 Little paws padded along a game trail, most likely used daily by rabbits or something slightly bigger. It just happened to cross through the little secluded area she and Chimera were calling their temporary residence. Though the stallion had recently gotten information (through his magical network means) about a herd that resided near the area. So far, though, neither of them had managed to find the herd. But they were still looking. They could potentially hold information that would be highly useful to her goals.
Slowing her pace, the mini purple mare's ears flickered forward as she listened to her surroundings. A bird lifted off, startled, from a tree a few yards away. Halting completely, Shaden narrowed her eyes and looked around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Perhaps she had found where this herd of 'little ponies' (Chimera's way of describing it) was located? Sniffing at the air, she didn't smell others. Well, not a whole herd of them anyways. There were definitely scents of others that had passed through this area too.
Huffing at herself, the mini mare shook her whole body before taking up a slow trot again. Only to skid to a halt once again as a new sound caught her attention. There was something else out here! Grinning, Shaden listened until she caught the sound again. Her feet started taking her in the general direction of it before her mind had fully made up the decision.
Wouldn't it be awesome if she found the herd before Chimera? The stoic jerkface that he was at times. She'd love to rub this one in!
Laughing a little, the mini mare pranced along, following her ears and nose to investigate the source of what she was hearing and smelling.
