His thoughts race, anger threatening to even boil up in his current state. This wasn't fair, they were innocent girls. Mirabelle was blind for ******** sake. What kind of savage could do this? Without much of a plan, he began to walk toward the gates. He couldn't decide whether he'd close them and hope they'd just leave them alone, or maybe, maybe he should go to the city. Maybe make an appearance as the killer he truly had become and retaliate the only way he knew how. The way Obscurite had taught him. He couldn't decide, but his outrage easily showing on his face as he walked briskly.

He thought about how he could fight them, he couldn't go get his violin without Deskri asking questions, and that was the last thing he needed. He didn't want to have to lie to Deskri again, but he definitely couldn't bring himself to tell him that Metas were getting hurt in the city. He knew that the word of violence wouldn't settle well with him and it was best not to worry him too much about it. He was safe, and that's all that matter. Rhun was the headmaster after all, this was a problem he needed to deal with. And deal with it he would. Just as soon as he decided what it was he was going to do.

He stood at the gate, debating. Stay Rhun and temporarily lock the gates. Or. Become Rasiel the Killer and make them pay. It was a surprisingly hard decision to make. He ungloved a hand, bringing it to his mouth, ready to bite, to draw his own blood. He was beginning to decide what path he'd choose. He was determined to protect the sanctuary, the metas inside, to protect Melody and Deskri. He placed his wrist forcibly against his mouth, eyes narrowing in hatred as he braced himself for pain.

Rhun bit down hard upon his wrist to puncture into it, causing blood to immediately pool up and run down his arm. It took only seconds before it began to run back up and form a sword made of blood in his hand. The only weapon he had left. The one he had used to kill so many illusions so many times before. His other hand moved up to his mask, gripping it tightly. He had decided what he was going to do. 'Deskri told you to stop fighting, why are you doing this?'

You have to.

'You can't just go around killing people. What would Delilah think?'

It's what the Efficacious Eight would have done.

'What about Melody?'

"I have to protect them.." he whispered as he gripped his mask tighter.

He'd been wandering the grounds again, getting to know it, learning the way it curved and what areas needed more... reinforcement... He had yet to run into any of the other residents... which was curious, to say the least. There were supposed to be several others, but not one had appeared since his arrival. The twins that were supposed to live in the same housing complex hadn't shown themselves either.

He was headed down towards the front gate when he noticed movement - indigo eyes honed in on it, narrowed as he made out who it was... Rasiel, or Rhun, he supposed... he seemed angered. A moment's worth of observation confirmed that when he summoned a blood sword - a unique gift for someone who supposedly had a violin for an item. He seemed as though he were going to do something foolish, so Kreios sped up his pace, eventually meeting him at the gate.

"Going somewhere?" He asked once he was within range. His tone was flat, as per usual, expression devoid of any real emotion, though his eyes slid to the sword in Rasiel's hand.

Rhun kept a hand on his mask, covering his face as someone walked up. They spoke, a familiar tone, it was the incubus. He took a deep breath, his eyes still angrily piercing through his fingers as he seemed very intent on something. "Yeah. I am." he spoke in a low but strong tone. He gripped his sword a little tighter at his side. He kept his eyes forward as he spoke, focused on the path that led to the city. "Someone hurt them." he clenched his teeth without much further explanation. He was too fixated on his intent to make them pay.

He quirked a brow, guard going up even if his stature and body language didn't convey it. That was the look of a man who was about to do something incredibly stupid. "And you think lashing out will solve the problem?" He shook his head. "You will bring wrath down upon this place. Perhaps the danger I foresaw here was nestled within you." He knew that was rather harsh, but harshness had its place. If he allowed him to leave in this state, it would surely alter the course of the future in a negative way.

Rhun was already deep in thought about what he was going to do to the assailants as someone Kreios spoke to him. Rhun didn't react as his eyes pierced angrily through his fingers. "It will if Rhun isn't the one dishing it out." he growled through his teeth, the grip on his sword tightening as it rested at his side. He didn't seem to care about the consequences as he seemed intent on bloodshed in revenge. Within you. A wave of pain shot straight through his heart as his eyes widened.

