Hyperborea had just finished up taking a bath after her training with Theseus had concluded. Now that she had a new weapon from her promotion to Knight Theseus had focused her training on teaching her staff combat. He apparently had a spear as his weapon so he was fairly experienced in that type of combat, which was good because Hyperborea was completely inexperienced in staff fighting. The other main focus of her training was getting her used to fighting in the longer dress she now had. She had to practice moving and balancing on a line of wooden posts, After a point Theseus decided to up the training by having her dodge his attacks while moving on the posts. Theseus was particularly harsh for that part of training, pushing her to the limit. It was really exhausting.

She decided to explore a bit more before she headed home. She made her way through her lower city. She hadn't explored much of the city proper yet so she decided to start with the front gate. She made her way past the market square and all of the old statues of knights whose names she didn't know. Looking at the faces of ancient Hyperborean knights, she couldn't help but wonder if she could ever live up to these great figures, would she have gotten a statue alongside these ones if she had lived before the fall. She made her way past the broken and crumbling walls of the city. As she approached the large archway in front of the gate she couldn't help but marvel at the twin deer carved into the marble gate. Her wonder was so beautiful; she wished she could see it as it once was, in all of its glory. She made her was to the ruined bridge, she often wondered what exactly happened to the great stone bridge that left it in such a state.

She noticed something at the edge of the broken bridge. She made her way over to it, it was some kind of horn. It was made out of a pure white bone and was gilded with gold and various colored gems. The horn had a strap on it so it could be carried and it looked like it could be blown into. Hyperborea wondered what it was, it looked too important to just be some random piece of ancient trash. She decided that she would take it with her just in case it was something important to her wonder. She realized it was probably getting really late so she decided to head back before her roommate started to wonder where she went. So she focused on Earth and in a flash she was gone.
