Tourmaline was seated comfortably on the bench next to a young fellow who had thought to give her a tough time that evening. She had been out and about, minding her own business, and this guy had come out of nowhere to harass her. She had tried, politely to tell him to sod off, but he had been persistent enough that she had found it necessary to show him just how certain she was that no meant no.

He was slouched down on the bench, slumped over as though sleeping. His starseed glimmered in her hand. It wasn't an overly impressive shine. She had somehow expected more, even if she shouldn't have from someone who amounted to garbage.

"I suppose the question is... Do I keep this little gem? Or do I give it back? You aren't dead yet... But you could be, and I doubt anyone would miss a fellow like you."

"His Ma might, ya'know."

Arms folded across her chest, a tall, blonde senshi watching from several yards away. Her back was pressed against a tree, one heel scraping against the bark as the other stood firm on the ground. She might have felt pretty serious and cool looking, but she was a curly, fluffy steel blue and yellow flamingo of a girl, if anything else.

Duhr had been wandering - that's all she seemed to be doing these days - when she'd heard a small commotion. A guy, fussing at a gal, who turned around and fussed right back at him. She'd arrived at the scene shortly after he'd been put out of his misery, so to speak. So how she looked didn't matter. What mattered was the man's starseed, small and glimmering, in the Nega-gal's hands.

"Ya don't want to break a poor Ma's heart, do ya?"

"His Ma should have made sure that he had better manners when it came to how to treat a lady." Her snort was anything but ladylike as she eyed the young woman, neither was the sneer that followed it. "Who's to say he hasn't already broken it, hm? I'm just trying to keep one more bad guy off of the streets."

She looked away from the intruder, eyes drifting back to the star seed in her hand. It would be so easy to just pocket it and not look back. Could she do it, though? If he were a senshi, now that would be one thing. That would earn her a badge or something. But this guy? This guy was just common scum.

"Are you going to stop me?"

Smirking, her head tilted down. One gloved hand moved upwards, casually flicking a single, blonde ringlet out of her face as narrowed blue eyes stared down the enemy.

"Ah ain't a judge, but takin' the law into your own hands...that ain't right either, sister."

The girl looked like a punk. Duhr wasn't one to form opinions so quickly based on appearance, especially considering the getup that Fate had dealt her with (it was hard to look tough when you wore a hoop skirt and pearls, after all), but the outfit this gal wore gave the senshi the impression that she was indeed dealing with an unsavory character. Paired with the fact she'd just chest-assaulted a random fella, well...it was hard not to form an opinion.

Her foot pushed off the tree, gangling legs now slowly moving towards the Lieutenant. Eyes never left the Negaverse agent, mostly out of concern that she'd try to bolt like a startled filly. And running in heels wasn't what Duhr had on the agenda for today.

"So if ya aren't plannin' on puttin' that back where ya found it, Ah reckon Ah'll have to be the one to stop ya."

Lieutenant Tourmaline wasn't going anywhere. A challenge had been issued and, in the name of making something interesting out of it, she intended to see it through. It wasn't like she had anywhere else to be that evening. No races. No shopping trips. Just quota and a little bit of a** kicking.

"I wasn't planning on putting it back, but how about this one. I'll put it back and leave it there for safe keeping. Drained enough energy out of him that he'll just rest nice and easy while you and I work out our differences. Maybe if I win I'll get to take two starseeds back to my General. Won't he be proud of me then?" Not normally one to vy for attention (some things just came to her naturally), she had to admit that she rather liked the idea of seeing Labyrinthite beam at her with pride.

"Sound fair enough, partner?"

"Stealin' is stealin' - and ya ain't my partner."

Though having Dorado would have come greatly in handy in battle, now that Duhr thought about it. Two to one wasn't exactly fair, but there was no telling what these tricky Negas would do, if she didn't watch them carefully enough. Dorado was full of smart thinkin' and ideas, while Duhr preferred the more simplistic route: fight, beat up, win.

Her arms uncrossed themselves, almost as though she were removing invisible guns from either side of her within invisible holsters. Pressing her fingers together, she formed her gun shape, index fingers aimed directly at the other girl.

"But go ahead and test my aim, if ya feelin' lucky."

Her feet spread apart, balancing herself as she readied for her attack. They were about to have them a proper Mexican standoff.

"Are ya feelin' lucky, punk?"

Tourmaline held the starseed out over her victim's body, marveling only for a moment as it shined just a bit brighter before she let it slip back into him. There was less of a chance of it getting lost if it stayed there while she took care of this nuisance anyway.

The Lieutenant stood slowly after that, taking a moment to 'dust' her jacket off and smooth out the creases of her shorts. She paused to adjust the cuffs on her gloves, making sure that they were snugly in place. They weren't much for a weapon, but at least she knew how to throw a punch.

"Just so you know, Ruffles, you don't scare me... So yeah, I guess I do feel lucky."

She grinned at that, all hesitation now thrown to the wind.

The twistin' wind, in fact.

Her finger-gun cocked back, the wind at her feet beginning to stir. Most of the occasions didn't allow Sailor Duhr to take the time to craft the perfect storm but this gal was giving her ample opportunity to flex her stuff.

The cyclone started slow, gathering various dirt particles and the dead leaves scattered nearby. Speed began to pick up, along with the size of the cyclone as it remained hovering in front of her. Now three, nearly four feet tall, it would only remain under her power for seconds more until she needed to launch it. After that, it was completely out of her control.