Even he can see the monster you've become.

He slowly lowered his hand away from his mask, a look of concern and regret swept over him as he loosened his grip on the sword.

Delilah was right. Admit it. You really are a monster.

"..n-no.." he whispered under his breath. His eyes still wide and focused on the ground, the sword became pliable and began to flow back into his wound as it began to bleed normally once more. The blood dripped onto the floor quickly as he stood there frozen, scared of himself, scared of what he had become.

He couldn't help but snort. Did he really think that his alias was separate from who he was? That acting as his "true self" wouldn't affect the life that he lead as "Rhun?" Clearly he did, which was another foolish thing about this man... At least his harsh words had done their job. He was backing down. He watched as the sword lost its shape, blood falling to the ground.

"Every action that you make as your true self will affect this alias of yours. You must think ahead." He honestly had no business lecturing this man. He didn't know what he was about to do and didn't know what prompted it... but he'd been called to provide protection, so protection he would provide.

"Tell me what it is that has you so blinded by anger you would risk the thin veil of safety your sanctuary provides?"

Rhun was still tense, his breath heavy as he tried to calm himself down. Going through the steps in his mind as he collected himself to some extent. At least enough so he could answer without yelling or getting angry. Emotions that Rasiel would have surely displayed in a heartbeat but he had more control. "The twins. They were attacked by two Metas while they were in the city. Pretty badly it seems. They are both unconscious now." he explained, his voice still harboring his deep anger. "They both aren't very strong. One of the girls is blind." the last word his stressed, gritting his teeth. It was a fact that obviously bothered him as whoever had done it had no problems attacking defenseless girls.

"It's just hard not to want to do something about it. I'm so used to using action to convey my feelings..." he admitted, not taking his eyes off the ground as his eyebrows lowered in resentment.

Ah, so that explained why he hadn't seen them yet. He nodded, acknowledging what he'd said. If he knew that much, then they must have gotten medical attention... good. Now if only he could calm down. It was an injustice, but allowing himself to be blinded by vengeance was going to do no one any good, most of all the innocents that had nothing to do with the situation.

"But they are here and safe, now. Yes?" He tilted his head, blinking slowly as he locked eyes with Rasiel. "And what good has acting blindly done you in the past? There are many things that you can do without inciting further hardship on the rest of us without consulting anyone." Another set of harsh truths, but he seemed to respond well enough to having them dished out.

"I can place protective barriers around this place. Whomever it was will not be able to enter if they want to cause harm. However it will also block anyone else out with ill intent in their hearts." He accentuated his words, indicating further that Rasiel should calm down and stop with the needless blood lust, lest he want to be locked out of the sanctuary as well.

Rhun listened to his words. He was right. Painfully right. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment as he did so. "I'm sorry... Forgive me..."

You've always been so selfish.

"You're right." he replied in a calmer voice, as though the words he spoke had truly been absorbed. "Sometimes I lose sight of how my actions affect others. It's a lesson I still haven't seemed to grasp." he admitted. Things weren't so great in his mind, but even as himself, without Obscurite's help, he was still very selfish and reckless at heart. Probably something that she had taken advantage of easily to corrupt him the way she did.

Rhun looked at Kreios, locking eyes. He nodded slowly, "I understand." he acknowledged, fully understanding what he meant by his last sentence. The last thing he needed was to be blocked out of his own sanctuary because of ill intent he harbored for things he could not control. "I'm calm now." he half-lied, he was still unsettled by the situation, but he had quelled his anger with Kreios' words.

It's only a matter of time before you're locked out with the rest of the monsters like you.

"The first step is recognizing where you went wrong." He nodded, then turned to look at the gate.... it would be simple enough to place something here.. Mentally he searched his catalog of sigils, looking for the perfect ones to draw...

"Good. I have sigils for anger, too." He commented dryly as he stepped forward to begin drawing on the bricks near the gate with his finger. Bright purple light spread in a trail where he stroked, and once the sigil was done it showed with a bright light before disappearing from view. He drew another two, and then moved to the other side to redraw all three.

