Part of Nell's job was to keep fit and active, and yet she'd never actually attended a class, or even really gone to a public gym. That wasn't the sort of thing a governor's daughter and small-time child actress did. Her attitude towards PE class was less hesitant than might otherwise be expected, originally... at least until she had struggled through a mile-and-a-half timed run and done a truly unholy number of pushups. All terrible things did come to an end eventually: When she returned to the gymnasium with the rest of her class, there was a line of foam balls at center court.

She regarded this with a reasonable amount of trepidation. Not because she was confused, oh no. Nell knew what dodgeball was. Only... she'd thought it was illegal, or something, because of concussions.

PHWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

Nell didn't flinch, but she did turn to look at the gym teacher. "Two teams," the woman yelled, "Count it off! Team one, you're wearing the red pinnies! Team two, blue!"

Pinnies, Nell decided, were the literal worst part of high school phys ed. She pulled a red one over her uniform Meadowview gym shirt and joined her group. "I've never actually played this before," she confided to a nearby classmate. "I mean, not much chance with homeschooling, am I right?" She was so right.

Perhaps it was because it was a game of Dodgeball that Rayna found herself brimming with energy. Generally she barely tolerated PE class but today was different. She was looking forward to the game. As her classmates were split up into either the red or blue team the teen couldn't help but glance to the line of foam balls that were lined up neatly in the center of the room. Grabbing the blue pinnie that was thrust towards her Rayna eagerly pulled it over her head. It was hard to conceal her growing excitement for the game to start.

Smoothing the pinnie out Rayna glanced to her blue teammates before catching Naoki's comment. She chuckled before casting the line of balls another look once again. "It's funner and the game goes faster. You need to keep your eyes open."

Rayna was ready to start playing already.
