Halfway through her patrol for the night, Sailor Dorado finally sensed something. There was no true way to describe what the power signature of a corrupted agent felt like... the closest she could come to was stifling, oppressing, heavy. The girl didn't think to pause and call for back up, eagerly flexing her fists before she darted off in the direction of the trail. Her sock thumped against her side where she'd tucked it into her fuku, but as long as there was a barrier between it and her skin, there'd be no side-effects. Dorado skidded to a halt in a nearby alleyway, sensing that the energy signature was just around the corner. She had to make this good!
Springing into the open, she began to announce her name and some appropriately cutting statement--when her heel stomped on her own bow. Dorado shrieked, her arms pinwheeling wildly as she tried not to slip and fall right on her butt. She twirled and smacked into the wall to catch her balance, waiting until she was sure she was steady before pushing herself upright.
Her cheeks were flaming, but the girl promptly held her head high and continued on. "Never fear! Sailor Dorado's here!" She practically growled, pointing wildly at the young man. "And you are in trouble!"

He was starting, he felt, to get the hang of this.
It was an exhilarating feeling. Wolfeite wanted to take it and swallow it down, let it burn through him until it was all that he knew; this heady, thrilling sensation of having the world at his fingertips, of having so much power right there in front of him, ready for the taking.
He was going to grab it, and he was going to take it.
There was a senshi just up ahead; he could feel the disgustingly sterile signature seeping through the air. Wolfeite heard a shriek and turned his head, eyes narrowing as he caught sight of her at last - flailing and floundering and...falling.
There was silence for a moment after the senshi's proclamation. Wolfeite simply watched her, his gaze hooded.
Then -
"How pathetic."

What did he just say???
She bristled all over at his disdain, wishing she had sleeves to roll up so that she could show him just how hard he was about to get his butt kicked. The girl snapped her teeth, quickly calling out her one--and only--attack. "Dorado Aquarium Agility!"
With her grace now enhanced as though she were in water, the girl shot towards the Negaverser, planning on socking him right in the face if she could do so. She might have been quick, but her trajectory was obvious. If Wolfeite was fast...
...Well, he'd soon realize that for all her bravado and bluster, Dorado didn't have much experience fighting against real opponents.

He heard her yell, then saw hr lunge. Wolfeite did not have time to dodge the attack fully, though he did manage to twist slightly at the last second. The senshi's fist slammed into his jaw instead of his nose, and his head snapped back, teeth clicking together as Wolfeite staggered, his head ringing with pain.
A gloved hand rose automatically to rub at his throbbing face, what little was visible of the lieutenant's face darkening with anger.
He didn't need words. Wolfeite lunged forward, grappling for the senshi's wrists - Dorado, was that what she had shouted? - and tried to flip her, a hiss of fury reverberating from his throat.

She'd hit him! Dorado's eyes went wide with delight and surprise, taken aback by how her knuckles throbbed after they made contact. She stumbled to catch her balance, breathlessly shaking her hand as though to wave away the pain. A sharp grin twisted at her mouth, her heart pounding as adrenaline flooded through her. She knew what she was doing! She was a super hero--and she could save the day all by herself!
That was when his hands clamped down on her wrists, and her mind went blank. She struggled uselessly in his grip, forgetting everything she'd been taught about breaking the hold of a larger, more powerful opponent.
She was slammed into the pavement, her skull bouncing so hard that she grunted. Her stomach lurched as she uneasily rolled to her hands and knees, so dizzy that she thought she might be sick.
This had suddenly become not fun.
