Rayolun

Ryaolun was bringing Riona over to Kelina's place for the afternoon. With Lasarra busy with her training and Lasyenn helping her he was at odds with what to do. He knew Riona wanted to go with him hunting but he was hesitant to take her into the wilderness at such a young age.

So he settled for taking her over to see her cousins... and wondered if Kelina had had anymore children since he'd last seen her.

"Riona, hurry up! We're going over to aunty Kel's place." He called up the stairs to where her nursery room lay.

Kel had heard that Ray was going to be coming over and so she figured she would make some food. The remainder of her family were either out doing their chores or using their spare time away from home, which wasn't all that bad, the house was quiet for once. Vepkhia hadn't been all that noisy lately after she consented to go to Oba with them so there was plenty of packing and preparing to do. "Veppy, did you put those mushrooms in the stew?" Since she was home Kel made her help with the food. She'd have to learn how some day!

Rayolun

He chuckjled and headed up to pick her up. She was just complaining! Once they got to Kel's house he knew she'd be up and happy and chattering away.

"What, you don't like aunty Kel? Or your cousins?" He teased as he picked her up before she could scamper under her bed to hide.

"Even though just last week you said Kel was a better cook than me?" He cradled her against his chest and headed out; the less chance he gave her to escape or complain the better! Riona tended to get easily distracted until you gave her something to work on that she liked; she'd find someway to get out if he didn't hurry!

Kelina

Kelina smiled as she saw Vepkhia slide the mushrooms in at last minute. Sometimes she reminded her so much of Sauron it was unreal. It was then that she heard the knock on the door. "Come on in Ray!" That was when she noticed that Riona was cradled against Ray's chest which made Kel smile. She knew her sister's children could be little devils of their own sometimes. "So glad you could make it Riona."

Kelina took the rest of the vegetables she had been cutting and put them in the pot. "Lunch isn't quite ready yet because someone forgot to put the mushrooms in." She teased her youngest and poked her side. Vep had grown a little bit as they had adjusted her diet slightly but their youngest still had issues with her health. She and Sauron still had that trip to Oba planned to hopefully get some more information as to what was actually going on with the poor girl.

"Because you are far too small and would make a tasty meal for far too many beasts." Was all he said to Riona. They'd gone over it alot; and he had a feeling it would have to keep being said until she finally was large enough he could take her out and start teaching her. He'd love to take her out; but she was far too much a rascal and wanted to touch everything, poke this, pull that.. with the amount of danger in the jungle and poisonous things... he wasn't willing to risk it until she was older can could sit still for more than five minutes.


He smiled when greeted and chuckled; "They are busy with the animals. I wouldn't have minded the mushrooms being forgotten!" He winked at Vepkhia; "You should have hidden them." He whispered to her. He didn't mind mushrooms, he'd eat them if needed. But they always had a weird texture...

Kelina

"You can always leave the mushrooms on the side or slip them into Riona's bowl." Kelina said quietly to Ray. She sort of missed when her kiddos were that small yet then again, it was nice to have them grown up a little bit where they could help out with things around the house. Especially with Kresimir gone it sure was nice. "You're completely right Riona! It'll make you grow big and strong!" She flexed humorously. "That's why when you get big you'll probably be stronger than your dear ole dad." Kel was grateful that all her children liked most things, it definitely made things way easier.

He chuckled as Riona pointed out how he didn't eat everything.

"As an adult and daddy, I don't have to eat everything! I'm already big and strong. You kids need to eat more than me and eat all on your plate to grow up big and strong." He retorted with a grin. "Texture is weird. I'd rather eat meat anyways." He told Vepkhia. "Not as weird as the shellfish I bring back but those at least taste good."

He looked over at Kel; "Thanks for having us over today. I am at my wits end trying to keep Riona out of my tool shed or away form my weapons." He spoke softly so Riona might not hear.. she probably would but at least he could try!

Kelina

Kelina couldn't help but laugh a little bit about Riona's reactions. She imagined it must have been what Lasarra was like when she was younger, younger than when before they had just met at least. Seze was a little similar, always having so much energy.

She turned to Ray and gave him a sympathetic smile. "Little ones can be difficult sometimes, but in the end, they're definitely worth it all." Riona and Lasseyn were Ray and Lasarra's first children and she remembered just how hard it was to adjust. "You should know you all are welcome here anytime and Sauron and will do anything we can to help you both. They say it takes a village to raise a child and sometimes I definitely believe it!" Kelina would always do anything she could to help out her sister's family, they were her family too anyway.
