Stopping mid run, Lacrimosa found herself looking around almost cluelessly. There had been something... Something she couldn't put her finger on. It had been like a voice, loud and echoing but with no discernible words? It had nagged at the back of her mind like it was trying to call her some where?

That was a new sensation for her and it wasn't really a pleasant one either. Not with the sense of wrong and off that came with it. It had been enough to make the hair on the back of her neck stand on end. It wasn't a pleasant feeling at all and she took a step back out in reaction.

The voice had vanished as quick as it had come but in it's wake left a feeling she liked just as less. Dread. It wasn't all that strong, just a lingering feeling, but that was more then enough to ruin the rest of the evening.

Finding herself in the clear, Lacrimosa vanished and Melody took her place, beginning the walk home. It gave her time to try and piece everything together, to maybe figure out some sort of answer to what in the hell had gone on.

By the time she'd reached the front door there she was just as confused and worried as she had been, no answer having come up in all her mental going overs of the brief situation that had come up. And she was so distracted she almost forgot to reply to the greeting her father had given her as she walked inside.

"Are you okay?" he'd asked in Chinese at the lost look on her face. It was something they did sometimes, talking in their native tongues. He liked to keep her used to the languages they'd taught her from birth.

"Mm, yes, papa. Just lost in thought." A brilliant smile so as not to worry him. He'd been the most aware of a change in her since her return from college and she feared he might soon catch on she was leading a double life.

Maybe she should be looking into an apartment as well, moving from home. But could she handle such a change as a job and being on her own? It was different then going to college and living in dorms, especially when her parents paid for everything. Maybe she should talk to them about that...

"I'm going to go take a bath then probably practice some." Walking over to her father, who still looked a little worried, she kissed his cheek then moved for the stairs to head up to her room. The moment her back had been turned to her dad the world had been tuned back out, missing his response to her.

It was a shame she didn't have any other senshi on hand to talk about this with... She was going to have to be more careful on patrols from now on. Just to be safe.
