She was so nervous. Yet so excited. This was, well, her fist date ever. Sort of. There was that one guy she kinda had a crush on before. But Magiore hadn't approved and showed up with her. Brothers! So the 'date' never actually happened. But tonight was a different matter. Unless she stood up the poor guy. Which she couldn't bring herself to do. Because she had signed up for this match making thing. It had sounded like a good idea! And beat pretending that Valentine's didn't actually exist.

Magiore would probably kick her butt if he knew about all this...

Kodi twisted her hair up in a nice ponytail and added a red floral clip. Her gaze caught on the red envelope again, and the white note that lay on her bed. Where a certain corgi regarded her with an indifferent expression.

"So... not this outfit, huh?" She just got a snort in response. Going through her closet again, she finally gave up on trying to dress for something more formal then her usual wear (she was nervous, okay, and didn't know what exactly one wore to arranged dates!) and hunted down some orange and red patterned leggings. A simple grey tank top and a black jacket followed this. And last but not least, she snatched an orange scarf for good measure.

"There!" She looked at herself in the mirror, happy with what she saw. Thorin, of course, glowered as this meant she was going to leave him all alone. Kodi made sure to give him extra pets and treats before she grabbed her purse, tickets, and invitation. Taking a deep breath, she set out on her way to the museum.

Once she actually arrived at the museum of art, a small moment of panic gripped her. What if her date didn't show up?! Or it was some really hairy and smelly guy? Oh fudge! She took a few minutes to breathe outside before sucking it up and courageously entering the museum. And then she was taken aback by the museum itself. She stared in wonder, not really seeing the other people milling about as she began wandering the halls. Checking her phone, it was just turning 6:55 p.m. Right. So where was she supposed to go again? Reaching into her purse she pulled out the note again. Second floor. Antique Dog Collars exhibit. That sounded kinda cool!

It took her several more minutes to actually get to the exhibit she was to meet her date at - there was a lot of stuff to look at! - but she finally made it. And then found herself with her nose inches from the display cases as she looked at the antique dog collars they held.
