As you may or may not know, Delirious and I have decided to step down from our leadership of the role-play and of the guild. I feel we no longer fit the needs of a leader and would like to make this role-play with a little more control with rules that I, or Delirious, can’t enforce because of the people we are. (Just being honest!)
In conclusion, we have decided to take in the possibility of making someone our new successor. With this, they will become the new leader of the role-play. Anything and everything I have done in the past, they will now have control over.
As a leader, they can control who is crew, the rules, adding/removing people, etc. This does not mean they are forced to run the role-play as a whole. There are crew for a reason and I will still be able to give my support if and as need be. As leader, they will be able to have final say though and I will merely be to give them suggestions, as other crew do, and to answer any question they might have.
As of now, it is not within my reasoning to want to take back ownership at any one point, as it is also not to leave the role-play entirely. If for any reason I do end up leaving the role-play, whoever is given the leadership will continue to have it and take ownership of the mule account, Noble Pulchritude, as I will have little to no use for it. They will also be in control of getting a new dean in order and changing up the storyline to fit.
However, while I am still here, and I find the winner’s leadership unsettling for the whole, I will… well, impeach them, I suppose, or at least try to work this through to make everything better for everyone, not just a few.
With all this being said, it is within your right to vote on who you think will be the best person to rule the role-play from now on. As a voter, you’re only allowed to vote once. You must vote in the poll and, if you want, you can write it out, but it is not mandatory. Make sure who you vote for is who you actually want. Once you have voted, you cannot take it back. When all votes have been collected from all (seventeen, or the majority) of our members, I will then pick a winner. The winner will be based on my experiences with the candidates along with the votes. The winner may or may not be what the majority voted for.
In the next four posts each candidate has completed their own campaigning descriptions of what they believe will make them great leaders. Please read and choose carefully! Thank you all for participating and supporting me for as long as you have and I hope to have a better future with the new leader!
Let the fun commence! c:

TRTLTOT FOR OWNERSHIP Honestly, the main reason I think I should take ownership of the role play is because I have the most time to dedicate to it. I have no job and I don’t go to school. There is literally nothing to stop me from devoting my time to tending to the needs of the role play.
If elected, I will move to enforce notifications as to how long a writer has gone without posting. When presented with a hopefully feasible reason as to why the delay, I will work with any writer, to help get a post. I will even go as far as co-writing if one so desired. I would also enforce the hiatus rule. I would expect to be notified about such things as one’s work load, so that I will be able to understand your posting needs.
I am sure many understand that I am not happy with the posting rate. However, there are those who find it comfortable, if you would. Thus, I would not force upon you a short posting period. Though I would very much like at least one character, from any writer, a month. At least then the role play would not feel so stagnate. I am open to debate on this topic. Perhaps, even, a secondary vote.
So if you like my designs, please vote for me.

Hi everyone, I have been a member of this rp since its inception, so I have a good understanding of its history and how it has run in the past including successful and failed events. While the posting rate is slow, I do not believe that is our major issue. In fact, an unenforced posting rate is what has kept this rp going for as long as it has.
Posting Time
When people are stressed into making posts, it’s discouraging and insensitive to what they may have going on in their lives making it a chore instead of enjoyable. Rping should not be a priority for anyone and instead should be a fun and welcoming past time. However, when people are interacting with other characters they should take into consideration the amount of time that has passed. Waiting more than one month for a character interaction without reason is unacceptable and I will enforce a mandatory hiatus if this is to occur, meaning that all other characters involved will be given permission to skip this person automatically and at their own discretion. The writers should work together to figure out the best solution when the person becomes active again.
Another concern is the amount of time it takes to get through a skip. This is largely member directed and should not be rushed so that all members may enjoy and make the most out of their interactions and plot builds. Making it to Gen 2 is not a priority, and I believe it should not be an ultimate goal for Lubchenko. It is an entirely different rp and I believe its anticipation has been contributing to why certain members are not enjoying the current rp and want to rush the skips. The solution to this should be either
A - Immediate termination of a possible Gen 2 (Do we want Lubchenko to be long term or end it just for this?) B - Those members who wish to may make their own rp outside of and separate from Lubchenko. It can not be related to Lubchenko in any way (Evan and Zombie will need some input on this) besides the characters which are of each author’s own discretion.
