After the Professor X was publicly outed as mutant and the school was destroyed by Xorn posing as Magneto, the Xavier Institute was rebuilt as a much larger facility under the direction of Co-Headmasters Cyclops and Emma Frost. The new school had more dormitories to house the larger student body, a cafeteria, and additional classrooms. The outlet for the hanger bay was moved from Devil's Rock to underneath a retractable basketball court.
After Wolverine left Utopia, with many of the X-Men, he returned to the ruins of the Xavier Institute to found a new school, "Jean Grey School for Higher Learning", in honor of the first student of Professor Xavier.
Headed by Wolverine and Shadowcat, this facility was designed by Beast and incorporated cutting edge Shi'ar engineering. Instead of having a traditional Danger Room, a Danger Room mode is capable of being engaged in any part of the school. The west-wing is an ice-palace constructed by Iceman. The basement houses Beast's lab and the completely self-sufficient power source. The structure also has an indoor swimming pool and free floating towers. The school also has a Cerebra Chamber.

Name: Trevor Griffin & Travis Griffin Age: 19 & 19 Power: Can go into people's minds, putting him in a comatose state while wandering the mind, just by touching someone's forehead & Can manipulate people's thoughts and memories for a short period of time Short bio: The twins were abandoned by their family at a very young age and raised themselves on the streets until they found out about this school. Neither of them really remember their family. Trevor had always been understanding when it came to the fact that he and his brother had been abandoned. Travis, on the other hand, had slowly become more vengeful. The two have always evened each other out, Travis keeping Trevor from getting hurt by being too forgiving and naive, and Trevor keeping Travis from getting into trouble with his temper. How did you find out about this school?: "We were found on the streets by some dude who works here. Not gonna name names, though." What is your personal reasoning for attending?: "We didn't have anywhere else to go. Also, it's kinda cool having other mutants around. And we want to learn more about our powers."
