Time passed slowly for Naruto, who walked about in a constant daze. After seeing Sasuke, and then feeling the devastation of yet another betrayal by his rival, Naruto couldn't take it any longer. He watched as Sasuke took a mate, had foals, and then... and then, Naruto couldn't believe what he saw. But, considering it was that Teme, the reality was all too real. Those poor, poor fillies... Naruto shook his head. "Oi, Kyuubi," he started, before realizing the fox-wolf was nowhere near him. Huh? Kyuubi's always nearby, where'd he go off to? Naruto checked his surroundings, coming to the realization he had wandered off into unknown territory. Nothing was familiar to him. He had a moment of panic before calming. Bits and pieces of his former life, of being a ninja, came to him. Calm down, he told himself, Close your eyes, and listen hard. The slight breeze of the gorgeous day soon brought sounds to his ears. One of the sounds were very familiar. Naruto grinned wide. He'd found Kyuubi. Those previous life skills were coming in pretty handy; it helped that he had always had heightened senses, though. He turned in the direction Kyuubi's voice floated from and began his walk back.Kyuubi, for the first time, was much too far from Naruto for his personal liking. However, he had caught wind of a scent he thought he would never smell again--at least, not in this particular lifetime. His ears perked up when he spotted what he was looking for. The stallion looked incredibly imposing--and he hated to admit it, quite frightening because he was in such a smaller form this time around--but Kyuubi determined quickly that he was in no danger. He darted towards the figure and as he came closer he wanted to snarl. Surely, the world couldn't hate Naruto--and himself, for that matter--this much. But surely, certainly enough, his eyes told him true--and if not his eyes, then his nose and ears didn't lie. "Uchiha Itachi," he called, "I see that this is where you've been sent since your last life." His eyes searched the horizon before they slowly rose up to look upon the sky. Certainly, a beautiful day; peaceful so far, but he had an inkling something would happen today. As he strolled along, he contemplated his past. He had woken here in these lands many moons... many seasons... years ago. He realized quickly he was an equine; that in itself was unusual. Several weeks after that, he had been captured by humans and chained. However, being his genius self, he managed to break free of their confinement, but now he wandered about with broken chains clinging to his wings. The chains prevented him from flying too high, though he longed to see the sky closer. Sadly, the most he could do was glide--if even that. The chains were far too heavy for his wings, despite his massive strength. When a rough, male voice called out to him, he froze, quite startled into wondering who knew him by name. He had kept to himself, content that he was at last at peace, without fighting, without killing. Despite his appearance, he was tired of the violence. He was meant for more beyond those days of his previous life. As his red gaze centered on the creature who called him, he couldn't help his shock. "Kyuubi...?" If the nine-tailed--well, no longer nine-tailed, it seemed--demon was here, that meant... Either Naruto was dead, or both died, or... there were far too many mysteries for him to contemplate or question further. "Speak, Kyuubi; you sound as if you know many things and have answers to all the questions I have," he spoke with patience and the wisdom of his intelligence. He had clues, ideas, but with Kyuubi here in front of him, those thoughts would be finalized. "Well, looks like you've still got bits of your memory, too, eh?" The fox-wolf smirked. "Sure, I know a few things. But, Naruto will be here soon, and when he's here, I'll get started on our little reunion by answering some of them," he taunted. He enjoyed the look of surprise on Itachi's face when he spoke up. His ears swiveling, he heard Naruto's hoofbeats. The kid was fast approaching, and boy, would Naruto be in for yet another surprise. The Uchihas were forever haunting his poor buddy, but Kyuubi was determined to keep Naruto from suffering any further.

Where had it all gone wrong? Why did it happen? More importantly why did she feel alone and overly depressed as a slight drizzle of rain fell upon her deep blue fur. Or honestly was it her tears that soaked deep into her soul in regret. Things had been going so smooth and for once that damn stallion who had made her promise was happy. No, he was puzzling and his words were extremely bitter with his sharp tongue to worsen the blow.
Then her shoulder burned with a maddening flare when she felt it cracked by those massive hooves.
Tears streamed now like a cascading waterfall showing her fear, despair, and the biggest flaw she could ever possess; weakness. She hated that thought causing her to cry even more in spite of her mind ceasing her to stop. Her heart was broken as her mindset was unsure. Triggering messages within caused her to ache as they spoke of him returning to kill her. Her first thought was her three girls whom were her flesh and blood along with his. She'd openly give her life for all three if meant their survival in the long run. She had done her part and even in the darkness that loomed like a demon she was proud of her girls. They would find mates of their own someday and raise their own offspring. It was the natural cycle in any being's life to carry on the species. Soquili weren't as rare as once rumored but they were rare in any case.
She shook her head releasing those last few droplets from her eyes. There were other matters to attend to in regards to the elder's sage advice. She must seek out Naruto for he would help her heal. How she wondered but she didn't question it openly. All she knew was him being the key to healing and moving on. He always did have a way to cheer her up whilst Sasuke mocked her for failure at every turn. Would it of been different if Naruto had been their father she wondered? Would he have accepted daughters with no remorse or regret? Deep down she knew the answer but she couldn't bring herself to believe her mistake was naive and not thought out.
"It's not your fault. It's his" came the low growl of a familiar voice.
She sighed deeply looking downward at a small black wolf sitting on his haunches watching her. "No it is my fault. I agreed to this scheme so I deserved what I got. It's that simple... wolf".
