The night was dark and full of shadows. Towering mountains blotted out sky and star, making the night darker still. Shadows consumed all even the moon.
Slipping from the mountain in the dead of night Midna Launched herself off the cliff in front of the cavern entrance. She'd come out here from time to time to practice her flying. After her first encounter with the dark tribe lord she found herself rather embarrassed about the whole thing. Granted she had just woke; still it was unbecoming of a lady such as herself. She always should have grace and poise, it was unacceptable if she didn't. her portrayal shouldn't have any flaws. She'd been making progress too most of her flight was becoming what she'd hoped it to be. She enjoyed the night it was very much a part of her.
Midna's eyes cut through night as though it was day. She glided through the sky circling far above. hmnn? what was that she wondered as something crimson caught her eye. She dived down pulling her wings close to her body before releasing them just above the treetops flying just above the canopy without making a sound. Flapping steadily only to keep herself aloft, the drafts weren't as easy to catch here she circled before landing behind whatever it was silently. There wasn't much that could catch her in her own element, with a few obvious exceptions. Now who was it? From her hiding spot she could see the earth balam with strange crimson mane held together by a ball. What was she doing here and in the dark at night. That was oddly suspicious now wasn't it? The lady's lips curls into a mysterious smile. She'd watch a bit more before making herself known.

Kazumi cautiously watched the dark she really couldn't see, teal eye's squinted, there was a new moon so Kazumi's travels had all but stopped. The Nan was frustrated, and pacing. She wanted to get to the dark tribe as soon as possible but locating a relatively secretive tribe was proving difficult. She'd heard if she just simply ventured into the caves she'd be lost forever! And that simply wouldn't do. She wanted to adapt to the dark as best as she could. She needed a teacher.
The earth Nan started pacing, in frustration out of habit. After only a few steps she hit her face on a low hanging branch she couldn't see. Startled she stumbled backward and landed on her tail relatively ungracefully. A strange laugh seemed to echo around her and Kazumi looked around for the source as she got back to her feet tensing as she did so. Not in fear but in preparation for an attack, she may not be able to defend well without her sight but she'd sure give someone a fight.
The starlight was bright and lovely this evening as midna rested in her hiding place watching the black coated Nan. Now isn't that even more peculiar? shouldn't that nan be sleeping safe and warm somewhere? Midna shifted silently as the nan began to pace in the dark. She watched clearly seeing the tree branch the other nan was about to hit but remained silent. at least until the earth nan stumbled.
"Eeh, hee,"
Midna's laugh seemed to echo around the forest as she silently slipped from her hiding place both graceful and silent. still keeping an eye on the earth nan Midna moved in closer, from behind. The Earth Nan seemed to be ready for a fight but that was hardly her intent. A little mischief couldn't hurt. she'd rather mess with another race than her own unless there was a specific purpose in doing so. .
"look at you, far from home" she teased. Midna was very different around her own kind to them she was always regal, and ladylike and on occasion had a mischievous streak. tonight was one of those nights.The other Nan seemed to be looking for the source of her voice still. Midna picked up a loose branch that was laying nearby and tossed it ahead watching it land in the bushes and the earth Nan's attention was dead focused on that spot as midna came up behind.
"I found you! Now what are you doing here?" she said after coming up right beside her. [250]
