Personality: Berlioz is a quiet and blunt type of person. He will openly tell you what he thinks regardless of what others feel. This is greatly shown when Command makes go on Co-op Missions. Outside of the workplace. It takes time but he can warm up to people.
Fears: Losing another partner, Not saving someone
Backstory: Berlioz entered as a Raven as a young child. Like many other kids, he was rescued from one of the many cities dotting the country. Unlike many of the other kids, Berlioz was alone when he was found. Raiders had found the small little group and killed everyone but the boy. It was at that moment, that two Raven AMS Pilots came to his rescue. The boy even in his fear, stared in awe of the machines. That was his first step towards being a Pilot. At 14, Berlioz entered the training school. He excelled in most areas but those that he didnt excel in, he nearly failed. Luckily for him, Piloting was his strongest skill. Having higher reflexes and situation awareness than most, Berlioz quickly rose to the tops of Piloting the more mobile Recon Type AMS's. At 22, Berlioz had many missions under his belt and was proving to be the best pilot out of all the Ravens. Having more Raider kills and rescues from Dark Zones, Berlioz had made it to the top Tiers of Pilots. One mission almost became his down fall and took his life.
During a Co-op mission with a fellow Raven, the two entered an area that distorted their navigation computers and the two entered a DEAD Zone. DEAD Zones were areas that held heavy Raider Activity and was dangerous even for skilled AMS Pilots. The two were ambushed and Berlioz's partner was taken down from an explosive trap. With a Disabled AMS, the girl exited the Mech and took cover in her disabled AMS. Berlioz and the girl fought hard and Berlioz's AMS was starting to take more and more damage. It was then that his Partner knew that they wouldnt make it out of this alive if they stayed any longer. Every Armored Mobile Suit has a self-destruct sequence. This would prevent Raiders from obtaining any heavy weapons. The during the fight, the girl took a hit that was fatal, but before she died, She hit the self destruct and told Berlioz to run. Berlioz couldnt believe this was happening and started to retreat. Next thing he knew, a giant explosion knocked his AMS down and he and the machine went dark. The entire city block was leveled to the ground and formed where his partner was last seen. After the systems rebooted and Berlioz was able to make it back to the FOB, he wasn't the same. Traumatized by the event, he refused to go on any mission where others were involved, never wanting to see them die. Two years later and Berlioz still hasnt gotten over the nightmares.
