The evening air was barely noticeable by the woman with the lightbulbs shining her way through the alleys. A chipper mood was what Carnotite was caught in that day, considering her earlier delightful interactions. A smile on her lips and a light hum from her throat, aimless and pleased in her wanderings, she'd almost considered taking the night off from her usual energy draining and starseed gathering. Just enjoy the night, maybe do some shopping...
Not that her plans had quite worked out. A few men had tried to approach her--attracted to her lights, or her looks, it didn't matter to her--and she'd gotten her quota for the night in term of energy. No starseed yet though. Heeled boots crunching over the broken pavement, she gave a soft, content sigh as she looked out from the alley to the main street. Perhaps someone would follow her into the darkness? It wasn't late enough for shops to be closed up. People still wandered about. None looked into her direction though, even as she let her lights shine freely.
A spider waiting in her web, she waited. Her good mood granted her quite the measure of patience at least.
