Dante is an ignorant rebel. He is also very lazy and gets bored easily. He has always had a bit of a cocky and flirtatious attitude. However, he's protective and can be violent to those who hurt his friends. He may also act a little manipulative and teases, but it's all a bit of a game to him.

Dante never really had parents around to teach him anything. He was a youkai child left at the steps of a shrine on Mt. Fuji. He never had many friends aside from the elders of the temple, but they were strict. He never knew anyone his age, and those few kids who did come around stayed away from him because he is a youkai, He truly did feel alone for the longest time.
Then he met someone who would change his life forever. This person was his half sister. He met her when she was still young. She was a bed ridden child, and she was Japanese. He was given an Italian name because the man who gave him to the shrine was an Italian man, assuming he was the son. It turned out his life wasn't as it seemed. He did have a family out there looking for him, but they didn't know where to look. He was found when he was five, and his sister was three. He didn't exactly know how to get accustomed to his new family life, but he did.
His parents told him not to bother with her sister since she wasn't truly going to be considered as a part of the family and its honor. Surprised by the cruelty of his parents, he went against their wishes and had started to spend more time with her. She was a lonely little girl, which he could relate to. He grew protective of her, and he even taught her how to walk. However, his protecting her had caused him to get hurt in a robbery. He hit the back of his head on the corner of a desk and went into a coma for four years. When he awoke, his sister had changed. She was stronger, but she was still very anti-social. He worried for her. However, he had to worry for himself. He woke up to find out he may never be able to use his legs again. He didn't know what he was going to do about that, but he looked at the good side: he now longer had to walk around!
His sister was saent to the Ayakashikan a while back, and he wanted to go with her, but he couldn't since he had to do recovering therapy. He has some feeling in his legs now, but he can't move them that well. However, now, he is able to go to the ayakashikan and see his sister again, so he's okay.

Dante gained his mother's youkai genes of being a magical youkai. He has horns that can grow and even conduct electricity. He keeps a doll with him in his youkai form that helps his targets on his track with a sample of their blood. He's strong and can overpower many, but he doesn't really fight. He leaves that up to his SS Agent. In his youkai form, he can levitate himself, so he doesn't need the wheelchair.
