Hyperborea had been planning a trip to her wonder so she decided to fulfill a promise she had made several weeks earlier. She had promised the Polaris knight she meet at the princess' wedding that she would show her Hyperborea. So She called Delphi.
"Um Delphi, I'm not sure if you remember me. I'm Hyperborea, we meet at Polaris' wedding. I was planning to make a trip to my wonder today and I was wondering if you'd like to come with me." She spoke into her ring. "So if you'd like to come can you meet me at times circle fountain."
After hanging up she made her way to fountain, where she waited for the older woman to show up. Sleet Tempest Snape Here's a start ^.^ let me know if I need to change anything

Delphi had been avoiding her wonder, and not because she wanted to, in order to take Hyperborea with her to visit. She should have contacted her sooner but with the start of the next college semester starting had busied the dark haired squire. She would apologize when she and the Cosmos knight met next, and she was sure it would happen she just didn't know when.
Tonight she was out, powered up, and patrolling the city when a call came in over her ring. The call, or the voice, surprised her for a moment until she heard who it was. Hearing the place and time she nodded to herself and made her way in that direction.
Her own ring was brought toward her lips as she spoke a response back to the other, after letting the ring know to whom her message was meant for. "On the way. We can, if we have time, go to Delphi as well." She said as she drew closer to the fountain.Aurelius Ambrosius Hope this works, let me know. And I like your start. ^_^

"Of course, I'd love to go to Delphi after!" She said happily to the small hologram of the squire. So she waited at the fountain and after a short time the older woman appeared.
"Bonsoir, it is good to see you again Delphi. I can't wait to show you my city, I was able to make some improvements to it recently." She said with a childish grin, so far the only people who had seen her trees were Babylon and Dallol so it was a treat to show them off, and Hyperborea felt particularly proud because it was because of her that they came back to life.
"Are you ready?" She asked before taking the squire's hand and reciting the oath. In a flash the pair were gone from the Earth.
As they reappeared on her acropolis, the grand city of Hyperborea stretching out below them. Above them were countless stars with three large purple stars standing out from the rest. Around them on the acropolis were cherry blossom trees with amazingly beautiful rainbow colored petals
"I welcome you to my city, Delphi of Polaris." She said with a smile on her face as she curtsied to the squire. She did love playing the formal hostess at her wonder.
"If you'd like you can put your coat in my ancestral home." She said with a motion towards the courtyard of her acropolis.Sleet Tempest Snape Thanks and that definitely works heart References: City ( 1, 2, 3) Trees

size=11] She would take them then, after this trip, they would go to Delphi. When she arrived at the fountain she moved to greet the other and nodded her head. "It is good to see you as well." She answered with a smile. "I can't wait to show you mine as well. You will be the third person, aside from myself, to be there and the second since I've gotten the water running." How that came to pass she didn't know, not fully, but she was pleased with the development. She had shown Polaris as soon as she could, why wouldn't she? And now someone else would see. Perhaps in time more would work at her wonder, she could only hope.
"I've spent most of my time cleaning and I'm not nearly done. It's a large complex." She said. She almost wondered if she'd never finish cleaning and dusting. If she even did finish the first sweep of it all she'd just have to go back to the start and begin again with dusting - right?
When they did arrive it was to a sight that would take a persons breath away, and it did take hers away. It was huge! She was now glad her wonder wasn't so large. She could never hope to clean and restore it if it were this big. But it was wondrous at the same time, a whole city! She had figured they would all be places within a city...not a city itself! Returning the curtsy to the other. "I thank you Hyperborea, it is a pleasure." The trees had her attention for a moment before the other asked her a question, or rather made an offer. "yes, please. I'm afraid if I keep this one I will not last long here." It was much too warm for her uniform. She would have to figure something out for the other during the short walk into one of the buildings, likely one of the libraries, as it would be freezing at her wonder. She could lend the other her coat, she had full body covering on under it and it should hold up for the short walk, plus she didn't mind the cold as much as she did the heat of summer. Winterlynn, also known as Delphi, was a winter sort of person. The summer was much too hot for her most days and the winter...ohh it was nice and she could bundle up in bed or on her couch and watch a good movie, or several. Yes, she could lend the other knight her coat when they went to Delphi.

