◆ Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Lapina is an extremely kind person, who loves helping people and animals in need. She's usually very sweet and optimistic, though when her family is brought up she becomes rather sad and somber. She'll recover fairly quickly once the subject is changed though, and is back to her usual happy self in no time. Her love of helping people also makes her rather protective of her friends, though when she's angry she doesn't look very intimidating.
◆ Bɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ: Lapina grew up hidden from the both the human world and the witch world, her family shunned by the witches for their lack of a Pull of Magic. She learned her mother's illusion and augmentation magic, though was never quite as skilled with it as her or her sister. Her father and mother cared for them both equally, always watching over them to make sure they were safe. Lapina and her family would often move from town to town, never staying in one place for more than a few years.
They lived fairly peacefully, until Lapina was found by a group of meisters and weapons unaffiliated with DWMA. At the time they were living in isolation in the mountains, so her Soul Protect wasn't needed in her head. This drew the meisters to her and they attacked, seeing her an easy target. They chased her through the forest, being sure to prolong it for the fun of it. She got multiple scars from thrown weapons, branches, and thorns, but it wasn't until the meisters stopped caring about having a chase and slashed Lapina's calves that her family was close enough to save Lapina. To the meisters, it appeared that Lapina had teleported, when really it was Lapina's sister casting her magic. Her mother cast a more advanced illusion spell so she and her husband could grab the injured Lapina and retreat, though Lapina's sister insisted she stay behind to allow the others to escape, and Lapina watched through teary eyes her sister be attacked mercilessly before being impaled through the chest.
Many years later, Lapina enrolled into the DWMA while her parents went into hiding, as they all figured she'd be safer there than wandering the countryside.
