Lysithea hadn’t been out since she had rescued Sanidine. She hadn’t done what he asked yet, she hadn’t started investigating who had orcastrated the capture of all of the people from the negaverse…and honestly she hadn’t even wanted to start. She figured if the people were so brazen to attack people who belonged to chaos…they would be brazen enough to take care of one little super senshi who didn’t want to keep quiet about it.
But she was out tonight, wondering near the library, just letting her mind wander as she kicked at a little pile of graying snow and sighed. Oh well. There was just too much to think about right now. So much. First there was the alien guy with the crystals and then there was the people who were hurting others…
She wished she could just find something to take her mind off of things.
And then she seemed to find something, freezing in her tracks. It was a strong aura from someone on the side of chaos…and if they were angry about the hostages…
Well. She was in trouble.
She looked around, trying to figure out if there was a place she could hide, a place she could run to…but at the same time, it felt like her legs had gone numb.

She left clues.
After her attack on Sinistra, Painite had gone through the city, leaving a trail of small spots of blood, hoping to find Merlinite and lead him back to Sinistra before she bled out or froze to death in the park. It did not really matter if he found her in time or not, as she imagined there was nothing she would be able to do, anyway.
She just would enjoy it more if he managed to get there in time to watch her die. The message would be so much stronger that way.
He found the scent of the blood and followed it, as she had wanted, but she could not hang around to see it. He found Sinistra in the park, huddled up, shivering and covered in blood from the wound he could all but recognize as from Painite's spear. It was getting too common a sight for him.
"Just hold on a little longer," he told her, though he had no idea what he could do to help her. He didn't want to move her, afraid any sudden movement would kill her immediately, and where would he go? What could a monster do? He couldn't take her to the hospital. Maybe to Camelot? But the library was so far away, and that big aura of his was no where to be felt. He did, however, pick up on another aura, not too far away.
Looking at Sinistra hesitantly, he took a breath and hurried away from her, leaping has fast as his four legs could take him toward the aura. He spotted the source and a wave of relief hit him immediately as he realized he not only knew the Senshi, but she could help him.
"Lysithea!"

The senshi jumped half a foot into the air and she turned towards the sudden shout of her name. Upon seeing the half youma, her shoulders sagged with relief. “Merlinite! Hi! How have you been? It’s been forever!”
All of her fear had pretty much evaporated, and the only thing that was left was an unimaginable joy at seeing the dragon man again. She hadn’t realized just how much she missed him. “Have you been okay? I know some strange things have been going on, and I’m so glad to see you’re okay.”
She paused, frowning slightly. “…Are you okay? You look really worried…what’s going on? What happened?” Had he been taken captive too? Had he only just got away...was he hurt?

Merlinite did not really take the time to answer her questions. He instead moved toward her, barely slowing from his hurried pace that brought him there.
"You have to come with me," he said, and hoisted her up by taking careful hold of her waist and hoisting her up over his shoulder. The one without the wing attached to it, just so she didn't end up with a face full of wing scales. He carried her over his shoulder like that, as if kidnapping her, except his gentle hold was a clear indicator that he had no wicked intentions.
He was just relocating her.
He took her to the tree where he left Sinistra resting. The Senshi was still unconscious, still except for the stilted, spaced rise and fall of her chest. She was pale from cold and blood loss, and Merlinite put Lysithea down nearby the Senshi of Brooms.
"I hate that we keep meeting up like this, but... but can you help me?"
He remembered what ended up happening the last time he asked her to heal someone. That same someone turned out to be a horrible creature that, in turn, transformed him into a more literally horrible creature. But this was different. This was a senshi, not someone in the negaverse. The white moon had to help the white moon!
"Painite got to her, because of me. Please!"

She didn’t protest much when she was lifted, in fact she didn’t make any sound, safe for a soft gasp of surprise. Lysithea knew Merlinite. She trusted him. There was no harm going to come to her from this gentle hearted, although fearsome looking creature.
When let her down, and she saw the senshi lying on the ground her eyes widened and she rushed over, hardly even hearing what the half youma had to say. “Lysithea Healing Horn!” The attack was murmured softly and the energy horn was placed right against Sinisstra’s stomach. The attack started to work at once and the senshi was relieved to see the wound shrinking at least a little.
Painite had done this? Painite…the one that turned Merlinite into a monster…the one that…
She swallowed, unable to look at Merlinite for a minute. She was thinking some horrible thigns that she knew she shouldn’t be thinking…but when she saw people like this, saw poor senshi with holes in their stomach. Maybe the senshi that had captured some of the scumbags had the right idea…maybe that was the only way to deal with some of the horrible people in the Negaverse…not the good ones…not like Merlinite and Sanidine…but the ones like Painite. The real monsters.
When the attack faded she gave a sigh and looked up at the general, one hand going to Sinistra’s forehead, brushing some of her hair out of her face. “I’ve done all I can for now…”

Merlinite watched as Lysithea set to healing Sinistra, clasping his claws together anxiously without really noticing it. He was also swinging his tail rather enthusiastically around behind him, the heavy limb thudding against the soft ground as he tensely watched the magical show.
When the magic ended, Merlinite could see that the wound had closed up a bit, and the bleeding had slowed. There was more color in Sinistra's face, so he could only assume that some of the inner damage had been healed as well. He breathed a sigh of relief, nodding his head and stepping forward carefully.
"Thank you..."
Sinistra grimaced as she slowly woke up, blinking awake slowly and looking around. things were blurry and she was very confused, feeling weak and cold, but it was better than she thought would happen. She vividly remembered what happened, the Negaverse General and her spear, but could not figure out how she managed to survive.
Then she noticed the half youma and the senshi leaning over her, and took in a sharp breath.
"Wha...?" she tried to ask, but she felt dizzy and couldn't quite get the words out.
"Should I take her to the hospital still," merlinite asked, worrying about the young senshi of brooms. It was his fault this happened to her, and he was beginning to think he was nothing but bad luck for the white moon.

