 As Pawsa sat outside the cafe at one of those two-seat tables, she slid her cup back and forth on the table in front of her between her rather large paws. It wasn't that she had been there long, really the girl was pretty damn early, but she was feeling bored and mostly anxious. Why was she anxious? Well this was actually a first official meeting with someone she had met online. It wasn't one of those 'hey! we're best buddies, so let's meet up and hang out!' sort of things. This was in regards to something that was life changing... finding someone to imbue stones with. One thing she had always wanted was a big family to love, but it was also a bit nerve wracking since her family life had been so rough. Though, if she were to be perfectly honest, she also felt like this was just a low blow hit by life... having to find someone online to even get to this point. She felt pretty pathetic to a degree. Not that there was anything wrong with the situation, but that she just couldn't find anyone. Maybe she was too damn abrasive? Maybe she wasn't all that like she thought she was at times.
... and then, of course, she realized that her thoughts were reflecting on her facial features and the way she was acting as she sat there more than she thought. Clearing her throat, Pawsa wrapped her claws about the cup and held it as she sat herself up straight. Yup... this was just great.Cinnamon Panda ignore the requote on this... saw a typo and it was bugging me XD

 Blair was a bundle of nerves as he walked towards the coffee shop his online acquaintance had suggested as their meeting spot. Luckily it wasn't one of the places Leviathan students most frequented, so hopefully he wouldn't run into anybody he knew. He'd never hear the end of it if they found out the reason he came out today. This wasn't exactly a date. He'd been on a few of those - set up by his roommates - and he never really got anything out of it. Romance was not his thing, and neither were other 'adult' activities.
But still, the purpose of today's meet-up was still a rather private one. Despite not being a dating type of person, he still wanted a family. Or to be precise, a child or few. He'd been thinking of imbuing for a while now, but had to his dismay found out he had extremely little innate magic in him. It would be nigh impossible for him to imbue alone, and even with a partner he'd likely need some temporary magic boost.
So, out of frustration he'd turned to the 'net for help. Luckily there were numerous sites specifically made for helping people meet individuals with similar desires and needs.
He'd eventually gotten a message from someone who'd introduced herself as Pawsa, and she too desired to become a parent but didn't feel like having the hassle of a relationship. After a few chats, they'd agreed to meet, hoping to get along alright face-to-face as well.
After all, if they were to imbue stones together, they would have siblings who'd deserve to know each other and their other parent. So it was in everyone's best interest that the parents would at least tolerate each other.
Spotting a lady with particularly colorful attire sitting by herself, Blair quickly recognized her as the same person in Pawsa's profile picture. Somewhat stiffly, the hybrid walked up and waved with a sheepish smile.
"I.. really hope you haven't been waiting here long", he said with an awkward chuckle. "And that sounded really cliché.. off to a great start already, huh."itsie bitsie spider Omg sorry for the novel @n@'

It didn't take long for Pawsa to find herself in her own little world once more. When left to her own devices she could be quite the daydreamer -- or space cadet as some of her friends would say. Her thoughts wandered to things like 'what if he used a fake picture online?' 'how does he take his coffee?' 'would he drink a coffee he didn't like to be polite?'... seeing as she had bought one for him as well that was sitting across the way from her own seat. 'how does he feel about paper football?'. That latter thought coming to mind as she fumbled through making one out of a pamphlet left on the table about the cafe and whatnot.
With a grin, she slid her own cup next to the one waiting for the potential baby daddy and flicked a claw at the paper football she had lined up. ... "SCORE!" she shouted as the paper football went right between the 'goal posts' and threw her hands in the air. Of course her victory wouldn't be official until she did a shimmy! And shimmy she did! A few onlookers gave odd glances for probably about the millionth time now, but she just grinned back at them this time.
The sound of a rather cute voice pulled her attentions to the owner of said voice, and she grinned all the more... both at how pretty damn cute he was, and the way he started their convo. "I might have, but I gotta say now that I'm getting a look atcha, that the wait was worth it~" Practically jumping up out of her seat, she threw her arms around the guy and hugged him tight. "I am seriously so excited to finally be meeting you! And seriously, your profile pic does not do you justice." she said, adding in a wink. "I wasn't sure what you like to drink, so I got you some sort of crazy specialty drink they had today. It's not terrible, if that helps any!" And she might have been making a fool of herself, but she couldn't help being overly excited now!