"There. None who bear ill-intent may pass through here. This place is protected. This place is sacred ground." He named off the three he'd drawn, and then looked back to Rasiel. "It should hold for a while. I will need to place them in other places around the grounds, especially near entrances. Do you have a map?"

Acknowledgement that he was at least doing one thing right in all this, he was recognizing his own faults. That was a step in the direction in the right direction, wasn't it?

Pathetic waste of time.

He watched Kreios, 'Sigils for anger?' he thought for a moment. "Can you... use those sigils... on people?" he asked, obviously considering taking up the offer if there had been one. What he wouldn't give to get rid of this anger. Even just the excess of what Obscurite gave him. "A long time ago, a succubus gave me some weird power of hers. It's what keeps making me so uncontrollably angry... Is there anyway to get rid of that?" he asked suddenly, not particularly considering now wouldn't be the best time to be asking such things.

A map. "Oh, uhh, no. I don't, not on me. But I can show you where the walls lead. Honestly, this is the only entrance to the grounds unless you came by sea on the other side. The cliffs make it extremely difficult for anyone to walk in from there though."

He nodded to his inquiry... ah, that would explain the unnatural amount of anger he seemed to harbor. "Yes, it's possible to use them on people." He moved back over to stand near him - just out of arm's length. "I can make you a talisman to keep on your person for emotional stability. As for the reason you have it... you will need to seek an exorcist for that. I don't have those abilities." He shook his head with a small sigh.

"I have walked the border form the housing complex to here, mostly looking for signs of disrepair... But a tour of the full border would be beneficial." He nodded, a little... disappointed that a map wasn't near by. "I can still place wards around the cliffs. They will be less effective, but useful."

Rhun nodded, it was a relief that they could be used on people. Maybe he could finally control his anger fully. Then he wouldn't be such a threat to Deskri anymore. That idea sat very well with him. He nodded, "I'd really like that, if you could." he accepted, then he frowned about the second part of the comment, "oh... That's fine. I'm still looking for answers on that, but at least it will give me more time to figure it out. Thanks, though." he tried to force a smile, he was grateful but the smile couldn't be permanent through his worry over the twins' condition.

He began to walk with Kreios, showing him around the grounds. "The cliffs are beautiful." he commented off handedly as they walked along the edges of the enclosed area, just trying to make idle conversation.

"I will go into town and procure the supplies, then." He nodded. Once Rhun started off, he clasped his hands behind his back, following after his lead. "I have heard of people with the ability to remove unwanted presents from others... You should be able to remove it." He shrugged slightly, eyes scanning the walls as they walked. Occasionally he paused to draw the sigils on parts of them, then returned to Rhun's side.

"I have not been to see them yet, I will take your word for it until then."

Rhun frowned a bit, "Are you sure you should be going into town? Who knows how many other Metas are in that town that seek to harm us." he asked. Despite the fact that Kreios looked very capable of handling himself, anyone could easily be over-powered by numbers. It's how the humans had pretty much won the war and kept control all these years. "I just couldn't stand it if something were to happen to you on my account."

He nodded, at least there was hope for him yet, that he could be rid of the one thing the Obscurite still used as power over him, or so he was convinced. He watched Kreios draw the sigils every so often as they made their way to the cliffside. Rhun could feel an empty ache bury itself deep in his chest as they approached a grave that sat overlooking the ocean on the cliff. He instinctively walked up to it, his expression hard but sorrowful. He shoved his hands in his pockets as he stood in front of the grave.

"Her name was Alice Broken." he spoke softly. This person obviously meant a lot to him. His hair was starting to fall a bit as he sighed. "She was my older sister." he added, his voice cracking lightly. He swallowed hard, then ran his hand through his black hair, getting blood in it. "..s**t..". He sighed again, shoving his hand back into his pocket and began to continue walking, not wanting to stay there any longer. It was just too painful to look at.

You're always hurting those around you.
Why do you even try anymore?
You should just give up.
Everyone that comes here will just die.

Rhun clenched his teeth lightly then shoved the emotions back down as he looked ahead almost blankly as though refusing to feel anything at the moment.

When will you just admit that you lost already? A very long time ago.
