Events: None at the moment.
Important note:
The city streets are possibly the busiest and most liveliest parts of Lohrith, filled with murals and other beautiful street art. Above that, it is filled with various greenery and vines that decorate the buildings that bring the art all together and small streams that scatter themselves about the streets of the middle ring, on the outer ring most of the streets are connected to the sea that allow for gondola rides. Here there are various shops for clothes, jewelry and furniture as well as other various goods. Most of these shops are family run and small businesses. Not only that, tour guides can be found through out as well as gift shops. Among other things there are occasional booths for quick snacks or foods and of artists selling their art, and even take commissions, these are not limited to painters but also sculptors and potters as well. Also many small parks and gardens can be found hidden throughout the streets should you find your ways through the different back allies. Most of which have gorgeous views that over look the city.
It is also best for tourists or any visitors to be wary of con-artists that may find themselves in the city and carry any maps they have with them to avoid getting lost. As the city streets often have many narrow winding paths that lead to other various shops and major road.
The last thing that can be done is there are occasional events held on major streets that range from parades to festivals.
To go through the separate rings of the city there is a main set of stairs with water running down them into a great fountain that holds some of the main, humanized, muses of Lohrith, many people are allowed to play in the outer waters of it on hot days.
Though, in all its beauty the city streets hold its own wonders. The city folk refer to them as the seven mysteries of Lohrith. They are listed below, see if you can find or disprove them, and good luck!
1. The wishing stairs: These are the main stairs but commonly referred to as the wishing stairs. It is said that if you are to count out loud all one hundred and fifty-five stairs out loud from the outer ring to the middle while in the water that runs down them then a one hundred and fifty-sixth shall appear. It is then that you can state your wish and have it be granted. Many have tried this and have often had mixed responses.
2. Friend on the other side: In one of the many back allies there is a turn that leads to a dead end. If you are to stand right before the turn it is said that a blue ball will be tossed out onto the wall in which the dead end faces and bounce into your direction. Should you throw it back without looking to the dead end the game will continue. Many people have looked and found nothing, though many kids enjoy playing pranks on those who come to try it out.
3. The ghost gondola: On the outer ring gondola ride are permitted, though at night around midnight to three in the morning it is said that there is a lonely gondola that appears to have a ghost rider who is often singing a song of love.
4.The doppelganger: In one of the hidden parks of Lohrith there is a small waterfall that is built into the wall with a foggy mirror attached behind the running water. It is said that if you are to stare into your reflection for ten seconds your reflection will come to life to play a game of Simon says. Few have reported to be true, though there is another rumor surrounding it that you don't to lose this game otherwise your doppelganger will take your place and you will be stuck in the mirror.
5. The girl on the cliffs: There is a spot in Lohrith that give you a perfect view of Lookout Cliff, which has a few coin operated binoculars that allow for better viewing. It is said that if you are to look through them at the cliff there appears to be a ghostly figure standing at the edge of the cliff, if you are to look away to find her out of the binoculars she will not be there. Very few have reported that after looking back into the telescope she appears to be standing right in front of them.
6. Voices in the tunnel: On the gondola ride there used to be a tunnel in which you could go through, but after hearing voices that seem to be responding to the ghost gondola's love song, it has been taken out of the tour. Though, if one were to ask you are allowed to go through it.
8. The missing seventh: Many have city folk revealed that there is no seventh wonder and perhaps actually eight. Though, the mystery surrounding the seventh is unknown and is said to play into the eighth wonder. Few have claimed to know but they refused to tell due to a long list of changing reason as to why. Perhaps there is actually only six wonders but the seventh and eighth are just a game that the locals play on tourists. See if you can figure out the mystery. Please for the love of god do not ask me what it is because I honestly came up with this on the fly and could only come up with six so I dont have an answer to give. In other words have fun with it. I actually dont care if you ask, this is white so I doubt you'll see this. < 3
