Prehnite, was an absolute mess. A bruised, exhausted, half limp mess. Leaning up against the wall he was all but tethered to by his wrists behind his back. He knew it, hated it. Wasn't even going to bother hiding it at this point. There was no reason to keep up a facade of calmness, to act under any imagined pretense that rescue would be coming quickly.
No one knew where they were. It made sense now, if he couldn't sense anyone else, then it wouldn't be possible for them to sense him either? Right? Was it only him? Was it because he was a Lieutenant?
He didn't know, if it were something about the space they were keeping them in...or maybe the individual cells..were they even on earth?
Not, that it really mattered. No one, would be looking for him. Especially not him. Hopefully, someone would come for the others. He was sure some of them had people to see, places to be. Loved ones and all that. At least, he wasn't leaving anyone waiting...Maybe his plants, but, they could go a lot longer without water than he could.
Certainly, they didn't have half crazed Knights questioning them. Maybe this was his penance though. For going after the Order and their ilk.
Prehnite chewed meanly on all of his own thoughts, staring blearily at the door, and waiting.....

Erebus hadn't been planning on visiting any of the captive Chaos agents, not really. He was torn between understanding that they needed the information and not feeling comfortable with the idea of what some might do to get that information. Since he was bouncing back and forth on the fence he just planned on taking a step back and just keeping a vague eye out to make sure there wasn't a lot of mistreatment. But he had ended up deciding to make a quick rounds, just to see how things were and if the agents were being treated right. So here he was walking thru the area set up for the 'prison' for the agents and the first one he came across ended up being a familiar face. He blinked in surprise for a moment before raising an eyebrow at Prehnite and crossing his arms. "Bad luck?" he asked as he took in the Negaverse agent.

He had to see it, they said seeing was believing right? He couldn't believe people who claimed to be good, called themselves order, would do something like this but than he kept reminding himself that it was possible. When those who were good became obsessed with it and wanted to snuff out everything they deemed lesser...it could happen. Order needed disorder and light needed dark - a balance. Why these people wanted to unbalance things...but weren't things already balanced too far on one side? It seemed like it might be...so was this to help that? To help balance things out? But why kidnapping and, he'd heard, torture? That wasn't needed...it was dishonorable and distasteful.
He had to see it - the proof. He hadn't wanted to come here, to see the level of depravity some could fall to, but here he was heading for one of the cells. He wasn't expecting the faces he saw, or the new uniform. "Erebus...and you." He said turning his dark eyes onto the purple haired Lieutenant. "What he doing here?" He asked motioning to the captive even as his dark eyes looked for injuries. "Not hurt?" He asked the captive.

Somewhere out in the great vastness of the cosmos, a truly powerful being must have existed, one who's soul purpose was to torment him. If Prehnite hadn't believed in gods of mischief before, he sure as hell did now.
It was almost good though, to see a face he knew, even if it was all dressed up In a new suit. ******** that was what landed him here, but no..no, they wouldn't really stoop so low. It couldn't have been the punk a** page with an oar, who'd set this up..right? "Like a black cat, walking a mile of broken mirrors...underneath every damned ladder in the city." Prehnites grin had a slightly crazed glint to it "You though, you look good..did they give you new toys too?" It stung his pride, so badly, knowing the brat was a squrire now...and he was still lowest of low on his own totem pole.
Then there were two, and he couldn't help himself, he started laughing. As hoarse and terrible as it sounded, until his eyes watered. He really just couldn't stand it; the pair of them, here, of all people. "I'll live, I promise. I swear though, if either of you ask my rank or name..." He chuckled weakly narrowing his eyes at the pair. He didn't quite care if he were hurt or not. In this particular moment. He didn't want Venice's kindness, wanted to condemn the page for even offering it.
"Hell just...what do you people want? Don't any of you talk to each other!" They were enemies right? That was the only thing that made sense....

