Fertalius's Rebirth

[Fallen Akari-chan]

Long ago the Kingdom of Fertalius was dry and dusty , inhabited by only those not able to make their way off the island to the mainland squabble for the little food water they could scrounge. Infighting among the villages were common and often would lead to full scale wars among them. It would continue for decades until a determined young man arrived from the west.

This boy had come from the Draxian peninsula to Fertalius on a mission, ot bring vital supplies to the barren land. He travelled from hamlet to village, telling people that he brought water but he were always cast out and ridiculed for he only brought a single longsword not carts full of water skins or seeds.

Eventually he had enough and climbed the tallest peak on Fertalius; Mount Taldnar once on the summit, the young man called out over the land, letting it echo over the peaks. "If you will not believe I can save this land, I will show you!" With that he thrust his sword into the ground.

Immediately a wave of energy erupted from the ground coating the entire island in a verdant blanket as well as water flowed through the dry riverbeds once more. The islanders knew what had happened. They had heard his call over the whole realm. It was there when The boy descended from the mountain he were greeted by a horde people all bowing him towards him. It was now that all the villages had banded together and said " You brought us together, ended our fighting. We are yours. " Fertalius had its first king. His name was Arthur.

Arthur's lineage still exists to this day and it is a glorious day as Prince X has been officially chosen to be the successor to the throne. The king had no other children and while originally his brother were set to rule but with the birth of his own son, it was over for him. His other child born from his mistress would not be of royal blood so she could not be in the running.

Morgana were a sorceress and quite a powerful one at that. She could command the elements and even seemingly heal any wound. While her father had appointed her to be a court mage but it wasn't enough for her. She wanted the throne for herself.

With some assistance from the King's brother Morgana had stumbled upon an old book that allowed her to make a pact Jendixus, an ancient evil that granted her magical powers beyond her wildest dreams. All the while Jendixus asked for one last thing. She would have to carry his child. Now pregnant with demon spawn and arcane powers, Morgana was all set for regicide, all ready for revenge.

Our story begins at the prince’s coronation…

Trumpets blared out their sharpness complimenting the cheer of the crowd as the crown prince stood before them his shoulders square and sharp. He waved to them as the the king ceremoniously set an circlet on his sons head and smiled today was a good day for him. His people were all healthy and he chuckled to himself as he saw that his realm’s namesake kept true throughout all the years.

All across his land the crops were always bountiful, a huge surplus that were sold to merchants to be carried to the mainland were always a boon to the island nation and to his surprise the people were always well fed as well. In 20 years there had only been a few grumbling citizens but now even they saw the beauty of his island. It also seemed his own people were blooming too with the large number of women in the crowd pregnant as well. To the old king he only could give a warm smile to his son as he rose to take his place next to his son.

His smiled turned to shock as he saw his guards drop next to him as a red haired woman stepped up to him, a dark energy swirling in her hand. His eyes widened as he recognised her ; His own illegitimate daughter had killed his men.

“Morgana, What is this madness!” The king demanded as he extended his hand to try to stop her.

“Its nothing father, your time is over.” Morgana replied firing a blast at him and watching his flesh melt away. “The time for Jendixus and myself, not you old man.” She turned to the prince and grinned. “As well time for you dear brother…”

The prince would feel himself grabbed by a pair of hands just before he felt the heat of a fireball launched towards him. His world would melt away as the world spun before him before he blacked out.

He awakens far away with someone prodding him, who shall it be?

Heartseeker is said to have been forged from the blade once weilded by Fertalius' first king. Perfectly balanced for Max's eloquent dueling style its embued with magic to protect its weilder.

The prince can imbue his comrades with energies when they join up with him to resist dark magic as well as give them strength to carry out their duties. As a result though his female companions often end up pregnant swelling them to full term in minutes (if the player so desires or slower too )
