Sailor Ferris hated powering without Callisto. It felt uncomfortable, but she had a responsibility. So she tried to skirt around tonight to do her job, but didn't really want too close, so when the Senshi crept near the hill, she was surprised by the figure there. Her head tilted, and briefly she considered checking her phone, but she instead bounced towards it a bit, putting on a confident face as she moved, and waved curiously. She'd no idea there had been a meeting, or similar, instead having had been home watching a movie, but this surprise? Was fascinating. "Hey, bud! What has a guy out here? I mean, you being chased?" Was it an enemy? She could try protecting him! Really!

Caedus was walking around the hill he had claimed for himself; it was a slow walk, as if he were either tired or extremely interested in everything around him. He was not alarmed by the presence of a senshi; he had already received a few visitors. …Except all of them had known who he was. He glanced up at her, golden eyes flashing beneath his shadowed hood. "Not that I know of," he answered hesitantly. "I do not recognize you. What are you doing here?"

"Patrolling." Ferris blinked, and motioned. "Less likely to feel bad doing it without someone out here than in streets I might run into them on." The senshi tilted her head. Was he an alien? Or Youma? Or if he was an Alien... "Uh. Are you an Alien from Zeta Reticuli?" She asked, blinking. "I mean." Glowing eyes? The Senshi was so confused.

"No," he said slowly. "I have never been any of the Reticulum territories. I am Caedus. But I am not from Earth. You are not an alien from Zeta Reticuli, I presume. How do you know of it?" He seemed genuinely interested; though his eyes were fierce, they did not carry any hostility. From what he had gathered, these Earthlings were almost exclusively Earth-Bound, and he was interested in correcting any misinformation he might have obtained or assumed.

...Yup. This was an alien, and Ferris' brows raised. "No, I just hear things at work. Like people talking about grays and stuff." She blinked. "Like... Conspiracy theories... Uh... I work in usic but people talk. You?" ohdeargodhowdidyoualien.

Caedus did not seem to understand the question and cocked his head to the side. "…I recently crawled out of the Rift and an trying to gather enough energy to get back to my home planet. Several Senshi and Knights have volunteered to aid me. I am waiting here while I try to recover my energy, while they are helping charge my crystals. No one has told you this?" he asked, tilting his head and seeming almost a bit worried. He did not expect himself to be vastly important, but it was at least a bit concerning if this one was all alone and had no idea what was going on around her.

"Nope." Ferris shrugged, as if it was common. "I don't see others often except Sailor Callisto. Some bossy senshi sometimes too, but s' about it. Mostly Callisto. I don't know really what goes on." The senshi tilted her head, curls bobbing as she blinked. "From what I've noticed it's pretty common if you ain't around for group things. Why d' you need energy? Doesn't that hurt people? You aren't going to hurt anyone are you?" She refrained from asking if he might hurt Callisto - if she got a yes, she wasn't sure she'd be calm. But she wasn't agitated. She had one too many questions still.

He shook his head. "I have crystals that can absorb energy. They do not hurt anyone. I do not want to hurt anyone. I want only to go home." He paused. "And to see the Negaverse disbanded. I have promised to open a portal to Beryl's Castle in exchange for aid gathering energy. That energy will power my trip home, and support the means to access the stronghold of the Negaverse." He was quiet for a moment, fidgeted, and then asked, "Would you like a crystal? I gave them out at the meeting."

Was she frightening someone again? Oh no. Ferris internally face-palmed, and nodded, before blinking. The Negaverse she had some vague understanding out from Callisto. The energy.... Well she had no idea if it was good or bad, but he seemed okay at least. Scared. "Sure!" Ferris chirped cheerily. She sat then, grinning. "So where are you from then? Is it far?" She was eager to learn from somebody, at least. But then, she did rarely go out powered tely without Callisto. She didn't like it.

"Sometimes it is far," he replied. "We travel all over this galaxy. This universe. One of the benefits of a synthetic planet is that we go where we want to go. Though, it is not all perfect. My planet is wonderful, but it requires much care. Unlike the natural order of things, we require constant maintenance. We need to acquire the resources needed to sustain the planet and our people. But we are a flourishing race. Nothing can destroy us. I am surprised we have not made contact with Earth, but…" A part of him sounded disappointed, but the emotion left his voice promptly. "It is the smartest choice to avoid a planet saturated with Chaos."

"Synthetic?" Ferris blinked, head tilting before she blinked and nodded slowly, shrugging. "Sounds pretty neat." So no home region. Travelling planet. Someone had to know in science what to call a wandering planet. Probably someone smarter than she. "So you all fly around in a planet? Can it blow up other planets?" ...Of course her mind went to Star Wars, she supposed. She only sold the soundtracks a lot lately.

Caedus paused with her last question, and he seemed somewhat guarded. "Why would you ask a question like that? …Do you want to blow up other planets?" The question was hesitant, as if he were trying to understand why she was asking before he answered. "…There are many weapons out there. Certainly ones that are capable of blowing up whole planets. But to actually do such a thing…I think would be a terrible crime. That is so much destruction. So many resources would be lost."

"I've seen movies with weapons the size of planets that can do that so I wasn't sure if your people were like that." She wasn't sure of a lot of things, honestly. Except music, but that... Did he have music? At least he seemed repulsed by a sith lord's deeds and she relaxed a little bit. "Sorry, I just... Never met an alien before." She admitted, forgetting, sadly, to him, she was the alien.

He was quiet for a moment, and then reassured, "You do not need to apologize. There is much to learn. Be glad for that. Life would be boring and empty without knowledge to pursue. There are weapons the size of planets. We have the technology to build them. But We pursue knowledge and enrichment of our life. Not the destruction of others. I have no taste for violence. But," he shrugged. "Sometimes violence is the only answer. We have needed to defend ourselves before."

"So wee any of your enemies ever aliens that hugged your face and had their young erupt from a host?" Ferris asked curiously. She doubted there were Xenomorphs, but she was curious all the same, even if her experience was... Limited, and clearly so. The senshi shrugged, not in a hostile position, but rather a neutral. "I mean, some movies say those exist. Wondering how much is imagined and how much isn't." And then she'd go STRAIGHT to Callisto with it to giggle, but that... That was common now.