The agent's words almost got an amused smile out of the Squire but he stamped it down since the situation itself wasn't very amusing. "No, not new, just upgraded." He said in reference to his oar. He had no plans on showing the Lieutenant though, not while he was a captive. Erebus looked from Prehnite to Venice when the Page came in and gave a small shrug after a nod in hello. "He was obviously caught with the others." The laughter that the agent gave made him wince a bit but but he refused to show it. "Wouldn't need to ask you for your name and rank anyway." He said then blinked at the next question. "Yes we talk, though about this we hadn't."

Looking from the agent to Erebus he gave a questioning look to both of them. "Is he ok?" He asked meaning the agent, that laughter didn't sound right. Was something wrong? Was the agent going insane or becoming unstable somehow? He said he was fine, physically maybe but he was wondering about mentally now.
"Not going to ask information." He answered the purple haired figure, following it up with a shake of his head. "Think others want information....or just to hurt." He didn't like this, not at all. Finish an enemy off - don't torture or hold them hostage. Neither was an honorable thing and he hoped Erebus felt the same or similar, he hoped he didn't agree with what seemed to be going on.
"No, did not know he would be here. Came to see if rumors were true." He said. Maybe they were? He couldn't tell at the moment.

Prehnite had to stare at them. How was kidnapping and torture not something worth discussing? Even as a passing curiosity. Especially when concerning a large group of people. We're they afraid of spies?
"I get that you..that they..want information..revenge..Whatever the general idea of 'justice' is. That's completely understandable." Prehnite sighed, irritated; mostly with himself.
"Some sort of order, from the Order, would be appreciated right now....A-any semblance of an appearance of strategy!" He was glad, that at least one of his questions was being answered. These two, obviously, hadn't been in on this, at least not the 'choose a captive' part. Knowing that didn't exactly make him feel any better about his current situation.
If anything, it gave him far more reason to worry.
They weren't in control..no one seemed to be in control..It all felt random, wrong, chaotic in the most incorrect sense. He didn't appreciate being at the mercy of anyone. Not without knowing who that someone was first.
"I would pay, to see a man with a clipboard. Jotting down names, ages and ranks. So that I wouldn't have to repeat myself...because I have.." That had seemed to be the general line of questioning.
Prehnite couldn't begin to fathom how these people even managed to function without some sort of command hierarchy.
He was not 'Ok', and the familiarity of their presence didn't change that one iota. He felt absolutely horrible about being even a little bit glad to see people he'd had less than friendly encounters with. He was pretty sure he'd tried to stab at least one-both of them? Unsuccessfully, but still!
"I...need to know...Why do you care, why are 'you two' here?" If they weren't there for him, then who. Rumors of what? "What's the end game to all of this." Prehnite breathed, fidgeting nervously for a moment against his bonds. He didn't even know how many of his own they had here. He wanted names..numbers..a body count if nothing else. Knowledge of whether or not he'd be joining said body count.
At least the Negaverse was fairly obvious in its nature. Prehnite had always felt that they were the living embodiment of a real life Pinky and the Brain cartoon. Same thing, every night, take over the world. Simple and predictable, even when they were being subtle. The Order though..the Senshi..
Were they going to start taking prisoners now. Keeping hostages. That would have made sense. Except that prisoners needed supplies like food, water..
Just thinking about it was panic inducing. The idea that they'd leave them all there to starve and die; he'd have rather been killed.

Erebus shook his head at Venice's question, not knowing the answer himself. He couldn't really blame the agent for being a bit unhinged if they had indeed been torturing them for information. He eyed the Lieutenant again to take in his bruised and roughed up appearance. He was pretty sure it wasn't far off to say they were torturing the chaos agents. The Squire looked away from Prehnite and stared at a wall for a moment, feeling embarrassed just how obvious it was that they had no real structure to their group. You would have thought that when they came up with this plan they would have set SOME kind of guidelines or schedule or something. How would they know if they had the information they wanted if they didn't keep track of things? It was rather unsettling to think about. Erebus looked back at the agent at the repeated question and gave a sigh. "I needed to see that they weren't mistreating you and the rest. I understand the need for capture and trying to get information but not if they weren't even going to follow the Geneva Convention." Granted it would be harder to get information out of people if they weren't torturing them but how would Order be different then Chaos, be better if they did this?

