It had seemed initially like any other day on Deus. Sure the morning was probably more chilly than norm, but Kyle didn’t pay much heed to it as he went about his morning ritual after dragging his grumpy self out of bed to turn off the alarm. One hot shower as well as a light breakfast that consisted of a cup of freshly brewed coffee and an apple later, the Sun hunter was in a much better mood as he went through his things on his side of the wardrobe to pull out a set of gym attire to change into, figuring that the temperature would either right itself as the day progressed or not bother him as much once he was done with his running for the day.

Except that things didn’t exactly turn out the way that they normally do this time round.

It seemed that the further Kyle got from the dorm, the colder it became. In fact, it got so cold to the point that the Sun could even see his own breath misting as soon as the warm air left his nose and mouth. That was about the time when he decided that he’d better start heading back. Something was seriously off about the weather today and…

Holy s**t.

It was snowing.

Hard.

He ran, ducking into one of the cluster of uninhabited houses that he had spotted in the distance. He was definitely not dressed for this kind of weather and he could only hope that the incoming snowstorm would eventually stop as quickly as it had come. Shutting the windows and the door to try to keep the cold out, he rubbed his arms and forearms a few times with his hands, barely managing to suppress a shudder as he pulled out his phone to shoot a quick text to a certain older Moon hunter.