Glancing up from her twister, she gave the Lieutenant a wink as her hands hovered behind the wind, prepared to push and hurl it forward.

"Go ahead and c'mon then, darlin. Make my day."

Anxiety started to inch in as she watched the dust devil grow into something that looked like it could prove to be more of a threat than she had initially anticipated. Her fingers twitched, as though she were about to reach for a trigger herself. No such luck for the Lieutenant there, fortunately for the scout.

Tourmaline wasn't going to run no matter how tempting it was. The destructive thrill in wondering just what this scout was capable of was too tempting to pass up, especially as the twister gathered momentum and force.

"Bring it!" She cried out before charging forward, heading straight for the gathering storm and for her opponent along with it.

Thankfully, Pink & Black made her move just in the nick of time. Sailor Duhr could appreciate this, especially since so many of this gal's kinfolk tended to stand and yammer instead of getting down 'n dirty.

The winds were licking at her gloved fingertips, anxious to pull and whisk away at anything that drifted nearby into its grasp. She could feel it slipping from her control - it was now or never. With a shove, she sent the twister forward, along with a silent prayer that it actually went in the direction she aimed, this time.

Regardless, her fists remained up, readying just in case this desperado managed to dodge the attack. Not that she minded, Duhr was itchin' for a good fight.

Some denizen of the Space Cauldron somewhere heard the prayer of Sailor Duhr.

The twister came at Tourmaline and she charged into it only to be sent sprawling backwards. Her backside hit the ground hard and she sat there dazed for a second. Dazed soon became angry, however, and she scrambled back to her feet as quickly as she could. No longer in the direct line of the tiny twister, the Lieutenant charged again, this time scrambling to tackle the senshi before the twister could make its way back around.

Thankfully for the Lieutenant, the twister was now doing its typical, erratic zig-zagging, bouncing against trees and building walls as it pinballed its way down the street. With any luck, it still had barely a minute before it evaporated - pity for any alleycat that might decide to lurk in its pathway during the meantime, however.

The filly in the pink tights launched herself in the air, Duhr's balled fists forced to quickly open up in time to catch her as the duo toppled over. There was enough cushion from the lace and curls for a softer landing, but Duhr wasn't satisfied with this.

No, it was wrasslin' time!

Legs worked to wrap around hers, one hand moving to push against her face (just in case this one was a biter) while the other forced against her shoulder. With all the labored breathing it was hard to catch a breath in, but Duhr wouldn't trade moments like these for anything in the world. These were the moments when she felt the most alive.

Pulling in close, a hoarse whisper laced with giddiness asked, "Ever been hog-tied, darlin?"

"You're -- guh -- not my type." Tourmaline snorted as she struggled against the other girl's grasp. Scrapping honestly wasn't her favorite thing to do, but she'd been in a scrap or two before.

Maybe three or four...

Then something hit her, soundly, in the back of the head, eyes going wide briefly before she toppled forward onto the senshi with a low groan.

"I... Oh. I hit her!" An excited voice came from not too far away. Celliwig, Page of Earth, had decided to enter the fray in defense of someone who didn't feel nearly as creepy crawly as the one in the black and pink. "I didn't think I'd actually hit her. Or -- Or hit anything, really."

Celliwig gathered her skirt and hurried forward to retrieve her stick, brandishing it in her hand again so that she could either chuck it or swing it as need be. "Are you alright, space girl?"

Well, that fight was short lived.

The girl slumped on top of her like a lifeless sack of taters. Weighed about as much too, from what Duhr could reckon. But what in the world had happened...?

Shoving the Lieutenant to the side, the blonde attempted to make sense of what just occurred. Seeing the redhead dashing over to where they lay - well, now it made sense. The long-skirted woman stooped down to pluck up what looked to be practically a twig, mumblin' something or another about being able to hit something.

Instead of getting mad over Red here stealin' her thunder, Duhr gave her a curt nod of approval before struggling back up to her feet. "Wouldn't have thought about pullin' a branch off, but it worked. Ah like your style, Red."

She ignored the space girl comment - maybe this dame hadn't seen a person in fancywear before - and instead turned around to grab hold of the knocked out Lieutenant while she was still knocked out. With the grace of a newborn foal, one hand clutched the girl's arm while the other snatched up a leg, hoisting the body up like a barbell. Once she was lifted high enough in the sky, her neck bent and she gave the girl a simple toss, adorning the punk's body around her neck like a boa of questionable fashion.

Grunting, she turned to Red. "Well, c'mon then, Red. If ya want credit for this, ya need to be taggin' along now."

One foot moved forward, it soon becoming abundantly clear that wearing heels while carrying a significant load was not a workable equation. Shoes were kicked off, stockinged feet now making their way down the sidewalk as Lieutenant Tourmaline's limp hand decided to fall forward, lightly smacking against Duhr's curls and cheek as they walked.

"Celliwig," she corrected, although it didn't seem as though she minded being called 'Red' much beyond that. Honestly, she wasn't paying it much attention at all, instead focused on trying to figure out what exactly the senshi was doing.

"Uhm. Miss? Shouldn't -- shouldn't we be leaving here here and getting out of Dodge before she wakes up and starts trying to, I dunno, fight you again? I probably didn't hit her hard enough to keep her out for long. Wh -- Where are you going? Wait!"

She had stood there dumbfounded as the senshi had started walking, eventually taking a skipping step or two to catch up with her. "What are you planning on doing with her? Are you going to go back for your shoes?" Celliwig was so confused.