"Tsk Tsk.... I'm not here to fault you on anything. More so to see that you're not ... that you're alright minus what happened. I'm not here to mock nor to point a paw like he would. I'm much stronger than that". Pausing he stretched getting to his feet, "You're better off without him Kunai".
"I have no one Sharingan. No one that will understand the pain I feel because I listened to him with my heart. I'm a ninja! I'm not supposed to think with my heart... Its how... its how you ... lose your dignity and your life." She bit her lower lip and shed more tears. Deep inside her shoulder burned as did her heart in which was broken.
"Kunai.... Seriously. You need to follow Celendria's advice. Stop beating yourself up", he growled in annoyance.
Kunai sighed deeply again wondering where her crow had flown off to. Maybe she too didn't feel that her companion was mental enough to be with her.

As he approached the area where he'd heard Kyuubi's voice, the figure that took his attention took his breath away. Not in a romantic kind of way, just pure shock. Don't tell me this is where we all end up when we die in our previous lives?! Naruto wondered, somewhat gaping. He shook his head. It made sense. If Sasuke was here, of course Itachi was here. As soon as he was over his shock, he grinned widely and approached the older Uchiha with enthusiasm. "Itachi!" he called cheerfully, as was his way. Nothing really kept Naruto down; rather, he had moments when he was a ball of negativity, but he often conquered these emotions because he had always had a goal to aim for. If he didn't have that goal of becoming the best, to be better than even Sasuke, Naruto doubted he'd be anywhere nearly as successful as he was now... so to speak.
"Itachi, it's great to see you! I didn't even know you were here..." He trailed off. Naruto glanced down at Kyuubi as the fox-wolf gave its trademark smirk with teeth. "Is he the reason why you wandered away, Kyuubi? Seriously, you need to give me a head's up..." It occurred to the blond stallion that it was actually a bit of a wonder that he hadn't run into Itachi at all during his time here in--as he and Kyuubi had discovered--the Soquili lands. It was even more miraculous that Sasuke hadn't found out that Itachi was alive and well in this... time and space and day and age and he was going to stop thinking about all of that because it made his head hurt.He was just as pleasantly surprised to see one of the few people he trusted from lives' past walk upon him. Of course, in a completely different form, but it was still the same young male he met and asked for a promise from. "Little Naruto," he greeted, somewhat humorously. His red eyes twinkled with his pleasure. "It's quite good to see you. How fares my foolish brother?" He asked, quite bluntly. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw Kyuubi react in a rather interesting way. Well, that answered another one of his questions--Sasuke was here, and alive. He flicked an ear lazily towards Kyuubi and then completely turned his attention to the fox-wolf. Kyuubi had promised answers, and while Naruto had answered one of his many questions, he expected more information. It was his forte, after all. He was someone who gather intel constantly, especially for survival. However, new knowledge was streaming in--Naruto was here, and thus, Sasuke as well from Kyuubi's reaction. In other words, he concluded, the two likely killed each other in a deadly clash, and were reincarnated into this world, as I was. That was all Itachi could think of, honestly. He wondered if his foolish younger brother was different now; his only regret was instilling such hatred into Sasuke. He growled at the mention of the younger Uchiha, but it made sense that Itachi would ask. "Kid, you need to be more aware of your surroundings. You were careless," he scolded. Naruto's senses were off being in this new form, but it didn't mean the kid needed to slack. Well, the blue-eyed idiot would always be a kid in his eyes. Probalby why I can't leave him well enough alone, Kyuubi thought, smiling to himself. Seeing as all parties were in the area, Kyuubi settled down on the soft grass.
"Where do I start? Well, I guess I can start with how we woke up in this place. Granted, I don't know much, but I remember more," he began. Thus, Kyuubi launched into an explanation of all the events that had happened from the moment he and Naruto woke up to the Soquili Lands to the encounter with Sasuke.

Her cheeks were so damp with tears she pondered not even finding Naruto now. Celendria was watching over her babies so this was her journey alone. "I..." she paused with uncertainty. "I don't even know where to find Naruto... Sharingan".
The black wolf could never show remorse the way others could but he tried in his own cold way, "I'll find him then. You've taken on that burden way too long Kunai", he snarled with a flick of his tail.
Kunai looked down at him still trying not to cry with no avail, "Sharingan. I know you can't express things like you want to. The thought of you even remotely hanging behind to find me is gratitude enough from me. I won't lie I'm tired because honestly I've tried so hard all my life. I want to give up so bad and put it all behind me but I can't. I am born of the ninja which leaves honor in my heart. I can't ever give up because if I do I'll have failed my father, my teachers, and most of all everyone that was pushing for me to be a great ninja."
Sharingan looked at her with a twitch of his nose followed by a grunt, "I could never be compassionate like the pack. The day I awoke as his eyes I felt an underlying hatred that would never cease. In another life I absorbed all that negative influence and here I am to this day. I can't help what I am nor what I've become". He suddenly stopped catching the scent of something familiar on the wind then he resumed his thoughts aloud, "But you can. You are the one that can change fate.. Kunai. Don't let that duckbutt write your story. Heh I say screw them all that think different".
She looked at Sharingan with a half smile, "You are indeed different wolf. Thank you."
Sharingan's fur stood on end, hackles raising violently as he sniffed the air even more, "Kyuubi and....Narurto.... someone else? Am I.... it is!" He growled taking to all fours bolting across the land.
Kunai listened to Sasuke's wolf feeling a little less devastated but she knew if she found Naruto he would see her weakness for sure. Her words were about to be spoken when she heard the wolf's voice and noticed his body language.
