When they arrived back on Earth, Remarque debated asking if they could do Mirrorspace another night; his visit to Hyperborea had left him with a lot to think about. He didn't want to give her the impression that he was trying to ditch her though, so he figured he could suck it up for now and do his thinking later.
"I don't get the fancy ability to just head home whenever I want," he began when they landed; he had started walking towards a mirror he knew was hidden in the area. "Unfortunately, I need a Mirror to get into Mirrorspace. Every now and then one I hide gets broken so," he shrugged. "I wind up spending a good chunk of cash just to make sure I can get around the city safely."
A glint in the moonlight told him his mirror was in tact and he lead her to it; he didn't think he needed to ask her not to come back and break it or share to all her senshi friends that it was here.
Standing in front of the mirror, he held a hand out for her.
"…It can be a little disorienting when you first step through. Kinda feels like you're jumping in a tub of cold water, so you might want to hold your breath and brace for that. It doesn't hurt, but if it's your first time it can be a bit surprising. You ready?" he asked, and genuinely seemed to be waiting for her to prepare herself.Aurelius Ambrosius Let me know if this works! <3

Once they got back to Earth Hyperborea just followed Remarque's lead, she was excited to see this mirror space.
"So can you go and come through any mirror you want or does it need to be specific mirrors?"She asked curious when they started towards the hidden away mirror. "And is there a limit on how close the mirror needs to be for you to come through it?" She wondered as she thought about some of the mirrors back in Hyperborea. Could Remarque have gotten there on his own if he had known about them, that would seem like a solution to their space problem.
Hyperborea understood the need for discretion and even without him asking she wouldn't tell anyone about Remarque's mirrors.
"Yup." She took the offered hand and braced herself for the journey through the mirror. He wasn't kidding, stepping through the mirror felt like she dived into a pool in winter. There wasn't any pain but she felt a chill hit her body. This place was unsettling, she wondered if the Dark Mirror Senshi truly felt comfort and solace here the same way she did at her wonder, it was hard for her to grasp the idea but then again she did not have chaos within her so maybe that made the difference. Even still she was fascinated to see this different place.
A question hit her, one she wasn't sure she wanted to ask both from fear she might offend the prince and that she might get an answer she didn't want to hear. Yet curiosity won out, "So... um... do you guys have anything like youma here?" She asked nervously.

"Nearly any mirror," Remarque answered, not feeling the need to go into too much detail. "As long as it's big enough to fit through. "I have not found a distance I cannot comfortably travel, however it seems we are limited to Earth. Once, we managed to use a mirror in space, however that ability seems to be lost."
Which was unfortunate, considering just how badly they'd needed it.
He did not seem to mind the cold, shifting feel of Mirrorspace, but neither did he seem to adore the location. It was simply a place to him—a place to be explored. A place to learn. A place to tame.
Her final question did not alarm him. "We do not have anything so vile as youma. I hate them," he said, nose wrinkling at the mere thought. "We do, however, have Mirrorwraiths here. But they won't bother you. Not while I'm around." He shrugged. "There have been very few incidents where I've even seen any, outside of a mishap here or there. Once," he drew the word out, "I found a nest of them. But that was my own fault, and is a very long story."

"Thats a shame, I wonder why that power disappeared." She mused out loud. "Are your other members limited on how often they can travel to Mirrorspace in the same way non-royal order members are limited on how often we can travel to our wonders or worlds."
Hyperborea felt relieved, if they had nests then they weren't corrupted humans."Me too. And I despise the Negaverse all the more for turning innocents into them" She said with a clear hatred dripping from her words. "I'm glad your court has higher ethics than to use such evil creatures. So do these wraiths serve your court or are they more just beings that happen to exist in Mirrorspace?" She asked curious about the nature of mirrorwraiths.
"Do you have a palace or anything in here?" She asked looking around.

