[[ This Rp is for Kesmi's Avalon and Rein-Carnation's Celendria ]] Winter had come to the southern plains just as the cloud whisperers had said. In its wake would come the spring and new life reborn. But for now the lands needed rest, the summer had been fruitful for the many and the winter supplies a plenty. This brought happiness to the blue and white mare as she walked down the snow swept hollows. The trees bore the white of their snow blankets. Light blue eyes turned upwards as the grey clouds as another bout of flakes were threatening to fall.
"Everything is calm here." The mare muttered to herself as the wind blew through her long mane, buffeting it over her shoulders. "But something is missing. But what?"
Shaking her head, Avalon walked sure footed through the drifts that rose past her hocks. Walking ever westward, following the path of the clouds. The wind at her back blowing her mane a head of her, her braided tail brushing against her flank. Something was drawing her in this direction, but what? Something that made her heart sing a higher note then she had ever heard.
"Could it be?" The mare murmured before she was accompanied by a lighter colored goat. Still its coat shown a blue hue, blue as the frozen ponds. It too was graced by the mark of winter. "SnowDrop, do you feel it? The calling?"The goat looked at the mare as it shook its horned head. Its crystal horns shimmering in the dull light from above and its companion's own horn. "I feel not a thing, but if there is something, then you must follow it." Was all the answer the goat gave before following the mare. "Just don't leave me behind!" it scampered, hooves churning up the snow in the mare's wake to catch up. Thankfully it was easy, Avalon was never in any hurry.

As the snow was falling upon the lands back a glistening form overtook everything in beauty. This was the time of year most animals lied nestled away for a few months while the world lay in a defining silence. Only a select few dared step out in Winter's Majesty and live to tell about it. The heaviest had come overnight leaving a blanket nearly feet deep. It was mesmerizing and beautiful all in the same when you looked outward and saw nothing but a sea of white that sent shivers through your spine. This particular day though was calm with a light snowfall that waltzed toward the ground like a seasonal ballet. The winds weren't too strong and the remaining birds who didn't fly South for the winter hopped along the snow. A mare colored in the icy hues of winter stepped easily through the snow taking white steps as it curled around her legs and body like a loving child embracing the one they loved. She stopped then swiveled her ears listening to the wind. Something was calling her, a pull toward something unknown yet her heart whispered something more.
Once again she began walking in an unknown direction, her nostrils taking in the scents around her. Again she started moving again as she took in a breath. Now she was sure her senses were correct the calling was indeed strong. Now she moved a bit faster as her long mane brushed along side her causing her silhouette to appear as if it had wings that could carry her far away. She paused once more in her observation then nodded her head.
"It's time Amadahy. She's coming", the ice mare spoke her eyes never looking anywhere but in front of her.
The little wolf had to keep up with the mare as she stopped and resumed her journey for the day. She did make a good path though to walk behind but her movements in the snow caused the female to hop here and there. She whimpered when an ice shard pricked her tender paw but she followed in suit behind the ice mare. "Feel what? My paws are frozen there's so much". She yelped this time with a growl feeling a little distraught the winter was this thick. Her belly was carrying precious cargo which she made sure not to disrupt though she herself was having a horrible time till the mare stopped. Wiggling her way through the mare's legs she noted a stump and dug around it till it was clear enough to sit upon.

With the wind ever tugging, guiding the mare in a certain direction. Avalon never questioned it, the wind had never led her astray. Even now, she walked at times with her eyes closed, listening to the song that sang to her. The song grew steadily louder the closer she came to her journey's end. Even as the snow swirled, the song called louder then the cold itself.
"We're getting there SnowDrop." Avalon said with great joy, pushing forward through the deepening snow.
The goat, SnowDrop she was named, chugged along behind the mare, Following the path she was taking, her small hooves kicking up bits of snow themselves. Was this journey really what they needed now? When the seasons were coming to high and the cold was bound to grow colder? Well of course it seemed to be. SnowDrop never questioned the mare much, taking stuff in stride as it were.
"The sooner the better. I can't feel my hooves anymore." she wasn't one to complain, but she wanted to get somewhere dry and not so snow covered.
Avalon laughed at the goat who glared at her back before stopping abruptly. Someone was there, someone familiar. Holding head head high, eyes slightly narrowed through the dim of the grey and snow swirled world. Avalon advanced slowly, the glow from her horn lighting the way, slowly someone came into sight. The figure merged with the snow and luser of winter as well as she herself did. Was this the one that she had been drawn to?
"Sister." was all that Avalon could muster herself to say as she stood there watching the older mare not mere feet away from her. Celendria, the eldest of the three sisters. "I have finally found my way home."

