Anyone want to play some 1v1s? An alternative to playing For Glory without getting salty or fighting annoying/rude people.
Rules would be same as For Glory rules except we can fight on tournament legal stages.
I'm not the best player, but I know what I'm doing somewhat.
My main is Villager, but I play DK, Ganondorf and I have fun playing a bunch of others as well.

I would be perfectally fine with this...
My mains are.. Dun... Dun.... Yoshi. However I can play almost all of the characters {Except Ryu... How do people main him.. How?!} That being said My main changes frequently. I have a good understanding of the game and know all of its mechanics Yay me. I will most of the time get at least one kill. Though I do pot damage. You've been warned.

Oh, wow and can you play them all decently? Some characters I just can't play at all. There's a few characters I want to get better with so this could be some nice training for those. Pot damage? What? Maybe we can try playing sometime in the next few days or so? I guess whenever you're free and want to.

Yep, then again I've been playing smash since it first came out. sweatdrop Pod Damage= Do little bit of damage then flee. Then do more damage. Basically I do small amounts of damage but then once you are at kill percent you are dead... Sure I wouldnt mind. Would have to be Thursday or Friday though

I usually stuck with one and I was kinda the same in Splatoon sticking to the same weapon. Ah, I see. Well, that's the smart way to play. I'm pretty aggressive and always move forward which is a bad habit of mine (same in Splatoon), but getting punished for your bad habits is a good way to learn to not do them. And alright, that's fine.

Not really xD There is a good chance you will go running into a Smash attack or get spiked. Best way is just to control one area and attack anyone who comes near you. But yeah being punished is a good way to learn not to do them, but if you do them every once in a while its a good way to make your opponent not know what to expect.

I never knew the competitive side of Smash until a few years ago. I always played it casually with items and stuff. Hmm? Why would you run into a smash attack or get spiked if you're playing safe? Yeah, true.

Villager main here, too heart
I'm down for playing sm4sh 1v1's, though I always have to be in the right mood to actually be down for playing smash; it's weird.

Villager dittos are a lot of fun, but you don't see too many Villagers in For Glory. I love messing around with pocketed trees.
