Valhalla was angry, and upset, and confused about what exactly was going on. Alexandria had told him there were Negaverse officers that had been taken and locked up and tortured. For what? What was the purpose? Were there senshi and knights who hated the Negaverse and Dark Mirror so much that they wanted to turn into the very thing they hated?
The intention was to get home as quickly as he could. He knew Ganymede wasn’t powered up, so he couldn’t get in contact with her senshi phone, and his signet ring was also acting up when it came to sending messages. But after parting ways with Alexandria, it was the only thing he could think of doing.
He didn’t even realize there was a General close by since he could still not feel auras, and he wasn’t paying attention to his surroundings until she appeared before him, and he skidded from a run, trying to stop but landed hard on his butt from slipping on some ice that lingered.
“General,” he breathed, having had the air knocked from his lungs when he’d slipped, his eyes wide. “There’s something I need to tell you,” he quickly explained before she decided to kill him right then and there, as he was defenseless and completely alone. “Have you not noticed some officers have gone missing??” Then again, he had no idea how close these people were to each other.

She had felt the knight signature traveling fast, and like any cat, she'd given chase almost against her will. It was fleeing prey... she had to take it.
Her boots pounded the roof tops as she raced after the signature. Jumping from one to the other in an easy motion and she pushed herself for more speed to close the distance between them. It wasn't until she saw the running figure that the General gathered herself and jumped a final time, disappearing out of the air.
When she reappeared, it was directly in the path of the knight and her smile turned feral as he fumbled and fell trying to avoid her. He was familiar, when she got a good look at him up close. Cinnabar remembered her struggle with him and his little princess, and her hand ripping his starseed from his chest.
"Ah, hello Handsome." She purred, her fingers curled to display her claws. "How nice to see you up and about. I thought for sure that cracked starseed of yours would have finished you off by now..."
She advanced slowly on him, her head tilted to the side as he struggled to get out something about missing officers. Her eyes narrowed as she frowned, coming to a stop in front of him.
"Maybe, maybe not. I suggest you hurry up and get out with it, before I get bored."Guine omg *covers face* the typos, I'm so sorry. *fixes*

The comment about his cracked starseed finishing him off by now was not the most encouraging thing he’d heard. If anything, it made his face blanch slightly, wondering just how long he really had.
“I need help getting them out. The officers, I mean. The senshi and knights who did this were… confused… hurt… especially after last year. But this is wrong and I can’t convince them and I can’t do it by myself,” he quickly explained, hoping that she would be more concerned with finding the officers who would have been taken.
“I know the location. There’s something stopping them from teleporting out and blocking their auras. I don’t want anyone hurt… I just want to get them out. I was on my way to get Ganymede and some others I know will help me,” he desperately tried to plead his case, pushing himself away from the General so he could stand back up, still extremely cautious about what she might do next.

The babble from the knight on the ground was more concerning with every word he uttered. There were some officers missing, but it was not like it hadn't happened before. Sometimes people chose not to show up to things or stay away from the Citadel. Sometimes their quotas were late or they took a break from their duties all together. It was not the work ethic she wanted to promote or even admit to someone outside their ranks, but the whispers she'd heard about people being absent hadn't raised any particular red flags.
This though... a knight, claiming officers being held and unable to teleport? She would have said it was impossible to block that ability, that it was one of the reasons capture was a futile sort of idea against an officer of any merit, but if they had the ability to cut them off from that critical advantage?
The General moved like a striking snake in her impatience, a low, rattling growl rolling from her throat as she snatched at the knights coat, her claws catching in the cloth.
"You will tell me where they are and you will come with me there." She demanded through the bestial sound, red-black eyes intense. "And if you are lying, I will finish crushing your starseed like I should have done last time. If you try to get a message off to anyone, I promise you won't be able to use your fingers to do so a second time."
If this was a idiotic attempt at an ambush, she was going to show them how bad of an idea that was. If not, she already had a list of people to call to mount a rescue attempt.
She almost hoped what he said was true... She had grown too much in her service to rush blindly in, but the thought of tearing into anyone who dared take their officers was heady, exciting and satisfying.

Valhalla winced as the General moved forward and took hold of his clothing. He held his hands up as if to prove that he meant no resistance in hopes that she would not kill him immediately. He didn’t like the idea of just leading her there without being able to contact anyone else. His intention wasn’t to have the Negaverse attack to rescue their own, but to have other Senshi and Knights hopefully talk reason into the others, and they would let the officers go of their own accord.
This felt as though he would be causing more harm than good.
“I’m not lying,” he promised, but still frowned, very much disliking being used like a hostage himself. “I’m trying to help. If you kill me then you might eventually find them, but is it worth risking?” he asked, knowing very well that she could end up not caring about some apparently replaceable officers who ended up getting themselves caught. If anything, she might just want to know where they were so she could kill them herself.
“I’ll take you there,” he said to reiterate. “But you’re not the only one who wants them freed. It’s not just the Negaverse that cares about their lives.”

A low hiss scraped past Cin's teeth as she straightened up, dragging the knight upwards with her until he was standing on his feet again. She made no more move to injury him, but neither did she release him. There was no way she was letting go of a lead like this, not until she had seen it through.
"Tell me where to go. If your tip pans out, I will let you go." She grated through her clenched jaw. It was hard, suddenly, to form words correctly, but she suspected that was mostly to do with the animal growl her throat was making. One of those happy little mannerisms picked up from her youma side, of course.
"Unharmed and unhindered." Cin added, though it was grudging. "All I want is the location and assurance you aren't going to warn them before I can secure the release of our people. If they find out and make off with them, I will hold you personally accountable for each and every one. I'm not the only one who wants them freed? Then prove it, Knight."
How long had it been since she had last been in contact with Cerussite? Jet? Chrysocolla? Galena? Schörl? Her hand dipped into her pocket to roll her communication crystal restlessly between her fingers. Some calls needed made, and soon.

Valhalla winced when he was pulled to his feet, grabbing hold of her wrist so she wouldn’t pull too hard without him being warned, but he didn’t do anything to fight back. She said she was going to let him go, and he had to believe her.
“The only thing I want is for them to be released back to the Negaverse. I only just found out about it. I don’t even know who was taken,” he tried to explain, expecting her not to believe him.
“They’re being kept in an old jail on the outskirts of the city,” he said, his stomach churning with both dread and determination. He would do whatever he could to help free those who had been taken, but he also wished he would have had the chance to speak with those he knew he could trust, first.
“Let go of me, and I’ll take you,” he promised.

Cinnabar snarled as she tugged Valhalla closer, her fist tight in his clothes.
"Try to run or try to warn someone, and you will be dead within moments. Got it?" Her voice held every drop of threat she could muster before she released him and straightened up, her hands falling to curl in fists by her side. Her chin jerked in the direction he had come from and she rolled her shoulders, loosening the muscle.
"Go. I'll follow."Guine wrap here or in your post?