Organization and Communication
A major failing with the Halloween timeskip was the lack of organization and communication. An idea for a side event was suddenly put into play early on in the event. It forced random pairings to come together and dance as well as go through a costume change. Several members were not okay with their characters being involved and were not heard when they expressed this. More organization is required before coming up with side events like this. The guild will be utilized for this and a plan will be created.
When major decisions are made concerning the rp, all members should be involved. I truly believe that rps are a team effort and are built by its members. The guilds will be utilized more often for this purpose. The Skype chats are not a practical method for all members to be heard. One voice does not weigh more than others.
Events
We typically come up with ideas for these as a group but they lack direction most of the time so they will require a bit more planning. I think it also contributes to the slower pace of posts. When nothing that interesting is happening then where is the motivation to post? We have been planning mostly holidays. Do we want to branch away from that? Do we want to plan bigger plot building events? Possibly create a new plot together or expand on the one we have? (The God War) Below is a list of what skips we have done since the beginning of the rp to get an idea. I may have missed one.
- Lake Party - Class Day - Halloween - Thanksgiving - Arena - Christmas
Conclusion
With everyone’s help, I think we can get excitement built up for this rp again, but it will require more planning and discussion. After 2 years things naturally slow down, but I know that the people in this rp are dedicated. I know many of you have some great ideas too and are not usually heard. I intend on fixing that to the best of my ability.

Those of you that know me know that I have been on top of my posting unless it has had a reasonable excuse. While I don't expect people to be able to write as fast as I do, if I am elected to be the new leader of this roleplay, there are a few changes I would like to see put in place.
One of these changes is posting regularity. Seeing people having to wait a month, myself included, is unacceptable. People lose drive the longer that they have to wait, which leads to more waiting. It becomes quite the vicious cycle. The posting period rules will not be completely strict, and there will be a large level of understanding for people who have busier lives especially around finals season for those of you in school.
You will have two-three weeks to post once it is your turn, open communication with me would be nice during this period if you need an extension on this time. Without communication, after those two-three weeks, you will receive a reminder that it is your turn to post. After the reminder has been sent, and I can send it on multiple platforms for those that are part of Skype chat, you have another two-three weeks to post. Failure to do so will result in a character of your choosing to be benched.
Benching means that this character will still be owned by you, and it will still have its position at Lubchenko, but you will be unable to post as that character until you post regularly as your other characters. It doesn't take much to earn a character back, just consistency and communication.
As far as Generation 2 is concerned, it has always been within my sights. Myself and others have done plenty of plotting and character creation out of the exciting idea of a second roleplay in the future, but it is not a major concern right now. While I still want Generation 2 to happen, I want to see the final major and minor plot movements for the current roleplay to shape out.
I will keep a full crew which are welcome to pick up extra jobs if they want it, between accepting new character profiles or making announcements and so on. I want everyone to be able to work as a team, because if it wasn't for all of us, this roleplay would not have lasted as long as it has. Let's not let it falter now.

Hey guys,
I'm not much of a politician, but I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring.
If I were made the leader of Lubchenko, I wouldn't want things changed drastically; My two main focuses would be the post frequency and the way we handle time skips.
Time skips, simply put, would happen with fewer days between them (as in less than two weeks) and focus on pre-picked portions of the day. Regular school days and weekends, that is, with Holidays as they would occur. This would allow for more organic character growth, as opposed to having to reconcile massive lengths of missed time and only recapping important personal developments.
Post frequency is a more touchy subject. Personally, I am usually content with our pace. I am sometimes one to be waited on with an overdue post, for many reasons. However, I have also been the recipient of what I suspect was the worst case of late-posting seen in Lubchenko, having waited two months to finally be ignored by the character I was engaging. The culprit here is no longer among us, granted, but that is the sort of thing that has actually taught me to be patient of other people's posting habits. I tell myself "At least I'm not dealing with THAT person again." Which isn't a great attitude to have to have, but let's face it - Even when you are waiting - what, a couple weeks? That person is visible to you, usually. We're all on Skype, at least to say hello. You know they're coming back. So, it is with that in mind that I'd tackle the post frequency issue in the following ways: Firstly, I don't feel like a week's wait is a big deal. At two weeks, I will be keeping an eye on how often a person is around - have they been on Skype? Are they having personal issues or is something else keeping them from posting? I think it will be fair at three weeks to message someone who's being waited on and who doesn't seem to have a reason for not posting. We can extend to this person a similar length of time in which to post, or if they prefer, put their character(s) on hiatus until they are able to participate more freely, thus opening up any stuck characters to move on. Anyone who asked for the extension, but failed to post, would be assumed to be on hiatus and consequently skipped. And second, I would implement a chart of some sort to keep track of who posted when, and who is waiting on whom. This would be on Google Sheets, and available to the crew for editing and to everyone else for viewing. It will be simple enough then, I think, to keep from falling on memory or hard feelings when it comes to scheduling when to message folks.