"No, no palace. There is a throne room, but," he shrugged. "It's not really used. We have no need for a single ruler. Mirrorspace has many secrets, but that isn't such a bad thing. There are things we have not yet discovered. Ideally we'll find the answers we need—the powers we need—to find our way off this planet. There are some limits as to who can come and go—and who's strong enough to get around here. Basic senshi can't even access this place. Supers and Eternals can, and can bring people with him. But it can be exhausting after a bit. I've got a lot more power to throw around, so it doesn't wear on me that much. But there's no limit as to how often you can come and go. Most people choose not to linger here in Mirrorspace."
He planted his hands on his hips, sighed, and looked around.
"The wraiths serve us, though we have to persuade them to. When they don't have someone overseeing them, they can cause a lot of havoc. A while ago, they were running loose. Wouldn't listen to us. We had to do something about it but it seems like they've calmed down now. They're senseless. All about gathering energy. If they don't have someone overseeing them they just gather and hoard. No idea why, it just seems like it's their nature. But when there's a senshi overseeing, we control how much they gather, and are able to store it for our own purposes. Not anything nefarious, mind you. Gathering energy is an unfortunate requirement of our Court. We don't do it to hurt people, but we need the energy to exist and further our goals. And with the Negaverse as it is…Some sacrifices have had to be made. People don't understand. But we're not bad. Or."
He frowned. "Most of us aren't."

She nodded along to his explanations. "So what would you recommend we see then that you have found, are there any landmarks or stuff in here?" She asked unsure of what a realm like this could hold.
She found it interesting that not only could supers and eternals come and go as they pleased but that most people didn't linger here, which meant it wasn't a safe haven for them or at least not in the sense that it provided any sort of comfort.
"That sounds....hard. I do wonder though what are those things gathering energy for if they do it on their own accord." She mused out loud, she also wondered why the Negaverse gathered energy, what was the purpose. Did it have to do with the fact that they were powered by Chaos magic and not a planet or wonder?
"Hey um can I ask you something, and I hope this doesn't sound rude or impertinent. But why don't you purify? I mean is it really that you're worried the Moon Queen will come back and try to control you? As I understand it each senshi is independent, you could just make your court again as order couldn't you? I've meet some order royals and they seem really powerful so I doubt you'd really be weaker plus it would solve your space issue." She asked a bit timid hoping she wouldn't offend the prince but she felt like she needed to ask especially after the conversation he had had with Theseus.

Remarque reached up to scratch at his chin as he pondered her question; finally he simply shrugged. "It's not rude. It's a fair question. Truth be told, there are a lot of reasons. Part of which is stubbornness. I'm dedicated to my Court. Not the ideals Ares set in place, but the ones we made for ourselves. See, the thing about everyone else's homeworld is that there's no life. You can't even try to live there now. It's just barren. If something happened to Earth, there isn't a backup. Things seem so…laid out for you guys. You had a past life, and now you're just doomed to repeat the same mistakes. No offense," he insisted, and he didn't seem like he was trying to pick a fight.
"But the Dark Mirror appeared out of nowhere. It's something entirely new, and it's given us an entirely new realm to explore. It's a new chance to achieve old goals, so to speak. And I'm not going to waste it. And then there are the other things. Alliances. The civilian life I worked so hard to develop. People I can't give up. I truly believe that one day, the White Moon Queen will return. And I think she'll try to use you to fulfill her own selfish gain. The thing is…everyone is stuck in some cycle of rebirth. You've got your starseed, you live your life, you die, you get recycled and do it all over again."
At least, said his sources, but there wasn't really any way for him to verify. It's not like Dark Mirror Senshi got invited to the Cauldron for Q&A.
"Which means…you're likely to make the same mistakes you did last time, unless you can learn from them. But I don't think she can. Royalty, you know? It goes to their head."
He didn't say his rank hadn't gone to his, but he was arrogant even before he'd become Prince Remarque.
"So it's possible she'll come back and start another war. Or make this one worse. I don't know, but I don't trust her. I'd rather follow his path and see where it takes me. Besides," he shrugged and crossed his arms over his chest.
"I've gotten rather used to taking shortcuts through mirrors."

"I guess that's fair but you are wrong about one thing, the homeworlds and the wonders aren't completely barren. Its subtle but the worlds are slowly coming back to life. Each time I go back to Hyperborea I can tell it's a bit more alive, the grass looks a bit greener." To be honest she wasn't entirely sure she wasn't just seeing what she wanted to see, she hadn't been around long enough to be sure. But deep down she felt that it was true.
"I do hope you'll at least keep purification in mind as a possibility. After all you guys wouldn't follow Ares blindly if she suddenly returned right, its the same for most of Order with the Moon Queen. I know that personally I have no intention of following a bad queen, if the Moon Queen did return and needlessly escalate the war then she would be as much my enemy as Metalia." She said with confidence. She wasn't bound by a past life and she owed allegiance to no queen, just her princess and the Code.

