The dryad was prompt, he was always prompt. He was also dependable and caring and deeply concerned for the well-being of his family, adopted or not. Narra had volunteered to go to Below despite being a little wary of being too far from family but he done it all the same because he wanted to make sure things would be okay for when his sisters traveled here. And he was sure they were going to travel here because they told him that they wanted to go to Below. And because he was their older brother and was fiercely protective of them, he packed his things and filled out all the necessary forms before they could so that he would be there first. He wasn't fully adjusted to life in Below but they didn't have to know that.

Renge was excited. She wasn't the least bit nervous because Renge never got nervous. She'd written ahead and informed her older brother that she would be coming to Below sooner than intended because, well, that was the sort of thing Renge did. It never bothered her brother. At least she didn't know whether it bothered her brother because he never told her and the thought to ask never occurred to her (that had always been more of Ari's thing.) So when she arrived at Asterion, bundled up like nobody's business and barely capable of walking, let along dragging all her luggage, the fey decided to do the only logical thing and look for her brother.

Narra found her first. It was rather hard to miss the pile of clothes or the bright multi-colored wing-warmers. He wasn't exactly mobile himself but he was certainly in a better state to lug around suitcases filled with oodles of clothes and other necessities. He trudged through the snow towards the Fey, making no intention to mask his approach nor any attempt to announce his presence.
He could actually reach out to take the luggage by their handles and he did so. Somehow, he wasn't entirely surprised that he'd managed to walk a ways away from Renge without her realizing someone had already taken her things.
The Dryad coughed. Loudly.

Renge at first didn't pay any attention to the coughing. It was freezing down in Below so for all the Fey knew being sick was the natural state for anyone living here. But when the coughing got louder and continued on for too long, she began to look around for the source.
And spotted her brother. A quick glance around her feet revealed the luggage he was carrying with him was hers and the Fey hurriedly ran towards him, arms open. "Narra!!!!" she squealed, practically throwing herself at him, completely confident that he would be able to catch her and carry her full weight.

Narra barely got the chance to think Oh dear- before he suddenly found himself with an armful of Fey. Luckily instinct and years of growing up with the expressive and sometimes overly dramatic Fey taught his body to adapt and the Dryad quickly managed to plant his feet firmly on the snow-covered ground.
When the Fey threw herself at him, Narra managed to keep upright. The ankle-deep snow around him also helped to anchor both Dryad and Fey. There was no spinning around however, not just because they lacked the momentum for the act but Narra was really not that sort. He preferred to have a little more dignity than that.
He lowered his sister down and said "You ought to be more aware of your surroundings, Renge."

"Oh pfft," Renge said in response, waving a hand in dismissal of her brother's (valid) concern while the other arm remained firmly wrapped around Narra's neck. "Anyone who steals my things must be desperate. Which means they clearly need it more than I do." Though with the scarf wrapped around her neck and mouth the words came out muffled.
Whether Renge realized this or not, she carefully pulled the scarf down so she could give the Dryad a kiss on each cheek in greeting, before wrinkling her nose and giggling while she made a face. "Your cheeks are so cold!" she said, pulling the scarf back up.

His sister's presence was a distinct reminder to Narra how quiet his dorm in Leviathan was without his family. The familiars he brought with him helped to curb the loneliness but he missed listening to actual conversations. And participating in them he supposed.
"Asterion's a lot warmer than Leviathan," he said as a means of explanation before pulling out his thermos from the depths of his thick coat. He handed the container to his sister who reluctantly let go of him to take a drink of the wonderfully hot beverage. Once again he took hold of the suitcases, "Come on. Let's get you settled in your dorm room."

Renge dutifully gave Narra all the necessary information so they could locate her room faster. The Fey wanted to get out of the cold as much as her brother did and it wasn't long before they found her room. (Albeit with a few brief stops so Renge could fully take in the sights of some of the prettier students and faculty members they'd passed by.)
"I think I'm going to like it here," Renge said when she finally unlocked the door and stepped in. She immediately parked herself on top of the bed, expectantly waiting for her brother to bring the suitcases in. "Did you see some of those Nightmares? They have such pretty colors and those markings~" she sighed dramatically. "Don't you just want to trace a finger all over them?"

Narra concentrated more on getting all of Renge's luggage in rather than on his sister's topic of conversation. While he could appreciate beauty and color, he wasn't quite as excited about the other students in Asterion as the Fey. But that was Renge for you, and Narra wouldn't have her any other way.
"Can't say I'd ever felt that specific urge. Although I did meet a baphomet with interesting markings recently. She also happens to be studying here." He said as he set the luggage near the closet. He spoke casually, treated it as just an off-handed comment. He thought of Topaz as the first Nightmare he'd made friends with. That was it.
When he glanced up at Renge's face, he realized his sister wasn't going to take it that way.

Renge was literally a hair's breadth away from Narra's face the moment she fully processed what her brother just told her. The smile on her face could be best described as... excited if you were kind, or deranged if you weren't.
"You met someone? Really?" her eyes would shine if it were physically possible. "What's she like? How pretty are her markings? Does she know I'm going to be studying here? You should introduce me!" And on came the questions in rapid succession, barely giving Narra the chance to actually answer any.
In the end, her brother managed to return to his university the next day.
