Ever since he'd been a child, all Aldrovanda had wanted to be was a nurse. Sure growing things was neat, but healing them was better. However, it wasn't quite that easy (nothing ever is). It had taken him awhile to realize that he wasn't as good at healing as he thought he was. The injured he treated seemed to take longer to heal or be in more pain than the others. After much trial and error, he had figured out that the only common factor was...him.
It had been a crushing blow to realize that his life's goal was something he apparently wasn't very good at. But he wasn't going to let it get him down, he was pretty sure with a little practice he could become an excellent healer. He just had to find someone willing to teach him. Or rather find someone again, the last three soquili he'd asked to help had said that he was useless and a lost cause.
He knew that wasn't right, but the words had stung anyways like nettles on his flesh. That was why he was looking for her, the legendary Pandora.

However, Aldrovanda soon discovered that he was hopelessly lost. The trees all rather looked the same and he couldn't see any stars to guide him by. The whole world was starting to ebb into twilight and he had no earthly clue where he was. Stopping for a moment, he glanced around the path that he was following wondering if he was even going in the right direction. Unfortunately there weren't any signs, and he could surely use one right now.
