At Large Prompt 1
Solo or RP Format Can be used toward Battle req (or RP req only if done with a friend) Solo word minimum is 500, RP post minimum is 7
It was bound to happen eventually.
With rumors of great beasts roaming the shores of Yael, many mainlanders flocked across the sea to capture the exotic beasts. In no time at all, they returned with large scaled monsters, dangerously translucent serpents, and turtles that carried the earth. These traders traveled across the Mainland to parade the beasts, going from Matori to Zena and everywhere between. Soon enough, everyone had either seen the Yaeli beasts or at least heard of them.
And they were sure to hear about the beasts when they escaped.
With such little knowledge of the foreign creatures, the traders underestimated the animals. In no time at all, the Yaeli beasts escaped into the wilderness and ended up near your location. With new creatures all but knocking on your door, what do you do? Do you dare to try and tame them, or do you run them off back into the wilderness? You better hurry, because these creatures are lost and scared, and are sure to cause some damage before they are captured once more....|| The Yaeli familiars have been spotted in the following locations: Tintural (Oba and Matori), Keldari (Jauhar/Chibale and Tale), Limbara (Sauti and Zena). Only individuals in set locations can encounter the specific familiars.
|| If you are located in Yael, respond to this prompt as if you witnessing a mainlander abducting one of the newly announced familiars. Do you step in or run away? Use the same rolls below, but instead of subduing the beast, you are rolling to test your success for freeing it.
This prompt will be resolved by each player rolling 1D100 to test their success. (You can only roll once - there are no reattempts!)
xxxxxPrentice must roll 60-100 to successfully subdue the beast. xxxxxStage 2 must roll 50-100 to successfully subdue the beast. xxxxxStage 3 must roll 40-100 to successfully subdue the beast xxxxxStage 4 must roll 30-100 to successfully subdue the beast.
|| Success or fail, completion of this event rewards you with 15 EXP!
|| If you roll a 95-100, you get to keep the familiar! Congrats! Volle: Kelidari

Vollerei woke up to the frantic squawking of her kinfa, Zweil. Grumbling to herself the large alkidike got up and stretched; “What’s got you all alarmed?” She called out to Zweil as she exited her bedroom and walked towards the front door of her small tree house.
Normally Zweil only acted that way when threatened… but since he’d grown up completely not much threatened him anymore! She would have been more worried except she didn’t hear anything else… and Zweil was not one to quietly let someone attack him! A person seeking to hurt or kidnap him would find out how lethal an adult kinfa was! And why kinfa hunters had to be very careful. When she looked out her door she saw him in the tree opposite of hers, hopping from leg to leg agitatedly.
She cocked and eyebrow and looked around; no body nearby….. “You had better not have woken me up for no reason feather brain!” She called out as she walked outside and around the veranda of her house. As eh got to one corner, where Zweil normally slept, her kinfa started screeching even louder… drawing a glare from her. “What is it fluff ball?”
She crouched down and looked closer; Zweil was overreacting over something. He might be a spoiled glutton that she should really be stricter with… but he didn’t set up a fuss like this for no reason! Her eyes widen as her antenna caught a slight motion within his small nest. She slunk closer and sat down, waiting until whatever was in there got used to her. Eventually a small serpentine head poked above the edge to look at her, tiny tongue flickering out.
“Aww.. its just a cute lil snake!” She said with a chuckle; how could Zweil have made such a fuss over it? One wrong step and the small thing would have died! He must not like snakes very much, she thought with amusement. She herself didn’t mind them… they were tasty too! If you got the ones with out poison! But this one... she eyed it, this one might be bad to eat. Seeing the bones through its skin made her feel odd. Like it was a ghost.
She knew what it was too; sisters who’d gone to Yeal (some to deliver letters to the exiled ones, some to just visit the place or even those who’d been there to deliver the banished ones) had told stories of the animals there. This one matched the definition rather well! A snake with stones whose skeleton you could see.
“Poor thing… so far from home… “She looked over at Zweil; “Get used to this one! I’m keeping it!” She smiled and her hadn lashed out to grab the snakes heads, grasping it firmly and pulling it out of her kinfa’s bed. “But you can’t stay there.. Zweil’s gotta have a safe nest!” It hissed and the long tail lashed around, she merely grabbed the tail and let it curl about one strong arm and held it to her as she walked back inside to make a smaller nest for it to live in. Hope it doesn’t eat maglardilla, she thought with amusement as she eyed her pet called Snack where it slept on her ceiling.
Fin!
+1 battle req, +1 familiar, +15 exp!