As the snow blew around her like a calm frozen rain she waited with patience and adoring hope. Lady winter was almost as remarkable as the ocean from what the elder learned from the water stallion known as Mizu. She was cruel an unknowing at times yet gentle as a surf that could rock a grown child into slumber. Closing her eyes she listened to the music of the season and breathed it in deeply. Nothing had ever contented her more then the moment winter arrived. Spring was reviving as Summer was alive though warm to the senses. Fall brought sorrow and yet beauty as the season bowed in Lady Winter's presence. She was like a queen that breathed the very essence into the world painted in a rich landscape of crystallized water. And for this the ice mare was thankful standing still as the trees with only her silken tresses dancing in the swirling wind.
As she opened her eyes again she noted the smaller female coming towards her with a familiar in tow not too far behind. Nodding she stepped forward so her form was against her shivering companion. "There Amadahy. She comes" she breathed with a sense of pride and happiness as her warmth flowed into the wolf's very being. This wolf had chose to follow her through many adventures be they positive or negative. Never had she stayed until she was found one night with pups growing in her belly. The elder was thankful she'd stayed even in her condition. For loyalty was the greatest element between two friends along with love.
"You are home sister.... Welcome" the elder mare's eyes shown crystal blue as she nodded to her sibling, "It's been a long time hasn't it... Avalon" her words were deep as the frozen raised canvas around her. Oh how she wanted to embrace her as tears flowed freely letting her soul come alive and fly. Her heart though whispered her their brother's name letting it drift along the swirling snow.
"That is the one you were waiting for?" the little wolf asked with a tilt of the head. As the little unicorn appeared the wolf's blue eyes grew wider, "She does resemble Frosta and you. Wasn't there another?" So many questions she had but in time the little wolf that was born in a gray coat would get her questions answered.
"So many questions lil one. Yes Amadahy this is Avalon. As Frosta she is my sister as Celenduin is my brother. There is many answers I myself seek as do my siblings. Only my brother knows what happened all those years ago. Till then the appearance of Avalon brings hope we are all alive after all this time."
Her voice was distant yet it was full of vibrance and nurturing love. Her brother and her were the eldest whereas Frosta and Avalon were the youngest. Their parents were a mystery but yet Celendria knew they were born of flesh and blood like most Soquili.

Avalon watched the older, slightly taller mare come closer to her, it certainly had been a while since she had laid eyes on her siblings. They were all but foals at the time, their mother dying from an attack. Their father frolicking away to see another mare. These are memories she had buried deep in her mind, frozen in the back. Now seeing her elder sister, being a literal Elder in rank, Avalon couldn't help but feel like she had missed so much of her life.
"It is good to be home, sister." Avalon nodded as she tilted her head to one side noting the wolf that laid heavy with pup at her sister's side. "Sure it is wise to allow your companion to be out in these conditions?" There was worry in her voice, one that made her a bit itchy in the hoof. She glanced back at the goat that stood close to her. Its own blue coat matching slightly to her own. "Sorry that was out of line..."
Avalon glanced away, a faint blush rising over her face as she felt foolish. She was always the one to worry about those around her more then herself. White tail flicking behind her, she glanced back at Celendria and her wolf companion. If anything they all should find a more sheltered area for all their sake. Though for now, Avalon had an awkward, but wonderful, feeling about coming back to the family she lost all those years ago.
