their older siblings coming of age to take the throne birthday and the King and Queen want to throw a party to celebrate. The two girls want nothing to have with the royal duties. They want something more than just the walls of the castle. So on the night of their siblings birthday they go up to the first ship they see on the harbor and persuade them with a large sum of money to take them away and drop them off of the next town they stop at.
They don’t know that the ship they stow away on is a pirate ship. As soon as the money is handed over and the ship casts off, that's when the disguises are taken off and the two are thrown into the cells to keep for ransom. Perhaps the Captain is looking for the stones?
I was thinking the Captain and first mate could be who our characters our paired with or perhaps the ship is captained by two brothers?

I actually LOVE that plot. And I think they can be sisters. And it will be interesting if the main pirates are brothers. I think I have a character or two that could be used for pirates. One is a Native American named Mingan and the other is Ashton who is a 'foreign beauty' (dark skin, white hair). Of course I will ask which you would like. I can imagine this RP being real and anime.

I myself have been out of the RPing game for a couple years now, but was heavily into it back between 08-12.
I have recently returned, and was looking to get back into it.
Some info/background. I was primarily into S&M RPs and in my hayday even ran a guild dedicated to it, however I really love the essence of RP and can do any genre in any way, I love it. As far as plots go, I never liked a 'set' plot in that the story was dedicated to it. I like things to be organic, and as such I like a plot driven by story, and not a story driven by plot. I have some ideas floating around, and even havea character I created WAYYY back in the day that I never got to finish because I wanted to RP his story and not just write. If you are interested he is here. I would like to note that I wrote that around the age of 16, and that I had left a lot of errors, and a lot of blegh. I spent that last 2 hours rewriting the first 5(?) paragraphs and will look into the rest tomorrow more likely. I want to say an RP based of him would not start out, but when I RPed with him, he was a HARD dominate M. So that is the direction it would go, but that was a ways down the line of where the RP would likely to begin, so it could really be anything with anyone.
If you are interested in that let me know, or if you like my writing style, base it off the first few paragraphs and not the later ones so much, we could do something else. I am good with anything at this point, as my creative itch has been dogging me, and I just would like a good in depth RP, 1v1 or # v #,
