Sometimes, when Newgrange needed some time alone, he wandered through the forests on the outskirts of Destiny City. It wasn't like it was a hot spot for powered activity or youma conflict, but sometimes after a long day or a rough patrol it was nice to just get out and get some fresh air.

It was different, going out as Arias and going out as Newgrange. It felt like he was so much more alive as Newgrange. Like he had so much more potential.

Like being on Earth meant so much more.

…He just wished he knew what to do with it.

He sighed heavily as he walked; he was still debating what he should be doing to try and befriend his ancestor. Lost in such thought he didn't think much of the little noise he heard. It was small, so he figured it had to be some forest animal or something—and then, he felt it.

One step, he felt nothing, and the next, an energy signature, right on top of him.

It was so surprising that he almost didn't even know how to respond; he let out a semi-started, "Hello?" as he glanced around, trying to find life in the darkness. The moonlight was obscured enough that he could barely see anything, now; all he could do was listen.