These two changes, in conjunction with one another, could have many beneficial effects: - Closely grouped time skips may make it easier to build relationships over the long term, or make it less crucial to sub-plots that a character be in a pre-determined location. Things will seem less contrived this way. - Possibly higher excitement for all the small plots we've talked about but had to twist or leave out to accommodate the grand, over-arching holiday/party plots. - Smaller, more fluid interactions that would result in fewer large groups forming and the subsequent issue of long waiting time for 'turns'. - Broader character interactions. Characters will ultimately get time with others we haven't necessarily plotted with. We would get to see how classmates engage one another, how after-school groups tackle their various activities as a group. - Lower likelihood of Nurse's Office parties (classic Lubchenko events, as they may be). - and so on. It will really open doors to deeper developments, as well as allow us to access sillier plots (you know that genderbend day would totally happen on some random and unassuming day on the week).
Our mostly free-form post schedule is what has allowed us to go on together for as long as we have, I'm sure of that, and no hard-set schedule will ever make this roleplay better for anyone. However, a more aware approach and a helpful (and hopeful) attitude will go a long way for this group, I'm sure.
As for a few of the other concerns, here's my stance on them: Gen 2 isn't off the table. It isn't the 'ultimate goal,' it isn't the reason we are playing Gen 1, but it could definitely happen, some day. I have characters waiting in the wings, as I know quite a few people do. Before we really think hard about this, though, I would like to gauge how long we intend to make this roleplay last. We've been doing this for almost three years now, guys. People have come and gone, but Lubchenko has kept going. Slowly, sometimes. Confusingly, a lot of times. But mostly it's been a fun ride so far. I want it to be a good time for everyone. BUT! (and not to be a downer here) Lubchenko Gen 1 will end, eventually. It would have to for a Gen 2. And that's why that's not our goal. Not everyone's here for Gen 2. We need to focus on making Gen 1 awesome right now, for everyone. For the foreseeable future, I can stick around and I think a lot of you want to as well. We're (mostly) all adults here, not expecting big changes that come with growing up. None of us have kids to take care of, I'm pretty sure. What I'm saying is - Long haul, that's what I'm up for. What about you? We don't have to set this in stone right now, but I would like for everyone to consider this as we move forward. Roleplaying one day out of every week would mean roughly another 24 time skips between now and June. That's a few years for us. One day every two weeks would cut that in half, course, and there's also options to choose intervals somewhere in between 7 and 14 days. We should look into this, going forward. How time skips might work: because like I just said 'YEARS'. It's a big deal. I would like to implement a limit of some sort to how long each played period lasts. Perhaps a page per active poster? Because 14 posts per person is a lot, really. More than enough for you to rock out some awesome plots. The way this would work is this: say there's 5 people, we'd play for about 5 pages - 10 people, 10 pages. Not everyone's going to want to post all those posts, and some people will post more than that. It's fine. This is another soft schedule, too, if you will - When we get around to the last one or two allotted pages, we will have a pole or a census to decide if we're actually ready to skip or not. We can extend or shorten the played period as needed. We may find that a page person is too much, even, in which case it could be shortened to half a page per person. Let's see what works.
- - - - -
I realize this is super long and I was really existential for a bit up there (the worst of it was removed, I assure you), so I'm going to end this rant of a campaign by saying this: You're all some of my very best friends in the whole world, and I would never want to see the roleplay broken up, because I wouldn't want us all to be split apart. In the end, no matter who's chosen as the thread leader, I'm going to strive to help keep Lubchenko alive and moving. I hope we can all keep working together to make it happen.