"Nar...uto?", she looked up to see the black wolf dash over the horizon as if he'd been a ghost never there. Her ears swived toward the path Sharingan had taken. Then she began trotting after him till her fractured shoulder caused her to stick to a steady walk.
"Wait for me Naruto..... Please....", it was pitiful sounding as she winces but her heart and mind were pushing her to her journey. No matter what may come she was the holder of her own fate. For a moment Kunai pondered who someone else was that the black wolf had spoke of. Was it Sasuke? She hoped not for her shoulder was not able to accept more damage than it had.

"And Sharingan is a wolf," Kyuubi continued. "The little idiot Uchiha also recently did a... thing," he hesitated, wondering if Itachi should know about Sasuke's insane, obsessed rampage with reviving the Uchiha clan. He didn't really want to bring it up; it devastated Naruto, and it hurt many others around them. He wasn't one for caring much about the others, but he was annoyed at the actions of Sasuke. "Sasuke mated with a daughter of Hatake Kakashi," he said as bluntly and as emotionlessly as possible. It was a fact. "They had three daughters; congrats, you're an uncle," he added drily. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched as Naruto flinched, but recovered quickly and managed to keep a wide smile on his face, though it didn't quite reach the infamous blue eyes.
Kyuubi looked up into eyes that were both thoughtful and contemplating and yet showed no emotion. He honestly didn't know how Itachi managed to pull off being emotionless and yet conveying emotions at the same time. Then again, the eyes give away more than anything else in the world if you but look hard enough. Ears twitching, Kyuubi had an odd feeling scratching at him. Or maybe he was simply itchy from sitting around talking for a long time, but he felt like that wasn't it. There was something coming... With a start, he stood up and sniffed the air, but he couldn't smell a thing. They were downwind. He started pacing. Kyuubi hated when he felt something off and didn't know what was coming.Itachi listened with rapt attention to every detail as he soaked in all the new information. Sharingan possessed a wolf? Well that certainly explained why he couldn't summon them. And Sasuke went on a senseless killing rampage... And here he thought his little brother had finally found happiness by creating a family... It really didn't matter if the offspring were male or female at this point, as long as the Uchiha clan continued to live on, all the better. Males and females both were strong in the Uchiha line. "Did you say Hatake Kakashi...?" he mused aloud. Well, Hatake certainly had some interesting ties with the Uchiha, but for his brother to go after one of Hatake's daughters... "Kyuubi, that wasn't something we should have shared," Naruto snapped, interrupting the flow of conversation. "Yeah, Teme had kids. But then he abandoned them because they were girls. Does it surprise you, Itachi?" Naruto grumbled. He didn't like where the conversation was heading. Shaking his head, he looked up at the sky that didn't match his mood. "Itachi, why am I even here? Kyuubi deserves to be free, but--" He smirked when Kyuubi snarled playfully at him, "--I thought this was my second chance, you know. To make up with the b*****d." He returned a troubled gaze to the older Uchiha. "Well, that's everything we know up till this point. If you have any other questions, we know as much as you do; probably less, cause you know, I'm still trying to figure out what I can do here and now." Naruto really had no idea; he still felt so utterly lost, and of course, betrayed--again. He was so sick and tired of the constant fighting, but he didn't know how to give up, either."Naruto, don't worry," Itachi soothed, his horn glinting slightly. "If I have to play the demon, so be it. We shall make my foolish brother see reason again." Sasuke wasn't stupid, but yet, the decisions his brother made only seemed to beget more hurt. That wasn't his intention when he first made his decisions; his only regrets were that he was forced to hide the truth. He was relieved to reveal that truth to Naruto in the past, but it seemed it was far from over. "I am glad that we ran into each other," he eyed Kyuubi's pacing, "Since it's fortunate that I'm an experienced one in this kind of life. I can show you how things work." His wings shifted slightly; the weight of the chains sometimes itched, but he bore it. These chains were a light punishment to his past crimes.

The black wolf hurried quickly not thinking of the struggling mare for the moment. The smell was undeniable and yet he knew it from days past in that other life. Just like Sasuke and Naruto the wolf knew the fox deeper than anyone around him. He growled in his throat his hackles raised as his canines showed. They were all here of course; Uzumaki, the fox, and most curiously Itachi. Was it a rumor swirling within that it was a ghost standing there talking to the other two he wondered. Whatever the case Kunai was in for a shock that was certain. The black wolf with bristled fur stepped in closer listening to the three converse. He didn't catch all of tale but it was in regards not something that mare was in the mood to hear of. Noting the bushes nearby he crept in being very silent for being downwind of them now was at his advantage.
Quietly he thought to himself that listening to this conversation might gain him more insight of Itachi who was thought to be dead by his brother. From the day Sasuke's eyes opened to that fateful night when Itachi killed their parents the Sharingan felt both pity and anger. Mostly, it was anger for doing such a heinous act. It made the wolf shiver for something that vile witnessed is never truly forgotten. The wolf also noticed that Itachi in this life carried chains upon him which was confusing and strange.
Itachi's words were deep yet he was emotionless which was confusion to the wolf. If he was once again within Sasuke's sight Itachi would of been ambushed at that very moment. But, Sharingan was his own beast now able to make his own choices.
Suddenly, the black wolf head a sound in the tree above the bushes which he took notice was a familiar face. It was an annoying one indeed which he still noted was the cause of Sasuke setting off like a bomb.
