Ohayo!
Welcome to my somewhat Augustine Academy related story thread! I'll be posting sort of I guess "side stories" about Shiro, Sebastion, and Blood (Nikolas) mainly. And my others may get a short every now and again.

Some backgrund on these stories (and the characters):

+These are characters and work in progress storylines I plan to be my debuting manga one day.
+The title of this manga/collection of stories is "Garden Guardian".
+The story focuses on Shiro and Sebastion most of the time.
+If you see mention of a "Kyomu", it is not the culinary teacher centaur Kyomu Dessin.
+You can assume that these stories all take place before any of them come to Augustine, just to give a timeline.
+Here are links to the appearing characters' Augustine profiles (which is close to their actual profiles): Shirohanna, Sebastion, Suzuki, Blood (Nikolas)

I would greatly appreciate critique on these shorts as I am trying to make a manga and I do lack an editorial staff of any kind. Thank you!

First up, my first completed story of "Garden Guardian". This was written around Oct/Nov of 2012, one year after "Shirohanna" came into existance.

_____I am in love with a demon. Not a demon like the ones God sent to Hell, but a demon none the less.

_____His name was Shirohanna, which meant "white flower" in a language I can't remember. I found that ironic. A demon having such a pure name. I also found it odd that his hair was as white as his name and his cat tail and ears were the exact opposite.

_____He appeared on my balcony one day while I was reading. I don't know how long he had been sitting on the railing before I noticed him. He didn't say anything that day, just watched me with his off-emerald green eyes. When I stood from my chair, he jumped from the balcony. I rushed out the curtained double-doors to the rail of the balcony, and just barely caught a glimpse of his jet black tail disappear among the branches.

_____In the few days that felt like eternity, I sat in my chair by the balcony doors and waited for him to return.

_____I was reading, once again, when I heard the soft thud of weight landing on the railing. A normal person might have missed it or even disregarded it if they had heard it. I lowered my book slowly and peered through the sheer curtains to see his silhouette crouched against the setting sun. His ears were back, tail down, and hair floating in front of his face as the wind softly blew against him. I didn't move this time, fearing that he would escape again. I could feel his eyes studying me, debating whether I was a threat or not.

_____He cautiously lowered one bare foot to the floor before sliding off the railing to stand up straight. He seemed to glide across the balcony as he walked gracefully from the edge to the doors, where I was waiting beyond. The longer I watched him, the more cat-like and inhuman he appeared.

_____He came to stand in front of me and spoke only three words.

_____"Come with me."