Was there an end game to this? He didn't know, hadn't heard anything. Who was even in charge, if anyone, was unknown to him and it seemed rather...thrown together perhaps? Or if not thrown together than not very well organized. Should he mention this thought? Should he let the Negaverse officer known this? It might just worry him more, and he could see why someone might be worried by such a thing, it made things far more uncertain than they already were. "Rumors of torture...and injury. Wanted to see if it was true." He answered, his dark eyes sweeping over the others form again as if he might find something - anything.
"Don't know...no one told me." He answered, though he knew he likely shouldn't be telling him anything. He too wanted to know the purpose of this all, what were they going to do in the end.
"No honor in torture...They bring dishonor to themselves, their families, if they hurt others. No answers come from pain, nothing useful." He spoke up as he moved closer to Erebus for some invisible sort of comfort in this. He was new to being a knight and to see this, to hear about this, it was a lot to take in and it was disturbing and wrong on many levels. It bothered him and for a moment he wondered if this side was correct? Where they this far gone into their own idea of what order and good were? Why this? What had led to it and who was in charge of this all?

They knew nothing, no one, and none of that was helpful to him. How nice to know that they were at least decent human beings. He cared a little more for saving his own skin, than the fact that they were uninvolved.
"Don't look to me for your assurance. I haven't spent the entirety of my service pissing others off. Not like some.." So he assumed. He'd heard those screams, caught glimpses of some of the so called 'guards'. None of them were faces he knew.
He was tired, thirsty, sore, basics. He deserved worse maybe, but he'd made a great deal of effort to avoid the other end of anything nasty looking. He had no issue chatting; especially since he knew he didn't have anything anyone wanted.
"It's nice to know that my existence has been denigrated to that of a zoo animal. Except, they'd probably treat the animals better. They do know we don't actually live off of the energy we drain right? We still need water, at least..." Prehnite huffed, wincing slightly as he tried sinking back against the wall. Wishing he could move into something like a comfortable position.
"Listen...In my opinion, none of this has anything to do with information. Not really." Leveling a tired glare beyond the pair of Knights, glad that he'd managed to be left relatively alone for as long as he had been. "This feels like revenge, and it's cute that they want to pull the 'eye for an eye' bit, but none of this will end pretty. Not for any of us." The pair were goddamned adorable, talking about honor and standards.
"Which means you two should ******** off, and stay out of it. You don't want your descriptions popping up on a list...I don't want that." They were right, nothing useful could come of this. They would only stir up the hornets nest, and maybe that was the goal?

Erebus frowned and resisted the urge to fidget. Here was the proof he was looking for that they weren't treating the captives humanely and he really wished that it wasn't the case. "I'm sure between the two of us was can convince someone to start giving water and food out." Seriously, how were they expecting to get any information if they end up starving and dehydrating their captives on top of torture? He especially didn't like that Prehite was convinced it was more about revenge because if the one getting targeted thought so then there was a good chance that it was true. He had been fine with them catching some of the Negaverse agents as he knew information was valuable and they needed it, but he was not fine with how it was turning out. When Venice moved closer he brushed the back of his hand against the others. "Someone has to try and talk some sense into the others though." He pointed out when the agent said they should stay out of it. Not that a Page and a Squire could to a lot but they could try right?

So they weren't providing the most basic of needs...how dishonorable...how cruel! He wanted to do something to fix it...but could he? What would happen if he brought the other water? More importantly did he care? He wasn't about to let someone die from a lack of water, as that would kill a person before starvation would. "Revenge...." He whispered. That didn't sound good and that wasn't the way to do things.
"Being nice to us?" He questioned the Negaverse officer, though there was no hostility or dislike in his voice, just general curiosity. Did the other care about himself and Erebus getting caught in the middle of this?
"Can bring water on our own." He said to Erebus, already deciding he would try and do just that. At least this officer would get water, if he had to fight someone to do so he would. This was night right! "Cannot be about information...how can you get information if they starve or dehydrate and die?" He said shaking his head. "Not about information." No, it was likely revenge and he really didn't like that idea, he didn't want to be apart of such a thing - it wasn't who he was!
"We won't leave...we will help." Or at least he would. He would bring water for the purple haired male. This wasn't right and he would at least try and right this small wrong, it was something. [quote="Natsuko-neko"

