"I've gotten along just fine without it, Puck." She said as she walked along the retaining wall of the park, her arms out and one booted foot placed carefully in front of the other. "I mean, its cool and all? But I don't see the big deal. I can power down if I really need to call someone, right?"
She spun on one foot and came back again, balancing carefully.
There were, honestly, a lot of things the cat that awakened Eros had failed to tell her. It wasn't entirely his fault, though... she had, at the time, been convinced she was on a really bad trip from smoking some weed laced with LSD. Sometimes, she almost wondered if she'd never come down from one, because life had taken a decidedly weird turn after that night in the subway.
Eros eyed her friend with his phone in his hand, her eyes studying the line of his jaw and his honey brown eyes. She liked his eyes. And his jaw. And lots of other things. It was nice to be on speaking terms with Puck again... she'd missed him pretty terribly after their fight. Things were better at home, for the most part. She was trying to be better, which should count for something. Nothing was going to be magically better over night, but she was trying.
