Prehnite was not, for once, in the middle of raiding starseeds or sucking the energy out of deserving citizens. He'd thankfully already met his quta for the night! Dragging the pair of unconscious punk kids behind some nice thick bushes, and dropping them unceremoniously into the leaf litter. To be fair, they had been trashing the park....
To be even more fair, Prehnite had wanted an easy target tonight. Something that he hoped for once wouldn't draw more attention than necessary. He was sick of seeing pages.
Casually admiring the scene and his handiwork, buzzing with renewed energy as he casually began walking off...Maybe he'd even take his time going home tonight.

"That wasn't very nice." Her voice came from just across the way, a lone figure standing with arms crossed over her chest. She had been watching for a short amount of time; long enough to see the Nega dragging the miscreants off of the path. By the time she had arrived it was too late to stop him from what he had been doing, but she could certainly rough him up a little for having done it... "What exactly do you goons get out of taking energy from others? What's the point? Have they even told you what you're doing?"

Prehnite couldn't help but sigh, turning his narrow gaze on the lone figure speaking at him. He should have known he'd be disturbed, it was a becoming pattern. Couldn't a guy go around shoving into bushes without being bothered?
"Tsk..To be fair, they weren't being very nice either. I mean, it could have been much worse than a little nap in the bushes." Turning to face her and drawing his trowel on instinct. He'd had to many encounters by now to expect this one to be just a chat and a slap on the wrist.
"Personally? I consider it my civic duty. We're the sanitary workers of the city, taking out all the human refuse, and all of the energy goes to a better cause...Our cause. A bit like recycling really."
Prehnite chuckled, moving into a defensive stance. "I could ask you the same question though. What are you doing with your powers little girl? Is there even anyone to tell you?"

"Little girl? Please, like I haven't heard that one before. Just because I look young doesn't mean I am, and I've kicked plenty of Nega butt." She snorted, arms still crossed even as he took on a defensive stance. "And you're going to come at me with a tiny shovel? Alright, alright. I guess I can show you what I'm doing with my powers." She flashed him a grin. "I'm Sailor Thisbe, Senshi of Woe and that's about as much of a hint as you're getting, Poison Ivy." Nicknames. He now had one. "Worry a little less about what I know and a bit more about what you don't."

"It's Prehnite, Lieutenant of the Negaverse. Though Poison Ivy does have a nice ring to it." The nickname in itself was, a little endearing. Prehnite couldn't help but smirk. He didn't think he'd ever meet a Senshi he liked. It was nice meeting one as mouthy as he was, who wasn't swinging a weapon around.
He doubted the girl had any more experience than himself, but had learned his lesson enough times. He wouldn't be underestimating this girl...
He couldn't deny that she had a point. He was worried about what the didn't know. That, truly, was his biggest issue with Senshi. One never knew what they were capable of, would this one pelt him with cranberries? Peer into his very soul? Their unpredictability in magic was annoying and nerve-wracking in so many ways. Prehnite liked being able to size up an opponent early on..not knowing things..irked him deeply.
"Do come and teach me a lesson then Thisbe. Show me the full extent of what your name really means." Prehnite's smile widening, before taking trowel in hand, and chucking it at the girl.
In the next step, he was ducking behind a tree and taking off into the park at a run. Let her come catch him then. He wasn't going to stand there and take an attack he knew nothing about..

When Thisbe had gone out that night she hadn't mentally prepared herself for a run. Luckily, one of the perks that came along with being a sailor scout was stamina... And the uncanny ability to run in heels. She ducked his trowel, tossing down her gloves before taking off after him. If he wanted to do things the hard way, then so be it. It wasn't like she hadn't tackled someone before. What was chasing someone down and doing it again?

Prehnite couldn't believe he was really doing this. It was fun somehow, reminiscent of playing tag, but with more dire consequences. As curious as he was to what she could do, he really, truly, wanted to avoid finding out at all costs.
What if she spit acid glitter, or threw cranberries; brought the dead to life! Why couldn't Senshi have been obvious enemies; less sparkly magic bows, more 'lookit my sword!'. He'd felt first hand, what some long ranged attacks were like..unpleasant was the best way to describe that sort of thing.
Prehnite panted, skidding through cold and leaf litter as he took a left at the largest tree he could spot in the dark..and promptly took up into it's branches. Not a coward..just..it was tactical...Hiding in a tree was practical even!
God he hated so much, that he was unable to teleport yet. The second he could, this would no longer be an issue! He could meet his quota with room to spare, and use the excess to just zap himself back home, and happily pass out on is couch!
The idea of girls running in heels would have been delightful, had said heels been attached to a different pair of legs entirely. He realized he hadn't actually taken the time to get a better look at her outfit. She didn't seem to have the same sort of flash and flare he was used to..at least, no bright colors. He hadn't heard her yelling either..no fancy little chant..Maybe he was safe?