Hyperborea's oath mark in her left eye began to glow like her transcended marks as she walked, though she didn't realize it. She lead her through the enormous gate house into her courtyard where they were greeted with the sight of a large bronze statue with a golden javelin held high in the air. "That statue reflects the light of Hyperborea's stars to direct travelers toward the Cauldron." She explained as they walked past more rainbow colored trees.
She lead the squire to a building across from an enormous temple, above the entrance hallway to the building was two emblems, a lion and a rose. "This is my ancestral home." She said as she lead her inside to a lounging room with several couches placed around a hearth and with various statuary placed throughout the room and paintings on the walls. "You can place your coat wherever you'd like.
"So what would you like to see, the lower city, the acropolis, or my labyrinth?" She asked.

"So like a guiding light for those who die. That is interesting." Someone to guide the spirits, or souls, so they could be reborn again and again...and again. That was good and useful. "Does it still work after all this time? Or do souls make it on their own now?" Without the light? And could, or did, some get lost? It wasn't like there had been a knight here fulfilling duties for a long time. Did they have to be there to make it work? Did it work anyway, all on it's own? And could it ever stop functioning. So many things.
Taking off her coat, still glancing all about, she turned her lavender eyes onto the other as she laid her coat on a couch. "Whatever you think is the most interesting. I don't know this wonder so I will leave it to you." She wanted to see what the other thought was the best thing to see, the most interesting and exciting. The most important to the other.

"Well I can't be certain without leaving my wonder to see it from afar, which as far as I know is impossible, but I believe it still works. Its not actually magic, according to my ancestor, its just a trick of the light so I assume as long as it isn't moved and the suns are still there it will always work." She explained as best she could.
"That is a good question though, I don't really know how souls make it to the cauldron now. I'm not sure if you know this but Cosmos knights used to have the duty of shepherding souls back to the cauldron a thousand years ago. But we don't have any way of interacting with starseeds now. I can't see them or interact with them so I assume we aren't necessary for them to reach their destination now. I don't know, my princess would probably know but I've never meet her so I couldn't tell you" She admitted.
"I guess we should start with the acropolis, then maybe the labyrinth if there's time." She said motioning for her to follow her back outside.
She went over to one of the rainbow cherry blossom trees. "These trees are the pride of Hyperborea. They are made from the wonder's magic, I only recently got them back. In fact you are third person to see these trees in a thousand years." She said proudly.
"Lets see over there is the grand bathhouse." She said pointing to a building with blue and white tiles. "I think its heated magically, though I'm not sure. I like to use it when I stay here overnight." She said heading towards it.

"That makes sense." She had thought magic, perhaps, perhaps not. it was good to know it wasn't magic and thus likely still worked, it seemed a very important thing. To not have it working might be very...disastrous.
"I was unaware of that. I've never met, or talked to, a Cosmos knight till you. I would hope the job is doing itself, if you and other Cosmos knights can't. It would be bad, for those souls, if it isn't able to do itself. Perhaps that is where your princess is - busy with that task." It could be a reason and explain the absent princess? Though there were other absent royals, right? What of them? Were they even alive? "Is your princess alive?" She asked then after a moments thought. She knew some royals were alive but others she was unsure of, could they be somewhere else outside of Destiny City but be alive?
Following behind the other she caught up to her, and matched pace, so they could walk side by side. The acropolis sounded good, she didn't voice it though, as she was busy listening to the other. "I can see why they would be. They are very different and lovely." They were indeed unlike anything you'd find on Earth. "I'm honored to be the third person to see them." And she was indeed. To see something so unique and be one of the first - it was special.
"You have water running? Was it always running or was that something you gained back as well?" She asked, curious. If the other already had water, where as her wonder had not, it would be a difference and would open up a question to her. Why water here and not her wonder...was there anything she might have that someone else wouldn't have? What had effected her wonder but not this one where one had water prior to it's knight turning up where she'd earned hers. "I just got water running at my wonder recently. I've not found any baths however." And no bed or place to rest. So she couldn't really spend the night...at least not yet. Perhaps now that she had heat she could bring a mattress of sorts? It wasn't practical but it could be done she was sure. Following Hyperborea to the bathhouse she wondered what it would look like up close, she also wondered more about her own wonder and what else might be there.

