The night was long, but Cadmus kept his word. He remained by Etamin's side when he decided to use the crystal on himself and, while the pink-haired chibi was bored to sleep himself and even felt himself losing to the pull of fatigue, forced himself awake by pinching and twisting the skin on his arm. Drew had asked him to keep vigil and until he knew it was all right, only then would he take him home.
Yet the boy's worries floundered. He knew the affects of the crystal on others and while it was said to stop when it reached its peak, using it on oneself was still a daunting task Cadmus found close to self-harm. So it wasn't long until the chibi dragged his elder brother in tow homeward bound, grumbling all the way.
"Yeesh, bro, you weigh a ton," the boy said as he shifted his weight on his shoulder. "Could care to lose a few pounds or something."

Drew mumbled a few incomprehensible words, and then snored. drooling all over Caelum. Finally, he tried to suck on Caelum's upper ear. Unoderi It is fine. Hope you don't mine me having a little fun? twisted lol whee

Cadmus has been so caught up on bumbling and grumbling that he wasn't aware there was rain. Or, at least, he thought he felt rain.
Wet, sticky rain.
Gurk.
When he put two and two together to make fish, the boy revolted in such a way that he just dropped Drew onto the ground. Patting a hand to the back of his neck and looking at the male, Cadmus couldn't hold back his embarrassment.
"W-w-w-what the heck, man?!" he cried aloud. "Y-y-you were drooling on me and m-my e-ear, why would y-you...?! Asdfkdf;lkdlkj."

Drew hit the ground. He stopped drooling, but was now crying in his sleep. He started sucking his thumb, and that seemed to help - just a bit. Every so often he'd slipped his thumb out of his mouth and say, "Dria, you're so near to me. Dria! No! Don't go!"

Cadmus's features softened when he heard Drew's silent pleas for Dria. Feeling a tad guilty for dropping the comatose male, the chibi squatted down to his haunches and places a hand on his brother's shoulder.
"Hang in there, dude," he said. "We'll find her. I don't know how or anything, but I have faith that we will. Now up we go."
Pulling up Drew by his arm again, Cadmus began his steady descent back to his house once more.

Cadmus winced. Just what in the world did I agree to, the boy thought as he gave a side glance to Drew.
Thankfully, Cadmus didn't have to drag the black-haired male around much longer when he noticed his brother's house come into view. As stealthily and as quiet a thirteen year old could be dragging around a teen much taller and heavier than he, Cadmus managed to bring Drew's body to the back of the house. Gazing up, he saw a window to which he could enter, and pleaded for the life in him that it belonged to Drew.
He made a hop for the ledge near it, but nearly lost his footing (as was always the case when the boy tried to jump; he could just not land those attempts) and instead stumbled back. Quickly, he clutched onto the window, and found himself barely perched on the ledge and holding a dangling Drew two stories from the ground.
"S-s**t!" he cried. "J-just what kinda crap is this?!"

Drew settled down and was now sleeping deeply. It was as if he sensed his own bed nearby. Unoderi Cadmus is a very good friend, to deal with all this. smile
|

Cadmus let out a sigh. Gently, he hoisted up his friend, pushed his window open, and rolled him onto his bed. After tucking him in, the pink-haired boy nodded his head.
"Have a good sleep, bro," he said. "I'll see you tomorrow or something."
With that, the boy exited the way he entered and made off on the rooftops towards home and his own bed.