“You know I’ll do anything to help you, Merlinite. That’s what friends are for…and don’t you think I’ve forgotten about my promise to you…one day I’ll save you too, just you wait. I’m going to find a way.”
Lysithea looked down at the senshi and gave a small little smile. “Don’t talk, honey. You’ve been hurt pretty badly. My name is Sailor Lysithea, and Merlinite here brought me to help you…my attack heals people, and that’s a pretty good thing if you ask me, especially since you looked pretty bad there…just rest now, I’ll take care of you.”
She glanced back at the half youma general and shook her head. “I’ll take care of her, I’ll take her back to my place, and then I’ll heal her again tomorrow…she should be okay enough to get to my house…I can take care of her. I’m sure she’ll be okay…I’ll make sure she’s okay…and Merlinite…I despise Painite, and I’m going to make sure she dies one of these days, I swear that too.”

"I know you will. And I really appreciate all the help you've given me so far, I really do. I have to pay you back, one day, of everything. Especially for this. You saved her life."
He watched her as she spoke to Sinistra, his expression worried and relieved at once. He knew that he could trust Lysithea, and that Sinistra would live now, but that didn't mean he had to stop worrying. He just wanted her to be completely okay, because all of this was his fault.
And now he had to go back out there and get some revenge of his own.
Sinistra nodded her head, understanding most of what the unfamiliar senshi was saying. She remembered being attacked, and had not really had enough time to feel the fear that warranted. Tears filled her eyes and she found herself quickly having trouble breathing, hitting a panic almost immediately. A sob escaped her throat and she reached for Lysithea, who was closer than Merlinite.
She just needed a hug.
Merlinite nodded his head, watching as the poor hurt senshi clung to the super.
"I'll take care of Painite," Merlinite growled, "you take care of Sinistra."

“You can repay me by taking care of yourself, Merlinite. If I find out that you got hurt, and I have to heal you both, well I just won’t have any of my own energy left for anything now will I?” Her voice was slightly stern, but held so much concern in it. Lysithea looked down at the frightened senshi and kissed her forehead. “You’re going to be okay, Sinistra.” She murmured, taking the name that Merlinite said to be the name of this senshi. “I’m going to make everything okay. You just trust me, I’m going to be right here for you.”
With a glance at Merlinite, Lysithea stood up, leaning down and scooping Sinistra a little awkwardly into her arms. “Seriously, if I find out that Painite hurt you, while you were taking care of her, I’m going to be annoyed as hell, and I’ll find you and bring you back and do terrible things to you to show how angry I am. I love you, Merlinite, so please just be careful.”
She seemed to be saying that a lot lately. That she loved people on the side of chaos.
Being a senshi was so complicated sometimes.

He moved to help Lysithea pick up Sinistra, the senshi moaning in pain as she was moved and clinging to her carrier helplessly. She felt absolutely at their mercy, and was glad that they were people she could trust.
"I'm going to be fine," Merlinite said, "and I'm going to make sure you guys are, too. I'm staying at the library still, so come find me when you can, okay? If anything bad happens, you can get me or Camelot there, and he'll help."
If Painite came after them again, for one thing, or if anything else went wrong with healing Sinistra.
He nodded his head, thinking it better if he didn't walk with them. Two White Moon auras were draw enough, but two White Moon plus a General? Painite would be looking for him. At least they would be safer together, without him there.

Lysithea almost dropped the poor senshi in surprise. “Wait…which library? What are you talking about staying at the library? I’ve…what?”
If she had known that…well. She would have been there more often, wouldn’t she have…the kindly librarian was pretty chill, but he seemed useless in knowing how to help dragons and…
And Merlinite had been in the library the whole time? She shook her head. “Nevermind. Now isn’t the time. Now we have to worry about helping Sinistra…but you and I. I think we need to talk. And soon. I’ll see you later, you big goober. Take care.”
The super senshi adjusted her grip on the girl in her arms and began walking, wanting to get closer to home so she could work on making the girl more comfortable.
Some things were just more important than finding your half monster crush was living in a library. Most of the time, at least.

"Oh, I forgot you didn't know. I live under the library. Camelot patrols there at night and has been letting me stay, though it's a big secret and all the doors have to stay locked during the day."
He gave her a brief rundown, feeling guilty for not letting her know. The last time she checked in, he was probably still homeless, which had not been a very good time for him. Right after his transformation.
Nodding, telling himself he would definitely spend some time catching up with her once Sinistra was better, he waved at Lysithea as she hurried off, then turned to head back toward the library. He was already debating on telling Camelot anything about what happened...
Or just taking to his revenge plan without the Royal Knight knowing and guilting him out of it.