"You're right, or at least I think you are. From what I've been told my princess, Lady Cosmos, is away tending to the Galaxy Cauldron. As for her being alive, I've been told Princess Cosmos is the closest thing in the Universe to a god so I can't imagine someone that powerful would be dead." She explained, although all of this was based on stuff she had been told for all she knew it could all be lies.
"I had to open the pipes but yeah. However that was only up here, from what I can tell most of the damage to my wonder is in the lower city. Down there the water either doesn't work or in places it does but it is really gross and dirty. That's why I think there is some magic protecting the water up here." She explained.
As they neared the building they could see steam rolling out from in between the columns. Leading her inside Hyperborea spoke up again "That's interesting that your wonder had no running water at all through, I wonder if it is because it is on such a cold world." She mused out loud. The baths looked more like shallow pools than any bath tub.
"Here we are. Oh and that building over there is the training grounds for knights." She said pointing to a another building that could be seen beyond the columns. "Even though it was a time of peace Hyperboreans believed that being a skilled warrior was necessary for a knight to protect the peace. "

That...was powerful. She knew her own princess held a lot of power, she was a princess afterall. Would she have the same amount of power as Cosmos? They were both royals though of different places/things. Were all royals equal or different in power due to their magic or for another reason? If they were different in power levels. "I wonder if all royals are the same in power." She ventured to speak a loud while pondering the idea. Were royals god like? And what if there were things more powerful than them? More powerful than Cosmos, if she was more powerful than the other royals. If so...what? The universe perhaps but that was just a thing..something abstract that was hard to fully understand. To hear that it was still expanding, that there was nothing beyond it, was easy to say but hard to actually think and imagine. It was impossible really.
"Some water, when gross and dirty, needs to be run till it clears. Perhaps that will help? Think of dirty pipes back home when sometimes running it for some time results in clear water. If that doesn't work perhaps you can bring pipes up and tools and work on it. They make self help books I believe." She had water running at her wonder now, hot water and thus heat, but she needed more things running - like lights. She wanted to see more come on line at her wonder.
"It could be. The water pipers run between walls and heat the buildings. I would not have thought, looking at the buildings, that each has a wall..hallow space for the pipes, and another wall. But the buildings now have heat it seems. I can only hope that the magic there keeps it from harming the library's books." She couldn't imagine loosing them all, or having them become even more damaged. She hoped the magic of her wonder would keep them preserved as it had up till now.
"Training grounds...here. I wouldn't have thought it. I'd have thought on the various planets, not at a wonder." As wonders belonged to a single knight. Had they been just for the knight which had called this home? It seemed likely the case. Either way her pale eyes were focused on the springs. "Hmm I'm pretty sure Cosmos is the most powerful royal." She said thinking about. "Oh um I don't mean that to sound like I'm saying Polaris or any of the other royals are weak or anything. They are all brilliant and amazing." She said quickly hoping what she said didn't offend the knight, the last thing she wanted to do was insult the woman or her kind princess.
"I think there are like normal royals and then special royals. Like that Moon Queen Woman people say might one day return. The Negaverse fears her return much more than they fear the other royals so I figure she must have been insanely powerful. Or with Negaverse and their Queen Metalia who must be a lot stronger than the General Queens and Kings or else why would they follow her. I figure Cosmos must be like them, after all she is the guardian of the stars and the protector of the cauldron. I don't think even a normal royal would be entrusted with such an important duty." She explained.
"But I think the other Royals are probably on par with one another, like Polaris seems as strong as Castor or Camelot." She said mentally comparing the royals she had seen in action.
"Merci, I'll take that into account. I'm not really sure how to deal with the city wide layout of the pipes, maybe I could break it up into smaller sections and work it a piece at a time." She said, she wasn't very knowledgeable in terms of engineering but maybe with a guide book she could figure it out.
"Oh your wonder is a library, that's awesome I can't wait to see it." She was at heart a total book worm. "I hope the books are preserved too, it'd be great to some day go through and read such ancient books."
"Well as far as I know none of the cosmos wonders are on a planet. we all just kind of drift amongst the stars. But yeah the knight of Hyperborea and the city guard trained there, now I mostly use for training with my ancestor." She said with a smile. "Merci, it was once a center of cosmic trade and it dazzled visitors with its wealth and grandeur. I hope one day it'll have that same glory again. by the way if you ever want to try the baths feel free to ask they feel heavenly on sore muscles." She offered noting the woman's focus on the springs.
"Hmm so do you want to check out my labyrinth, or we could move on to Delphi if you prefer, I'm excited to see this library."