~*~*~*~*~
It had been three months since she'd taken flight from that horrible incident. She foraged for herself and stayed distant because it was the right thing to do. This very day though in her flight she spied the black wolf hiding like a coward deep in the bushes. In truth the crow could never avoid anything of interest especially if it involved that wolf or his demon companion. She landed quietly hopping along the branch that she gloved tightly with her claws. The female crow stayed put not even making a sound to disturb the air but she listened well to the threesome deep in conversation. Oh how Mizukage wanted to fly down and tell them what a beast Sasuke was but now wasn't the time. Her companion Kunai had been missing which made the crow very tense. Her curiosity though came to her of why Sharingan was hiding like a scared puppy in the bushes.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The very movement burned her shoulder it caused serious tears to well when she least expected it. Her eyes were blurred so she was trusting fate to guide her to where sharingan had hurried off to. It had been three months since she'd last saw Sasuke and hid her girls away. It was the last act she could muster in prayer Celendria would watch over them. Her thoughts now pondered where Naruto may be because she needed his support more than ever. Her coat was a mess since she had spiraled into depression so thick. In her journey sharp briars had torn her silken coat and reopened some of the wound on her neck. It felt like her world was crumbling was a royal mess to match.
Pausing for a moment she caught scent of a stream and drank deeply as her muzzle broke through the surface. The water was refreshing as the cool water drained into her system. She even took time to crop some of the grasses that grew in this area. How long had it been since she'd eaten or drank anything? As her head came up to gaze at herself in the stream she finally noticed just how frazzled and beaten she was. Sighing she shook herself of the dirt that caked in her deep blue fur. It wasn't much but it was a start she noted to getting a hold of herself. Her spirit was much stronger then this which seemed dim and unreachable. She had to face the fate laid out before her and push onward otherwise all the great ninja in her family bloodline and generations past would have been in vain.
"No matter what the result a Ninja is strong", she murmured with a new breath. Her ears flicked and she nodded, "I am a ninja. I am strong". Closing her eyes she took a deep breath then she began to gallop as hard as she could to find Sharingan.
It took a few minutes when she'd caught scent of the Black wolf but it was the sheer shock of what was standing before her as she galloped to the gathering. Naruto, Kyubbi, and someone else she couldn't quite tell who it was yet. Sharingan's scent was around as well so this had to be the place. Giving it all she galloped, switching to a canter, then finally a trot before we walked towards them. Her coat may of looked rough and beaten but her red eyes shined when she saw Naruto.
"Naruto!" she called out in relief, "I've finally found you!"

Startled out of his focus on the conversation at hand, Naruto looked up to see someone he never expected to see. "Ku... Kunai!?" he choked out. The way the mare looked also moved him into action. He galloped toward her, nuzzling her in greeting and worry and concern dominating his expression. "Kunai, what happened? Why were you looking for me?" He turned around to look at Itachi and then looked back at Kunai. Where to start? Well, Kunai was a strong mare, no doubt, so he supposed the faster it was done the quicker she could get over it. "Um, Kunai...? I'm glad to see you're okay, and that you found me all right, but I have to introduce you to someone," he began cautiously.Itachi's expression didn't change although his eyes glimmered for a second in surprise as a roughed up looking mare came towards their group. Sensing other eyes, he glanced around, trying to pinpoint if there were enemies or allies also approaching. He didn't like how the mare looked, almost as if dead, "Naruto, perhaps we should move to a safer spot...?" he cautioned, picking up on the feeling that Kyuubi had had earlier. Kyuubi didn't stop pacing until Kunai showed up, and then looked up just in time to see a crow quite familiar to him. They weren't personally acquainted, but Kyuubi had seen her hanging out Kunai several times. He snarled as his gaze dropped. "Sharingan, I know you're there, you stupid possessed creature. It's not like you to hide," he taunted.Naruto took a breath. "Kunai, this stallion here is Uchiha Itachi, Teme's older brother. Itachi, this is the mare I was telling you about: Kunai." He inwardly cringed at the abrupt introduction, but he was hoping that the shock would--hopefully?--take Kunai's mind off what had happened to her. Or--he cringed even more but he fought to keep his face from showing it--it would make her react in ways Naruto wasn't sure he was prepared for. He hoped she took the introduction calmly. He glanced over at Itachi in a hopeful manner, purposefully ignoring Kyuubi's behavior. He twitched slightly hearing Sharingan's name, but otherwise practically pleaded Itachi with his eyes.Itachi's red gaze landed on the mare that looked very much like Hatake Kakashi, all the way down to the headband covering her other eye. He couldn't help a small smile as his eyes roved across her tattered being. "Pleased to meet you, Kunai. As Naruto said, I am Uchiha Itachi." He deemed it unimportant to repeat that he was the older brother of Sasuke. He doubted the mare was that stupid to not remember it right away, especially considering their family name. Doubtless Hatake Kakashi didn't neglect to remind his precious daughter of the things he, himself, had done, let alone with his hapless brother had done. Sensing that the group was in no particular danger, he relaxed slightly.

Her legs were weak as if they would've buckled under pressure but finally Naruto's response gave her strength. She took a deep breath trying to gain her senses and welcomed Naruto with open arms. Or rather a nuzzle that she could muster as a small smile crept upon her face. Her eyes stung from the crying she had done previously to the point she felt sharp pains.
"I am strong. I am ninja", she thought herself in a determined manner. She had found them now as her elder had instructed. Her shock though came from the stranger who had eyes she knew well. He seemed strangely calm and reserved compared to his younger sibling. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance... Itachi." she breathed with a twinge of uncertainty for a moment.
