 Fig was expecting a visitor today, so he occupied himself with keeping busy in his dorm. He lightly watered the plants in the small containers along his window sill, turning them so that light would come in at a new angle, and wrapped it up by running a knuckle oh so gently along stems or leaves. A sort of little ritual for tending his little plants. There, they were all taken care of for the day. Having worked on some homework that morning, there wasn't any of that left, so the Fey was left to his own devices. Baby plants were taken care of, his dorm was predominantly straight save for some papers or books here and there, all the things that needed doing were essentially done. Since it was still very cold out, especially evening was falling, Fig had it a mite warmer than usual. Not uncomfortably so, lest his company be uncomfortable, just enough so he could actually move about in less than three layers.
Turning about the middle of his room, the fey hummed thoughtfully. What to do while he waited? His gaze drifted over his mandolin case, a smile slowly spread across his face. That would do perfectly! Collecting his instrument, testing a few chords to see if it was still in tune, Fig settled back on the edge of his bed, and began to play an old favorite song of his, one of the first songs he was able to play all the way through without having to double check the sheet music. In addition to being quite a proud moment for the young lunar fey, the ditty always managed to make him smile.

 Carmine arrived at Fig's dorm and knocked on his door. She was excited about seeing Fig again, she had finished his sweater and scarf and wanted to give them to him. She smiled she had knitted both with care, she liked Fig a great deal. She had knitted the set in burnt orange and a warm red (I think that's what I said in the orp..) She waited for him to answer the door, hoping things would continue between Fig and her, she wanted to get to know Fig better and see if he wanted the same thing she wanted. Did he want a family?? Would he want to just be with her or form a trio?? So many thoughts ran around Camrine's head, but she wouldn't figure any of them out until Fig opened the door.

The Fey absently played his instrument, his hands working practically on muscle memory, as he watched his two new familiars getting used to each other and their surroundings. Urdin, his blue tone fluffbug had been exploring his bookcase when Azura, his blue and white female vespercat pounced playfully sending both buzzing and gliding to the floor. After some light tussling, they two seemed to be settling down, nestled against one another on the area rug on the floor. Fig shook his head with a chuckle. "Good to see you two getting along," He commented before refocusing on his mandolin. His focus was short lived however when there came a knock at his door. Ah! There she was! The disturbance also broke the brief peace between the two familiars. Azura sprung up to perch on a windowsill and Urdin climbed up onto his desk, both doing so to get a better view of who was at the door. Setting his instrument into its case, Fig padded over to the door. Opening the door, he smiled, giving her a bit of a hug in greeting. "Ah, Cam! Good to see you made it okay. Welcome, welcome. I hope you didn't have any trouble finding my place. Come on in!" He stepped aside and swept an arm towards the interior of his dorm.Midnightglow18 ((I do believe those were the colors you said in the ORP, to match his color palette.))

Camrine smiled at Fig as he opened the door, "I found you fine" she said in a cheerful tone. Camrine walked into Fig's dorm and looked around curiously taking in the site of his familiars playing on the floor, Cam laughed and said "Cute" Then she turned back to Fig and said "So so you want to go out and have some fun??" Cam asked curiously and directly, Camrine wasn't really the shy type after all and she wanted to hang out with Fig more. Camrine was still thinking about how to ask Fig if he wanted a family, she took a deep breath and decided to just ask, before she got her hopes up about Fig and then had her heart broken, when he told her he didn't want kids. "I know this is a really forward to fast question, but do you want kids?? Because I have my heart set on them, and if our relationship is going somewhere serious, it's important to me.." Cam blushed at her own bold question. (I think I did red and burnt orange or something like that??)

"Excellent," Fig chimed, closing the door behind the imp as she began to explore his dorm. "Aren't they? They've been having a field day with each other since they got here. I'm glad they get along together. It'd tear me up if they did nothing but fight." Rolling his sleeves down his arms, he paused when Cam asked her question. A slow easy grin broke out across his features. "Well, sure! I've done everything there is to do here. Let me bundle up a little bit and we can go paint the town." He had changed into the sweater she had made him upon returning from the festival, all he really needed to do was add another layer or two. Opting for a cream colored scarf and a navy overcoat, he pat his now insulated torso. "If you don't have anything specific in mind, I could think of a place or two I wouldn't mind taking you to." Before she answered, Cam seemed to get a bit more serious, anxious perhaps. The lunar fey furrowed his brow at the start of her windup, but quickly relaxed again at the nature of her inquiry. Her blushing at her own boldness made him chuckle. It was a cute reaction! "I have always wanted to have kids. My mom and mother wouldn't let me hear the end of it if I didn't give them at least one grandbaby to spoil rotten. I've never been of the mind to just have them all willy-nilly, you see. I wanted to find someone I could be serious about, maybe even marry, before bringing children into the world." He paused letting his answer hang in the air a moment, for it to sink in or do whatever answers to serious questions do. "If that answers your question for now, do you need to get changed or need anything before we hit the town? I'm thinking dinner and dancing...Or dancing and dinner, whichever you would prefer to go first." Midnightglow18 ((Yep, that's right! Got it to him in the ORP and he's wearing the sweater to the date~ Also, the reveal that he has two moms! What what! x3 ))