"No, I know. It is a curious thing though. To wonder where they all stand and how powerful they are, if their is a scale. it makes sense to wonder about it, especially since we've not met them all." She only knew Polaris and had heard nothing on the others. She knew they each had their star/planet/sun or what have you but the cauldron was none of those things so did that make her better or just different and yet the same? Did she have authority over other royals? Or was she an equal in title and such where she wouldn't and couldn't order others around? It was all something she knew nothing about and was now wondering about.
"I've only heard a little about that moon queen. I do wonder if it's that they are all the same but the magic, what there sphere is, makes some more powerful than others. Rather than anything else. Were they all to have the same sphere they'd be the same in power. Or what makes the differences.." Blinking pale eyes she turned her focus back onto the other and away from the heated water filled pools. "The stars also? Our ranks, and senshi, are all clearly defined until we reach the royal rank. it seems to be rather confusing and a bit...unclear."
Turing her focus once more to the site the others wonder presented to her, and what a sight it was, she shook her head. "Court buildings and two libraries filled with law books. It was, and I suppose still is, a complex for the practice and learning of the laws of Polaris and elsewhere. I can't wait to show you. I'm unsure though how far it is from any city, or anything else, I've yet to go walking off into the snow - it's deep and cold." And while her uniform was good for the cold weather...it would take a considerable amount of time, strength, and energy to go wandering through all the snow to get to...somewhere - maybe.
"The books seem to mostly be, some are a bit old and worn from what I can tell. But that's to be expected. I'm just glad they aren't all dust piles. I just wish we could translate them somehow. " She wished for a lot. She wanted to rebuild and restore far more than the water and heat. She wanted to gain lights, and clean floors and whatever else needed repair, as she had not seen anywhere near all of her wonder.
"I will keep that in mind and thank you for the offer. If you ever want to visit Delphi feel free to ask, I'll be more than happy to bring you along. Perhaps a pact of sorts between our wonders can be established, starting here and now, and continue on through the generations to a time when they see life again as they once did." She wasn't social, she never had been, and she lacked trust in people. but this was a step forward for herself and her wonder. It was a step toward a better, and perhaps brighter, future. A pact and some form of a bond between their wonders that could help them both perhaps. She didn't know what they could offer each other but certainly something could be gained by them both - right?
"We can go then if you'd like. I don't mind taking you there. I'll need my coat though and you'll need far warmer clothing."