Kunai's eyes darted about searching their surroundings wondering if Sasuke was there as well. In her current state she couldn't face him not after what he put her and her daughters though.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Meanwhile the black fox that been hiding growled at the fox and stepped out of the bushes with a lash of his tail, "What if I am here Kyuubi? Is it really a crime to be someplace?",rolling his eyes he stepped out and shook the loose debri from his coat. "Just because I am that brat's eyes doesn't mean I'm like him. Stop stereotyping already!" His eyes narrowed as she walked over toward the blue mare only to sit on his haunches. "Besides.... you weren't there like we were. You have no idea what went down. So shut your trap."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The crow that had been watching the group ruffled her feathers then flapped her wings as she glided over to her companion. Landing on outstretched scrolls she gloved them with her talons. Hopping downward she made her way up the mare's back till she rested comfortably in the mare's green vest. Lightly she dug her talons in and ruffled her feathers again. For once she didn't say a word, only her gratitude was given for the appearance of Kunai. It had been so bad that day things were better left alone. She made a mental note though if Sasuke came at Kunai again she'd really give him a piece of her mind. Leaning upward the female crow began picking the dirt out of the mare's mane as she usually did.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Kunai was relieved when Sharingan revealed himself but more so because Mizukage hadn't run off for good. They say a companion is your friend for life if they choose you willingly. Her crow was a noisy creature and yet she was her kindred soul. Her heart began to beat a little more in rhythm now as things were starting to look much better. Her ears flicked to listen to to both stallions taking their words in one by one but as a whole. Her attention then turned to Itachi again a moment of respect being showed in his presence. He was no the evil presence, demon that Sasuke made him out to be. In her eyes he was a lost soul brought to this life by some unnamed force. "Even in a different guise I would've known who you are. I've heard unsettling things about you... Itachi. Things that broke your brother's heart and made him hellbent for revenge. But, I see more then a callous assumption. You've been through more than I and for that I am sorry".
She couldn't help but share how she felt seeing the chains and emotionless scars he carried. It's true he had probably done horrible things but there was more to him then a senseless demon.
"I too made a mistake. Naruto I followed my heart and well this is where it got me. I... don't want to talk about it though. Not for a long time... a very long time". She looked downward then and sighed, "But, I will never forsake the gifts I have been given from that reckless decision. They may be born of his seed but I carried them and will raise them. They are the most precious treasures I could have ever ask for." Looking upward again she met both their gazes. She couldn't reverse time nor would she want to. It was the emotional scars that stung her like a hive of bees reminding the kunoichi of her painful shoulder. Somethings just couldn't be erased nor mended easily. But, with mending comes patience and learning.
Now the new journey was beginning.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

A strange new face peeked out of the bushes looking at the group. Her long ears swived and listened carefully. She had been there concealed for quite some time now. Twitching her nose she laid eyes on the two wolves noting the Black one was in a mood yet again.

He tilted his head as he greeted Kunai in his quiet manner. "Greetings, Kunai. If it's possible, can I ask why you sought Naruto out?" The uni-kalona looked her over, frowning slightly at some of her minor wounds. While he had some minor healing abilities, they were nowhere near as great as that of a unicorn... or even an alicorn. Still, he should do what he can. He stepped towards her, and in doing so, realized how small she looked compared to him. He tipped his head. "If you'll allow me, I can heal some of your very minor wounds. You have scratches all over you." He stepped back so his massive size wouldn't overwhelm the smaller mare. He had no idea he was that huge until he stood next to Kunai. Hmm, something new every day. He nodded at Kunai's explanation of what to expect when meeting him. "I... I have made mistakes I should not have made, but they were for the better. Sasuke didn't know a thing. I would prefer he hate me, then..." he paused, painful memories coming abound. He closed his eyes and looked away. "Please, allow me to help fix your scratches.""Seriously, Kunai!" Naruto scolded gently, "What have you been doing to yourself? Let's get you to a pond or a lake so you can clean up and refresh yourself. I bet it took you forever to find me!" Naruto laughed, hoping his cheerful self would cheer her up. "C'mon, Itachi, let's find her some water after you fix her up!" Naruto didn't have many friends to speak of, so it was nice knowing Itachi had his back. Besides Kyuubi, he really didn't have anyone to hang out with. It stung a bit inside to know that even in this world, he was alone. However, now he had to make sure Kunai was okay. "Awww, it's okay, Ku-chan," Naruto smiled as wide as he could. "Besides, I'm sure your kids will grow up happy. You should introduce me sometime, yeah?" He pushed Kunai gently and playfully. He smirked at Sharingan, amused that he could still rile the wolf up. "I had other matters to take care of, and you're right, I wasn't there. Still, it's strange you're following little Kunai around. She already has a partner, doesn't she?" Kyuubi looked over to where the crow had landed who was picking out the bits and pieces of debris in Kunai's mane. "Well, that doesn't matter. You're definitely here now. Why are you here, Sharingan?" He could understand why Kunai might have come looking for Naruto, on account that Naruto was someone who held his word and would keep to it even if it pained him, but he still didn't understand why Sharingan came along. He flicked his tail, red eyes obsersing Sharingan closely. There was definitely something different about him, no doubt about it.

