If there was one thing Skoll now possessed, it was a very, very strong appreciation for the ferocity and raw power that many of the Negaverse wielded. It probably had something to do with the weapons; she knew how devastating a weapon could be, how much power it added to swing or hit. A summer of Aikido clinics taught her enough to disarm an opponent, as well as wield a knife or stick to brutal efficiency.

You mix the physical boosts she gained while being Skoll, and snapping necks was almost like breaking a twig. On one hand, it was a rush of power that she craved, an added advantage that boosted her already honed skills. On the other, it made her into a very, very powerful killing machine.

She didn't like killing; she preferred to knock people out or break limbs. Sometimes it was necessary; if they were coming at you with the intent to kill you, you had to fight back. Still didn't mean she liked doing it.

Skoll stalked through the back alleys, looking for something, anything, that she could take her frustration out on. Damn them for having weapons, and damn that b***h that lead them.

Unlike his senshi counterparts, Wolfeite had no qualms about using whatever methods he could to achieve his goals. Considering that most of those were, at present, a simple desire to gain more power, all it meant was taking what was rightfully his.

Starseeds. Energy. All of it. There didn't need to be anything left behind, because everything that Wolfeite wanted, he got.

It was that simple.

The alleyways were an easy way to achieve some of what he set out to do, though Wolfeite had to admit that many of them were living in squalor. Still, a starseed was a starseed, and he wasn't about to pass up what was a simple and obvious solution to what he was looking for.

He felt, now, as he straightened, the beginning edge of an Order signature drawing closer. Wolfeite turned dark eyes towards the end of the alleyway he was currently standing in and made his way towards it, starseed in hand the way one might carry an apple, or a snack.

"Going somewhere?" he asked lightly.

Skoll paused, turning to look over her shoulder at the owner of the voice. The presence of Chaos was clear, and he definitely looked it. The fight in the Rift had been chaotic, but she'd gotten a good look to the ranks. He was probably around her power level, though the casual way he held the glittering starseed in his hand spoke volumes. Probably an apt fighter, or at least very cocky. He would have been decently attractive too, if she wasn't quite sure this was going to end in a fight.

"Naw, I just roam the back alleys for fun," said Skoll with an air of sarcasm. She shifted her weight, blading herself to him in the same smooth motion. The arm farthest from him - ideal the one he couldn't see - chambered close to her side, fingers curling into a fist.

"Care for a stroll?" she returned in reply, smiling without showing teeth.

Her sarcasm made his eyes glitter with disdain; Wolfeite was used to that, used to the bite and sass from Pasi alone, and it did not faze him, his posture unchanging. Wolfeite lifted the starseed to his lips, breathing in the scent of it, deliberately ghosting breath across it.

"Why play games?" he asked, and slid the starseed into his mouth, crunching down on it with his teeth, the sound loud in the alley. "I see little reason in pretending."

And without a second thought, he dived forward, throwing himself towards her.

"My kind of man. Too bad you're the enemy." The starseed eating was... weird and kind of gross, but hey, if that was how he got his kicks, who was she to hate on it. It was a soul he was eating. He probably knew that.

Probably.

He launched at her and she cracked her neck, bringing her left arm forward as a front block, chambering her right arm for a straight punch to his jaw once he got close. Skoll steeled herself in the moment; too often she started moving seven moves ahead, and with the Negaverse she'd learned that you couldn't do that. They were unpredictable and volatile.

So she acted in kind, eyes bright with the challenge of the fight.

Her comment sent a razor of irritation through him.

"I am," said Wolfeite, lips curling into a disgusted expression beneath his mask, "No one else's man."

He knew what the starseeds were and didn't care; what they had been and what they were to him were two entirely different things. They had been someone else's soul. They now were his source of power, his source of greed.

He crashed into her, and while her block worked to prevent him from reaching her face or chest, Wolfeite shifted an arm lower, aiming for her midsection. The senshi's fist grazed his jaw; he felt his head snap back, teeth cracking together, but a snarl of impatience and anger was the only reaction, Wolfeite pushing forward.

Skoll opened her mouth to make a snarky comment, to continue to rile him. The words caught in her throat as he crashed into her.

Now now, little pup, you're letting your anger control you.

She twisted a second too late, taking most of the blow to her right side. There was that super human powered strength she wasn't familiar with fighting, directly. It's one thing to tag team a poor agent who clearly has no idea how to fight. It's another to fight one on one with a trained fighter who fought for blood or killing. Skoll suspected Wolfeite was one of those.

He was also impatient and her punch to his jaw fueled his anger. She bobbed down, aiming two quick jabs to his solar plexes in succession, and keeping her arms positioned relatively close to her to block effectively.

He liked the feel of his fist sinking into her side, enjoyed it far too much. He wanted more of it, wanted to feel the bones breaking and snapping under his fingers until there was nothing more, until she was broken and shattered at his feet.

But the senshi was feisty and strong, and he felt her fists crash into his chest, one right after the other. It sent Wolfeite staggering back, gasping and wheezing for breath, the pain ricocheting up throughout his entire body. He clutched at his chest, and the anger was palpable now, burning through him.

"You little s**t," he hissed, and lunged, swinging a leg out to try and drive a knee into her stomach.

"Aw, is the little puppy hurt?" she remarked, flashing a grin full of teeth. The knee came up and she shifted to the side, using one arm to deflect it away from her. Good kick though. Skoll didn't go for the obvious grab and twist, simply holding his leg away from her with her arm instead. She didn't need a foot to the head.

"Do you want a kiss to make it better?" she teased, leaning in just so, and snapping a kick towards his opposite side, near his floating ribs. Not just knee, but full leg, with intent to follow through. So many she was having fun with it now. Maybe just a little bit.

He ignored her comment, in spite of the irritation that seared through him at it. Her condescending tone and her all too superior attitude were things he was used to already, and Wolfeite pushed those aside, settled his mind by reminding himself just how pathetic she already was if she had to resort to such taunts.

"No." The answer was flat, emotionless. Wolfeite twisted away from her foot, narrowly dodging her kick, and instead pivoted around behind the senshi, aiming to drive an elbow against the small of her back.

Pathetic. Cocky. Really depended on who's view of if you wanted to take. Skoll definitely realized she was acting cocky, taunting him and trying to rile him up. It was one of those issues she still hadn't dealt with. The elbow landed square in her back and she stumbled forward, winded. Damn that hurt like hell. She snarled, staggering some paces. Rage was a blessing and a curse. Clarifying but still very, very dangerous to use.

Skoll turned, squaring herself off against Wolfeite. The rage cleared her mind of the cockiness, edging her to attack him while she could. She instead went on the defensive and waited.

It wasn't easy to admit she was outmatched, but she might just have to here.

He felt the satisfying thud of his elbow against her back, a hiss of pleasure escaping Wolfeite's throat. Straightening a little, he slid his feet back into position and watched as she took a defensive stance this time, not an offensive one - though still aggressive, judging by the look in her eyes.

Beneath the mask, Wolfeite's grin twisted manically across his face, distorting his features.

He lunged forward, no warning given, and aimed a fist at the senshi's face.

He caught her squarely in the jaw, and Skoll tumbled to the ground. Damn him, damn his strength over her. She was over matched here, and knew when best to bolt.

Skoll snarled at him, remembering his features, imprinting them on her mind, and bolted, running as hard and as fast as she could.

Someday, someday she'd killed him. She was sure of it.