Cam smiled and said "That's great." she said cheerfully. Camrine smiled brightly when Fig agreed to go out with her. Then she waited for him to get his stuff so they could go out. She smiled brightly seeing he was wearing the gifts she had given him. "They look great on you Fig" she said warmly. Cam grinned and said "We can go where ever you like dinner, dancing??" Cam blushed deeper "Hey don't laugh, it's important to me.." Camrine sighed with relief and hugged Fig. "Thank goodness." Camrine laughed "That is really great, I came from a really big family, so lots of kids and lots of grandparents playing would be wonderful." Camrine said kissing Fig's cheek. Camrine blushed "And who do you imagine marrying??" She asked curiously. Cam shook her head and said "Come on let's go have fun!!" Camrine thought a moment and said "Let's dance, then go to dinner."

Appreciatively running a hand over his sweater, Fig nodded. "They fit like a dream and I don't have any trouble getting in or out of them. You did a really amazing job on them." Dinner and dancing was just about as perfect an activity could be, in his book. Not too long after his arrival in Below he had spent an afternoon or two researching places to go and activities of interest. He had found a dance hall that had some themed dance nights throughout the week and a couple of free dancing nights when there wasn't an event or themed night going on.The fey had to bite his lip to prevent himself from breaking into a light laugh at the deepening of Camrine's blushing. He shook his head and hooked his arms around her, placing a kiss on her temple. "No offense meant, Cam. I just think it's cute that you're turning about as pink as your hair." He tittered, brushing a rosy curl away from her face. Uncurling his arms, Fig grinned as he leaned back to look to her curiously. "Just how big is this family of yours? Do you have many siblings or loads of cousins, or just yes, lots of everything?" A smile spread across his face at the kiss to his cheek. He quirked a brow at her inquiry and let the question go unanswered as she pushed it off for the time being. "Dancing then dinner definitely works for me. Let's go. I know just the place. It's a little ways from here, but well worth the trek. I'll lead the way." The Fey held the door open for her and turned off his lights.Midnightglow18 ((Shall we gloss over the actual walking to the place or include it as well?))

Cam smiled warmly and said. "I'm so glad." Camrine blushed, she loved hearing her work was comfortable for Fig to wear, she would have been heartbroken if he hadn't like the sweater and scarf. Camrine could have died of happiness when Fig showed her affection, she adored him, even though it was still early. Camrine laughed and said "That's no fair with your skin tone I'll likely never know if you ever blush." she said sticking out her tongue at him. Camrine laughed "I have 5 siblings and 15 cousins. What about you?? Do you have any siblings??" Camrine followed along with Fig as they walked together to the dance hall. Cam likely the idea of dancing first, it made more sense to her, then dancing after dinner. Camrine wore a pretty, but casual outfit for their date, a simple purple dress that went to her knees and comfortable shoes. Cam smiled as they arrived at the dance hall excited to get to dance with Fig for the first time.

"They'll definitely be a cold weather staple for me." Fig grinned at her and shook his head. "Ah, you may yet. Though I am pretty dark, I am capable of showing color. Don't worry. You'll know when you see it," He said with bumping her Camrine playfully with his hip. As they drew near to the dance hall, the fey gave a thoroughly impressed whistle at the imp's answer for the size of her family, blood family anyway. "My gracious! My direct family isn't quite so sizeable. I have two younger siblings and five cousins. My people adopt friends as 'family' as well, but otherwise my direct family is a relatively small unit. My mothers had me and then married my dryad step-parent when I was around seven. My younger siblings are turning eight years old in a few months." Opening the door for her, he sighed at the music that drifted out the door to greet them. "So, Cam, do you have any dance experience? We can start slow if we need to. It's tango and salsa night, but they do have some breaks for ballroom and swing dance." He totally didn't research and shop around, not at all.

Camrine smiled brightly at Fig, she loved so much that he like her gift to him. Camrine giggled wondering what it would take to make Fig blush. Carmine smiled "Your family sounds nice" Cam said warmly. Camrine shook her head "I sorta know how to dance, but not very well. Will you show me??" Cam asked shyly a little nervous about such a fast active dance, being Fig and Camrine's first dance together, but she trusted Fig to take the lead. Cam smiled "I'm willing to try them all if your willing to teach me."