She nodded keeping her mind balanced as she responded to Itachi, "My elder Celendria instructed me to do so. You see Naruto and Sasuke both were my teachers as was my father Kakashi". She was proud to have this knowledge and bloodline flowing within her though the very mention of Sasuke made her wince knowing it would take ages to heal before facing him again. "My wounds are more emotional than any damage he could of done. Of course he cracked my shoulder when he lashed out in confusion which I won't lie hurts worse than giving birth." That was a mare's secret to stallions around the world which she'd never truly say just how painful it was to bring life into the world. But, Kunai was tough even in her current state because of her training. If she found a mate later she'd go through that torture all over again. Maybe this time around she'd make a more prominent decision rather than follow an inkling to make another excel at something.
When he neared closer to her the mere size of him was a little overwhelming yet breathtaking. He was the complete opposite to Sasuke yet there was something more interesting. While she had run in with Kwaren the Kalona before this one she noted he wasn't aggressive nor hot tempered at first glance. Rather he was reserved and collected in her observation.
"We all make mistakes Itachi. Your brother lives to be the avenger its what fuels his determination and madness all the same. He needs to waken his heart and see the real truth even in another lifetime from whence you all came from." She smiled lightly nodding to him, "If it's in your heart then follow it so. Just don't let your thoughts consume you nor your fear". She felt strange saying what she did for she herself had followed that reckless path but in the same time she was granted an entire world in her both daughters' eyes.
She then turned to Naruto, "Oh just rolling in the mud learning to be a stealth ninja". She couldn't help but laugh and think of Chidori when Naruto was around. They both carried determination and optimism which she loved so much. Min Mae was the energetic more so than Chidori whereas Kunoichi was more like her father being angsty and more hard edged. "Let's just say a cranky wolf led me here because he knew what he had to do. He may be the result of Sasuke's eyes and yet he's very different. Go easy on him if you can". The blue mare was thankful Sasuke's companion wasn't exactly like him but he could be vocal when he wanted to be.
Hearing mention about her daughters made Kunai beam with pride, "Naruto, they are my world. You'd love Chidori the best because she's determined like you are. She's got willpower and dreams I could only touch upon in a dream. Min Mae is hyper and tends to run her siblings all over the place which gets to be a burden being a single mother. Thankfully, Celendria and the herd keep watch over them. Kunoichi though is more like her father with a deeper edge then her siblings. She is the one I worry the most over most days. If anything she'd be the one to pick a fight in a heat's notice." She sighed deeply, "I wouldn't change them for the world if someone offered me the chance."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Sharingan listened to Kunai has his burning red eyes almost showed a bit of lightness in his expression. She was starting to return to her own self which was a relief. The little black wolf had no clue what he would've done if Kunai broke in her entirely wishing for an endless void of death rather than face the world like she was doing. Still upon his haunches he looked over at Kyuubi in annoyance, "I'm here because she's here." he growled but more relaxed then usual. "That stupid duckbutt ran off angry and repressed as usual running into an annoyance that's like a mirror. Needless to say I found a better purpose rather then listen to two annoyances cause disturbance." He yawned momentarily then stretched out his front paws. "Any more questions?" This time is was a low grow more so than the first response he had given.~*~ *~*~*~*~*~*~ Ramen wanted to greet both of the male wolves but she was hesitant. She adored both to no end but their endless bickering made her stomach queasy witnessing it. Once the little cream colored female got the courage she stepped out of the bush seating herself quietly as she thumped her tail in greeting. Suddenly, she bounded over and pounced on both the black and the orange wolf licking them with a whimper, "Where have you two been?" She wagged her tail in excitement continuing to pour attention on both.

He had to fight not to laugh at Sharingan. "Not really. Well, I was wondering if--" He gasped as a familiar voice reached his ears after being pounced. It was no wonder he was caught by surprise--this particular voice held zero malice and zero intention of harm, so Kyuubi never sensed her. "Ramen!?" he shouted in surprise. It was only Ramen that he could ever be nice to; however, much as he loved Ramen, her eyes always strayed to Sharingan. "I've been keeping an eye on Naruto, Ramen," Kyuubi explained, unwilling to get up while Ramen still touched him. Life was unfair, but it didn't mean he couldn't take pleasure in the little things. "I'm glad to see you safe and sound, Ramen. And not so glad to see Sharingan. But, here you are," Kyuubi smirked. Sharingan was always fun to rile up; things would be kind of boring otherwise. He couldn't really help himself, honestly."I see... you do quite resemble Hatake Kakashi. How is your father?" As she explained her wounds, Itachi couldn't help himself and pressed his horn to her shoulder. It glowed a soft red for a moment. He could not heal her true pain, but perhaps he could lessen the physical feeling. He straightened up and closed his eyes. Healing always took so much out of him. He wasn't a unicorn, and much of the healing powers of a unicorn drained him, as he only had a small bit of the power to use. "My brother is not the type to usually hurt females," he said coldly as he opened his eyes and looked Kunai over. "But perhaps all of his decisions are based on my personal mistakes. For that, I apologize deeply on my foolish brother's behalf." He bowed, barely hiding the shaking of his rage. Though he never showed his emotions, it didn't mean Itachi had none. He carried them carefully, but even Itachi wasn't immune to anger or fear. Sasuke needed to learn a lesson. It was one thing to strike out if an enemy attacked him, but to attack... he stopped and laughed humorlessly at himself. To attack innocents? It runs in our blood to lash out. I... I should have known better. But still... He looked at Naruto. All his hopes laid upon Uzumaki. He felt guilty for laying all the responsibility on Naruto, but Naruto had proven--over and over--that he was more than capable. "Well, I guess that's one way to definitely blend in..." Naruto looked at himself. "But who needs to blend in!? *I* sure don't need to! I would love to meet Chidori, Kunai," he said kindly. Huh, the teme named one of kids after his special move? Well, he did learn that move from Kakashi-sensei... Nevermind. Naruto tilted his head at Kunai's description of her daughters. "Sounds like Kunoichi just needs a bit of tough fatherly love. Or maybe uncle love!" Naruto piped up. "Yeah, cuz you know, Itachi would be perfect!" He looked between Itachi and Kunai and suddenly grinned wide. Actually, the two together would be perfect. Itachi was the type to kill to protect those he cared for deeply. Though Itachi seemed like an insane killer for murdering his entire family, it was later found out--here Naruto winced as his head hurt from the memories--that Itachi had done so because the Uchiha family had (except for Sasuke) had gotten deeply involved in a plot to overthrow their home village. When Naruto found out the truth, his respect for Itachi went through the roof. That decision must have been one of the hardest decisions Itachi had ever had to have made... and Sasuke still didn't know. Even if he did, though, Naruto doubted it would make a difference at this point. I'll do something about Sasuke-teme. Naruto looked at Itachi and Kunai again. For both of them... and for me.