She stopped as she entered the clearing, pausing so that she could trust her senses instead of relying on her eyes or ears. She could still feel the chaos energy. He was nearby, but he'd hidden himself. Snorting, Thisbe paused to cross her arms over her chest. " Honestly. You called me a little girl and then you ran away? You know that doesn't say a whole lot about you. Are you afraid of the scout you called a little girl? I think you left your shovel behind too..."

He would be lying, to say he wasn't afraid..Not necessarily of her, but of Senshi in general. Why couldn't he have been bothered by a page? A knight? An angry pack of rabid squirrels...
'Idiot, she can sense you, there's no way she'll simply walk off.'
He watched her, and held his breath. He needed to do something other than hide. Just..suck it up, and honestly attack her. He knew he was stupid to hope she'd get bored and wander off.
He was not however, entirely without his weapon. The particular joy of being able to summon it into his right hand through Negaspace; to actually have enough energy after his recent activities to pull off this one time stunt. It hadn't always worked, but he'd been filling his quotas. Of course, he also wouldn't be so carelessly throwing it around again.
Prehnite gripped his trowel tightly, before leaping from the tree near to land near the Senshi. Immediately moving in to strike out at her ******** her for being nosy anyways...

Thisbe had removed her gloves while listening for him, tossing them down to the ground so that she would be prepared if he decided to pop out of nowhere and surprise her. She should have lowered her hood as well if only so she could hear a bit clearer. The fabric was thick enough to muffle things on either side of her, and she didn't hear his movement until the noise he made right as he leaped for her. She brought her hand up quickly to shield her face, the trowel catching her hand and slicing across her palm. Instinct told her to draw back and panic told her that she should run. She listened to neither of them, instead closing her fingers around his weapon to hold it steady as her other hand went for his wrist. " Veil of Woe." Shiningamisgirl Attack #1 - Veil of Woe! - Woe lands a successful touch attack after removing one of her gloves, lowering her hood to gaze at her opponent. Effects: For a brief moment Woe's opponent (singular) views her as someone close to them in grievous distress, be it a situation from one of their memories or the situation they are currently in (about to be attacked). This is meant to be a disorienting attack. It can also work without her hood, but the effect always seems more powerful when they don't see her face first. Duration: Instantaneous; wearing off after one post.

Prehnite growled at first, no one touched his s**t. If she would have simply let him knock her out, he would have walked away from this! Why did he always run into the stubborn ones?
The anger quickly shifted into shock, fear, as her fingers closed around his wrist. "No, no no, please..I-I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry!" Prehnite panicked, panting as he squeezed his eyes shut trying to shield himself from the vision of it. Suddenly struggling to shove himself away from the figure who had appeared before him. It couldn't be real, he knew it couldn't be real. He wanted it to be real.
Dead people, the magical b***h summoned dead people. It didn't matter though, she was right there in front of him. He could save her, could make up for-for everything! All the lost time!

Thisbe still wasn't entirely sure what her power did, but the reaction seemed to be similar enough each time. It provided her with a distracted as she released her hold on his trowel, curled her fingers into a fist and aimed a solid punch for his face. " a**. That's what you get for calling me a little girl." The Senshi of Woe was one hundred and ten percent done with his nonsense.

The vision seemed to vanish, just as he saw stars, felt pain and tasted copper. Cursing vividly as he kicked out at her, attempting to rid himself of her grasp and get some space. "You're absolutely right, I should have called you little b***h.." Prehnite gritted, gripping his trowel tightly.
Screw her and her ghost summoning bullshit. If that was even what it was. Who willingly did that to another person! It would have been kinder to run around setting people on fire!

She stumbled back from the kick with an 'ooof', hood falling back away from her face as she caught herself. Her glare was cold and angry as she fixed it on him, eyes narrowing. "Ready for round two or have you had enough? I could go all night, Lieutenant." Not really. At some point she was going to have to pause and do something about the cut across her palm, slowly dripping blood to stain the snow beneath her feet. She'd at least make a good attempt at a bluff, though, ignoring the pain for time time being.

Prehnite wiped his mouth off on the back of his sleeve, running his tongue along his teeth as he leveled a glare at the girl. She didn't hit like a girl, normally he would have found that attractive; had he not been livid over the unwanted vision train he'd just disembarked. "You? Are going to turn around and ******** off, before I dig your Star Seed out of your chest." This girl had all the nerve.
"You shouldn't have interfered, and no amount of your creepy magic is going to chase me off. I already gave you the one chance." Prehnite growled, he'd put himself in a goddamned tree. As much as he did not want those ugly images anywhere in his head, if that was all she could do....He felt like he had an advantage for once. Maybe he didn't need to be so absolutely terrified of all these skirts?
"So c'mon spooky, make a choice." Gaze drifting from her relatively pretty face, down to her chest. Focused.