"Ah, I'll have to show you a picture or two when we get back from being out and about. They're good folks. You'd like them, I think." Cam's answer drew a gasp from him and Fig clapped his hands together. "Well, my dear, I will be delighted to show you and I find a good way to learn is to do. We'll take it slow and we can start out with the slower dances. We can sort of claim a corner and I'll show you ballroom basics. Once those are nailed down, the same basics can be used to develop skills in other types of dances." During his answer, his enthusiasm for this particular sort of activity was evident, gesturing emphatically with his hands. Clearing his throat and folding his wings behind him, Fig swept a hand toward a less populated section of the dance floor, escorting Cam out that way. Once there, he turned to face her, his posture straight though natural. "A good thing to note is how to carry yourself. Pull your core comfortably in, relax, but not to the point of being all noodle-y, and try to keep more on the balls of your feet, that way it's easier to flow from direction to another, or one step to another." Assuming this position himself, drew Cam a little closer but kept easy space for moment and room for easy gesturing for teaching. "For stance, for you, one hand rests on my shoulder or upper arm, bicep area, wherever is comfortable for you, and your other hand should rest on mine. My hand, aside from the one you hold, shall rest on your waist. Since I'm assuming the lead, and you're the more passive partner, I'll be sort of steering you. Mirror my movements, and I'll take it slow." That being said, he gave a little nod and began to take his impish date through a few slower dances. "Let me know if you need a break or a drink of water, or, if you feel like you're ready for a little bit of a quicker pace, I can ask for one of the more beginner tangos. Plus, tango warrants a little further closeness."

Camrine smiled and said "I would love that." Cam was excited about the idea of being close to Fig, getting to know him, allowing him to teach her something new and getting a chance to be in his arms was the best thing in the world. "I'm ready." Cam said sweetly, thrilled to be doing this with Fig. Cam went with Fig to a quiet spot where he could begin to teach her his moves. Camrine giggled at the thought and the other moves she wanted to see some time. Cam smiled and followed Fig's directions enjoying touching him and feeling the movements of the dance steps with someone she was quickly falling in love with. Though Cam wasn't sure if she was ready to tell Fig that. Cam blushed when Fig mentioned more closeness and she nodded "I think I'd like that." she said in a shy tone.

"Wonderful!" Fig was just delighting in the act of dancing and helping teach some dances to Cam. She was a quick study, really a wonderful, capable dance partner. The fey had to keep reeling himself back in lest he got carried away and sort of swept Camrine off into some dance she wasn't prepared for. After the basics were out of the way and his Impish date agreeing to trying an easy tango. Practically bobbing on the balls of his feet, Fig nodded. "Alright. I'll be right back. I shall request us a song. It's perfect timing too since this song that they have playing is winding down. Don't go anywhere," With that he turned to step away before seeming to rock back on the foot he hadn't lead off with. "Unless you need to grab a glass of water or use the restroom, obviously. A-anyway, I'll be right back!" He flashed an excited grin and practically jogged off over towards the person operating the sound system.
It was a brief exchange, but then again it didn't need to be lengthy. He returned to their portion of the dance floor. Looking over his shoulder as the one song faded and the song he chose began drift through the speakers. "Well, my dear, let's give this a go. " Quietly, so as not to disturb nearby dancers, he walked her through the first few rounds of the dance, holding her closer, instead of the near foot of distance between them for the prior dances, holding his rosy haired date against him for the close turns, twists, and dips. "You dance wonderfully," Fig enthused softly to Camrine as the song began to wind down. "I'm really happy to have taken you here. I really hope you're having fun as much fun as I am." He laughed warmly as he dipped her as the song's strains faded. "Shall we wrap up here and maybe grab a bite to eat? I'm starting to feel a mite peckish," The fey asked as he drew her up to right Cam upon her feet with a subtle fluttering of his wings behind him.

Camrine smiled brightly, so happy in Fig's arms, this date was so wonderful, she couldn't even begin to express how much this made her heart fill for Fig. Camrine blinked when Fig wandered off, she nervously fussed with her dress wondering if Fig thought she had been dancing alright, she hadn't stepped on his feet so that was a good thing, he was an amazing teacher. Cam took the moment to go and get a drink and cool her nerves. So many feelings swirled in her heart, much like her body and twirled around the dance floor in Fig's arms. Cam blushed she loved this dance, being so close to Fig sent her heart thundering and her blood pumping. Camrine smiled "Thank you, I had an amazing sweet teacher." Cam laughed. As the dance ended and Fig mentioned dinner, Cam said a little breathless "This night has been amazing, and I would love to go to dinner with you Fig, let's go." Cam said warmly

With Cam's agreement that dinner was in order, the fey offered his lovely impish date an arm and escorted her from the still lively dance hall towards a nearby restaurant. "I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying yourself. No doubt, I'd never hear the end of it if I were to fail to be an entertaining dance instructor." Fig wrinkled his nose and grinned, leaning over to speak in a quieter, mock secretive tone. "My roster is pretty free, soooo if you find yourself wanting another lesson I'm sure we can get something going." He gave Cam a wink with a nod of his head before straightening to his full height. "I hope this place is okay. I've been before, but never for dinner. They've got some varied fare, but nothing that may be too heavy in my experience." Opening the door for her as they arrived, he indicated to the hostess that it was just the two of them dining.
A waitress lead them to a booth next to a window and left a pair of menus. Fig remained standing until Cam chose her seat so that he could sit across from her. Producing her note pad the litch waitress inquired after what drinks the two would like, easily rattling off drink specials for the night, with hot mulled cider, hot cocoa, warm wine with mulling spices, and hot toddies being featured for the night. "Ooh, I think I'd like to try that hot mulled wine, and could I get a glass of water as well? How about you, Cam?" He looked to her from across a now open menu. "Would you like to order food now or after we get our drinks?"