The blue mare smiled seeing the optimism in Naruto's eyes. It always warmed her heart to see positive nature outshining the bad vibes of a darker source. She looked at Itachi shaking her head, "Truth. He has to learn amongst what is imprinted in his brain. He never truly told me what happened between you and him rather, only the outcome". She sighed then resumed her words, "Only you can get through to him Itachi. Sure Naruto can try but you have to be the one to show him into the light. I thought I was doing the right thing helping him but it only fueled his hate more." She looked downward toward the ground, "Naruto, honestly though he needs a lesson. While yes you guys are rivals..." she paused and blushed in spite of herself. She couldn't say it she just couldn't because what she had gone through was a plot device. She knew full well where Sasuke's broken mangled heart lie in waiting for. He just couldn't express it as well as it wanted him to. Instead, he was brash, bad natured, and sometimes a spoiled brat that had lost something he couldn't regain.
Clearing her mind she focused on the canines and mused at the thought of Ramen making the boys stop bickering. For a long time she was undecided on Sharingan as he was tied to Sasuke but in the events that followed after she saw him in a different lense. The hard-edged exterior actually held a soft heart buried deep inside with affection. "Ramen... There you are. I thought you were lost after everything". Little by little she was feeling better but that's because she felt safe at the moment.
Ramen wagged her tail continuing her ploy of paying attention to the quarreling males. She mused looking at Kyuubi, "Yep I'm here and so is Sharingan". It wasn't hate between them just a pastime they enjoyed from her point of view. Perhaps the bickering and name calling was more of "brotherly love" in a sense. She yipped happily then perked her ears at Kunai's voice, "I'm fine. No worries". Then she bounded over toward the blue mare standing on two legs and motioned her to bring her head down closer with a little whine that came from her throat. Once her request was answered she would give a little lick on the mare's cheek of reassurance and happiness.
Sharingan growled a bit then thumped his tail at the sight of Ramen. He'd never show his true love for her because she was divided between him and Kyuubi but a little expression never hurt, "Yes. Here I am... Deal with it". His teeth showed a little more in response but he didn't slip into attack mode. He more so just kept his eyes on that wily fox than anything. Clearing his throat he looked at Naruto, "He needs his a** kicked royally. I'm not too keen with even talking to you as I am.. but yes Sasuke needs to wake up. I can only do so much myself before I head into danger". His eyes eyes darted to Itachi, "I've lived for years with him in that other life. I've seen what he seen so I know his pain. But, being a soul that is part of your family Kunai is right in her words. You are the one that needs to break that barrier and open his mind. He's never going to be able to do it himself." The black wolf sneezed for a moment then yawned. There he said what was on his mind and it rather felt nice. Openly, the black male wolf couldn't say what he really felt but honestly in this point and time it was enough.

"I don't think that it's myself that needs to break Sasuke out of his avenging," Itachi spoke in a grave voice. "That is why Naruto is essential. I've left all of my hopes with him." Itachi always wondered if the choices he'd made were the right ones, but he couldn't change the past. He could only do what was necessary in the present. "In light of your words, Sharingan, perhaps you can share with us this pain Sasuke had." Being the genius he was, Itachi didn't really need to know. He had instigated that pain, after all. But he was, first and foremost, a ninja. And a ninja was ever loyal to his village, family blood ties or not. He closed his eyes as the scenes of when he murdered his family flew across his mind. All of them except for Sasuke. Sasuke had been innocent in all of it; Sasuke had known nothing. It pained Itachi with constant remorse and regret that he, as the elder brother, had to do something like that to his younger brother, whom he cherished so much. A ninja is ever loyal to his village.Naruto blushed lightly when Itachi said all of his will and hopes were riding on his shoulders. Then he grinned with determination. "Yeah! Let's train after we make sure Kunai's safe, Itachi. I bet Sasuke-teme won't understand anything unless I kick his butt in gear." Naruto knew that getting physical wasn't necessarily the best solution, but Sasuke never heard words. He was so obsessed with his vengeance that words flowed in and out of the duckbutt's ears. The only words Sasuke heard clearly were the ones in his head. "Why are you blushing, Kunai?" She was right, they were rivals. "We're rivals! Well, that b*****d doesn't believe it, but he can't ignore me forever! I'll make him see we're rivals!!" he declared in his usual outgoing, boastful way. "He's like... like something I have to deal with before I become Hokage, you know?" Deep within his subconsious Naruto knew better. He and Sasuke weren't just rivals, or even friends, they were much more, but what, Naruto refused to look further. He snorted at the sarcastic replies from Ramen and Sharingan. He growled, little bits of jealousy flowing through his emotions. Kyuubi couldn't figure out why he let Ramen sink through the chinks in his armor, but she did, and he couldn't really push her away. "Oh, you want me to deal with it, do you?" he sneered. He wasn't in a teasing mood anymore. Ramen would always defend Sharingan. Kyuubi hated it, but regardless, he needed to let off some steam. "How about I deal with it, then!" he barked, and tackled Sharingan with vicious bites. "This is a little gift from me for keeping Ramen all to your lucky little pathetic self," he hissed in Sharingan's ear.