Gods why did they have to be such righteous, insane, noble, goody-two shoes! "Your sentiment is appreciated, really, but try and remember who it is 'we' work for. If we get out of here....No, when those of us left alive get out of here? We're not gonna suddenly preach peace and love. Our ways wont magically change, unless there's some starseed manipulation going on." Maybe this was all a..what, anti-corruption set up? He'd heard that usually took some cooperation though. Coercion was more of a Metallia thing..It had it's perks, but still.
"Most importantly, we'll be pissed, blood in the streets kind of pissed. I've already got a face, and the second I can I'm hunting down a name, address. The works.." As if he'd ever forget that horrible energy, and screw power levels. He'd have numbers on his side.
His expression quirked, one eyebrow raising as he leveled Venice with a look "Oh, hell no..I'm just being ******** picky..Star Seeds are like the ice cream of my world, I try not to binge eat, and I only like really specific flavors. Rocky Road, Strawberry, murderers, other dregs of society." Star seeds didn't actually have any taste. That wasn't the point though. "Most Pages just aren't my flavor, and I'd prefer the two of you stay off the main menu. You'd probably make someone sick." He'd been being nice to them..He was also a terrible fighter, but he hadn't exactly been trying to shove his hand places it wasn't wanted either. They hadn't earned that from him.
"Be careful who you help..." Prehnite hissed. He didn't know how to stress this point, but then he wasn't the type of dog that bit the hand that fed him. That wasn't his department. They had people for that, specially trained. The kind that could murder so easily, no matter the enemy, and did make painful examples of their own.
The idea of getting water, of knowing someone else was getting water without the added stress of interrogation.."I ******** you two could just not. Not interfere, not help, not get in our way? That would be good." He didn't particularly like the idea of someone else killing them, not that he had any claim or intention, but the bastards were good people..Good human sorts of people, who weren't also creepy magical invaders from other planets.

Erebus nodded when Venice said they could bring water on their own. They could do that but he might mention later on that they would need to make sure to bring water for all of the captives and still have to make sure no one stopped them from doing this. He looked over at Prehnite when he started to say how once they were free they would be gunning for revenge on their own. "I get that Chaos is all for revenge, but with some Order apparently also for it this could easily end up escalating the war farther. This war started with revenge and adding more on top of it is going to end up making sure the war lasts even longer." He said with a sigh. He wasn't really trying to convince anyone of anything, just making an observation. "Sorry, but after seeing this? I don't think either one of us will be able to stop ourselves from helping even if it is just to bring water to everyone."

"Let them, will understand." He added his own answer to the officers comment about what the Negaverse would do. "Would also. Such dishonor they bring by these actions." He added. He would help as much as he could before than and hopefully make it out of this safe, he didn't need to get caught in the cross fire when chaos came to get these people out.
"You work for chaos...can't forget. But balance needs both light and dark. Cannot remove all of one or the other is no longer in balance." He knew who this person served, well sort of in a round about manner. He knew only so little but he understood chaos, though he didn't feel neutral as chaos should. He felt dark...but even so that was needed as well. For everything light there had to be something dark. It was how things were kept in balance and in harmony.
"Will help you all, if we can, with water. Won't get in the war when chaos comes for you. But cannot let this continue." He had to help and do something, even if it was just giving them water. He agreed with Erebus on this and he was going to dig his heels in on this one. "Won't let you die of thirst." He said nodding his head, dark eyes firm and determined. He would see to it that water was brought, if he had to deal with some knight or winged senshi he would. It wasn't like he couldn't lie his way into giving them water anyway, he was sure he could. How could you talk to, much less get information, from someone who was too dehydrated to talk or worse yet was dead from thirst? Defeated the purpose, that was if the purpose was information though. For some it certainly may not be, he was beginning to dislike his side in this war...but he didn't like the other side either.