Sleet Tempest Snape here's a gift, you can include it in her art if you'd like. Also I think we can wrap in the next post or two and move on to delphi if you want.
"Same, all I've really heard is that she was responsible for what happened a thousand years and that both the Dark Mirror Court and the Negaverse fear her. That's an interesting point though is it the spheres that make the difference, or perhaps it is the world they are tied to, or maybe its about the royal crystals they use." She thought out loud. "Yeah, that's what her sphere is, she's the princess of the stars. I agree the royals are a real mystery, perhaps because there are so few of them. I wonder if it was more clear during the Silver Millennium. And where do we fit in as royals, I mean like if a Princess of Earth were to suddenly show up would she be more powerful than Camelot, would she have authority over him or would they be equals?"
A truly bright smile came over Hyperborea's face at Delphi's offer. "I would like that alot, that sounds like a wonderful idea." She agreed without hesitation, connections were a great thing and she would jump at the chance to form a bond between wonders. "Oh I have an idea, why don't you go get your coat I'll be right back." She said before taking off towards her magical forge, the Crucible of Stars.
She had not done it herself yet but her ancestor had shown her how to make the magical necklaces like the one she had given to Polaris, though that one had been a left over from before the fall. She took a plain crystal from a pile on a work table in the forge. She looked into the Crucible its self, it was a swearing vortex of energy sort of resembling a nebula. She dropped the crystal into the vortex and held her hands out over it, she visualized the necklace picturing the one she had given Polaris before. Soon enough a glowing crystal on a golden chain rose from the Crucible into her hand. The crystal was warm to the touch, the magic leaving it with a bit of light and warmth that would never fade from it.
She made her way back to the Polaris knight, she held out the necklace for her. "I want you to have this, I call it a Hope Pendent, it can symbolize the new found friendship between our wonders." She said brightly.

"I wonder that as well. Perhaps these are memories some of us have or will gain? It would be nice to know, to better understand things. Going on as blindly as we are does not help us in this war. it leaves up seeing shadows and some color in the darkness but still darkness. We have some royals, some we do not have. We do not know what exactly caused all of this nor how to fix it all. We can only try our best and hope. But while the war continued on, without any progress either way - or so it seems, it might be a good idea if we had life up here and in the mean time could work together to help ourselves." Working together to help themselves and their wonders, to build back what once was and building new things - new alliances and bonds. They could help each other and each others wonders. It could be the seeds that would lead to a brighter, lively, future for another generation to enjoy.
Nodding her head she was glad to see the other so happy. Going to get her coat, a slight bounce in her step, the dark haired woman did return soon with her coat draped over her arm. She was planning to let the other knight use her coat, the rest of her outfit should keep her warm enough for the quick walk to one of the libraries. The others short, thin, clothing would only get her sick and she wouldn't permit that. She would let the other know just when they went to teleport.
Surprise washed over her at the gift, something she had not been expecting, but she had seen at the wedding of her princess. "It is an honor, thank you." A curtsy as she took it gently with her own gloved hands and slipped it on over her head. "I wish I had something to offer you from my own wonder, aside from snow and ice, but perhaps I will find something in time like you have." She spoke gently, sincerely.
"I hope now, and into the future generations, our wonders and the knights of them will work together. But let us work together to help build our wonders up, for alone it is a task we cannot do...but together I am sure we can build them up to greatness." Maybe not to people living at either or even to what they'd once been. But they could build them up to something better than they'd been in the past thousand years.
Holding up her coat she offered it then to the other. "Put this on and we can go to my wonder."Aurelius0815 You can finish and we can move to another rp. We can also do after the meta rp. perhaps they can work on a brigade together? Since it seems they are getting on very well. Unless your knight is joining one already.

Sleet Tempest Snape awesome biggrin , I'll leave the start up to you since it'll be her wonder. I'd definitely be interested in forming a brigade heart , I had toyed with the idea of her forming one but I didn't have any solid members yet. if you want we can talk more on aim or over PMs about it.
"That would be lovely, though please don't feel indebted to me." She happily.
"Well said, may the names of Hyperborea and Delphi stand together to build and protect a better future. If you ever need aid simply call on me and I will come." She promised.
She was tempted to refuse the offer since she'd feel bad making the woman go without her coat but she got the feeling Delphi wouldn't accept that so she graciously accepted the coat and slipping it on over her armor and letting her cloak fall behind it. With that done she took Delphi's hand. "Merci! I'm ready when you are."