Sharingan bared his teeth as his jaws snapped back at the fox that intimidated him. Using his paws he pushed back in a furious manner ready to dismember that pain in the a** once and for all. But, he just laughed as hard as he could knowing that fox was jealous that Ramen liked them both. His sides hurt to the point he thought he'd wet himself as she attacked back in amusement to taunt the hell out of Naruto's companion. "Oh ho ho! You are jealous! See coyote you will never beat me! Not in in thousand years". The black wolf rolled as he snapped and tried getting the upperhand on that little cur. After everything that happened previously this was more of a game this time around.
Kunai looked a bit lost as the two canines started tussling around on the ground looking more like two snapping dust mops. She in spite of everything laughed aloud. She knew the two stallions would look at her in a quizzical manner but for the moment these two rival canines held more love for each other family wise then they even noticed. It felt good to laugh letting her body tremble with a single spell of happiness washing away the miserable rainclouds that followed her around. When at last it fleeted from her system she looked at the stallions more serious now, "I think.... training would do us all some good really. It's the only way this shoulder is going to loose the stiffness. I'm tired of hiding behind others as I always have. My father would've been ashamed of me if he was still around" she said with a heavy sigh then turned to look at Itachi, "Would you happen to know anything Sasuke didn't? I mean you're a more seasoned ninja. Maybe you can help me overcome this trial in my life" she asked watching him intently. If anyone knew Kunai personally that was a determined look she gave especially as a foal. She'd would've given anything to make her parents proud along with Naruto and even Sasuke. He still reminded her of a festering wound but deep inside she knew there could be hope for him. But, it wasn't from her which she learned the hardway.
She then turned to Naruto, "I've learned so much as a foal from you both which i'm grateful. But, to heal from this nightmare I need someone stronger that can ease their mind and focus on the task at hand. Father was really good at it from what I saw before he left". She looked downward and blushed a little knowing her heart was giving her away as usual. Sasuke's brother was a mystery which she wanted to learn more about and possible see if he'd be able to work with her personally. He seemed so much more mature then Sasuke which was intriguing even if she wasn't a spring yearling anymore.
Looking away she sighed, "I just.... I want to become stronger that's all. I mean I even have a student named Shirahime who I'm teaching to be a great ninja. But, if I can't be strong in my own eyes how much of an influence am I going to make on another". She suddenly slid down on her hindquarters till she was seated firmly upon the grass beneath her. She refused to be weak holding back in the tears that welled within her eyes. She had to be strong for Chidori, Min Mae, and even Kunoichi if she could reach her. There were evil things in the world and hiding from them wasn't going to make the situation any better rather it gets worse. Sniffling she turned her head as a tear escaped without permission. She had to become stronger no matter what it took. No matter what the cost she had to overcome this roadblock within her life.
Ramen pulled back when the two wolves started quarreling looking very terrified. She hated when they fought but there was nothing her little inner will could do to stop it. She simply watched them roll over the ground like a rabid two-headed creature. First Sharingan's laughter took her by surprise but then Kunai's followed after. Possibly, this quarrelling was mere play that ensued between the two of them not out of hatred but out of love. She noticed this in Naruto and Sasuke when they were near each other whereas the Fox and the wolf they were friendly rivals. Oh, she'd never reveal this to either of them nor the two stallions. Call it shewolf intuition that broadened her way of thinking.
She watched everyone then carefully then made a whimper as she noticed Kunai's related depression. She quickly padded over to the distressed sitting Soquili then placed a paw on her leg carefully so the injury wasn't bothered. Her little bright blue eyes peered up at the mare knowing she was shedding tears. This in turn made the little female wolf feel sorry for her.
"Kunai. You will become stronger. We'll all help you" she whimpered with a tiny little gurgle in her throat. Kunai was a strong mare reduced to a crying yearling the rest of her life if things didn't change.
The black wolf was so tied up in his brawl with his rival that he didn't realize what was going on. Eventually he toned down the insults and watched the others perking his head in curiousity as Ramen instinctively went to Kunai. At first he grumbled that Kunai was having a breakdown again but, he saw something more with Ramen. Her words touched him like little shivers up his spine as he watched the display before him. Sweet observing Ramen who usually concealed herself in the bushes was sitting next to the blue mare consoling her. This turn of events made him confused and yet his wonderment of this shewolf made him proud. Pulling himself to his own feet he left Kyuubi behind him walking to the mare's opposite side. While he wasn't the openly caring individual he did speak, "Yes we will. All of us" he growled looking back at Kyuubi as he seated himself beside Kunai, "I may be his eyes but I have sight of my own. I'll help you anyway that I can". It was hard saying that so honestly coming from a black gruff wolf that followed Sasuke around because he had to. He hated what that Uchiha brat had none to Kakashi's daughter.