Remarque shrugged. "Good luck, I've heard grass is as good as it gets. I'd love to be surprised though, but it seems like the recovery stops with the plants. "I'm not so worried about the choices you guys will make when the Moon Queen comes back. I'm more worried about the choices she'll make. No one seems to know anything about her, except that at the end of the day, some huge war's been going on for a thousand years because of her. And Metallia's been around for that long, and the Negaverse seems worried about the Moon Queen. So if Metallia, miss big bad of the Negaverse has a reason to fear this lady…"
His voice trailed off and he shrugged again. "Seems like it would be unwise to just brush her off and consider her a non-issue. We don't know what powers she has. What if she comes into the picture and is worse than Metallia?"

Hyperborea pouted a bit, to her the plants seemed like a big deal but she supposed to a Royal like Remarque who had been around a long time and probably seen a lot of amazing stuff it didn't seem as impressive.
"I guess that is fair but in that case I don't think anyone would be safe if she is truly that powerful. Probably the only person who could stop her is my princess Cosmos." At least based on what she had heard about the princess of the stars, for all she knew this moon queen could be even more powerful.

Remarque tilted his head just slightly and looked down at the Knight. "Your princess?" he prompted. The White Moon did not often disclose information on their princesses, but it was more because he didn't ever find the right opportunities to ask.
This seemed like a good opportunity.
"What makes you think Cosmos would be strong enough to stop her?" he asked, inquisitive but not hostile. He added, a breath later, "I admit, I've only met a few princesses. Most Knights seem to be left without one. But you've met yours? …Is she stronger than the others? Because," he shrugged. "I'm pretty sure I could take on most of the princesses I've met without too much struggle. No offense," he insisted, shrugging that off as well. "Just seems like we're pretty evenly matched here on Earth."
He just had the benefit of size and muscle, and his experience with boxing meant he sure as hell wasn't afraid to throw around his fists.
He was also very confident himself, and undeniably arrogant when it came to his faith in his own abilities.

Hyperborea blushed and kinda shrunk back. "I haven't actually meet her myself." It was a sore spot, the squire wanted so badly to meet her princess to speak with, maybe even be friends with her but she had never seen or heard from her. She felt there must be a reason the princess never showed up or spoke to her but it still kind of hurt when she knew other knights had had a chance to meet her, had even been saved by her.
"But I've spoken to people who have, I've been told she is probably the most power person in the universe. Plus she guards the Cauldron so she must be pretty powerful, I mean I doubt just anybody would be trusted to watch over something as important as the Galaxy Cauldron." She reasoned.
"I mean I'm sure you're strong, all the royals are. But it just feels like Cosmos is special somehow. I don't know maybe its cause I'm one of her knights and I'm biased but still."

Remarque narrowly avoided snorting in response to Cosmos being the most powerful person in the universe, but he managed to keep a straight face and stay respectful. He didn't like to think that anyone could be stronger than him—and often fancied himself incredibly powerful. No one had beaten him yet, so that wasn't really helping his ego.
But if she guarded the Cauldron then she must have been someone important, and he supposed he could forgive the claim that she was stronger, but he would disagree. She only had access to more power than he did. But he wanted nothing to do with the Cauldron; he didn't care about the past, or the cycle of death and recycling souls.
Remarque wanted to pave the way for the future. You couldn’t do that if you were trapped in a job.
Instead, he just cracked a smile and laughed. "She must be impressive. At least your princess is alive, though, right? If you haven't seen her, at least you know she's out there. It's more than most Knights can say. Pity, though. That you should have a Princess to follow and you don't even know who you are meant to serve. But if they say good things about yours, at least you don't have to worry. I do worry for the Knights whose princesses haven't even bothered to come looking for them, though. The Princesses who aren't around to protect anything and just expect them to do all the work." He sighed. "Can't be easy for those Knights."
But at least it was better than the Negaverse.

"That's true, I wonder where the other princesses are like princess Mars or princess Earth. Did something happen to them or have they just not been reborn yet? I would think if they were around then they would have a bigger role in the war, if they were royals after all. Really I envy Polaris knights alot, they have an active princess here in Destiny City that they can meet and speak to. Even Earth knights have Camelot they can look to for leadership." She mused a bit depressed about the whole situation.
"I suppose in that same vain, your court is lucky to have you and Leto to look to." She said, even if they were tainted by chaos she couldn't help but be impressed by the royals.

Remarque watched her with a curious eye, but finally just shrugged. He didn't know anything about the other princesses, and if he didn't know better, he might have just written them off as some myth. Some legend to give the Knights something to aspire to.
But he had met a few of the other senshi royals and figured that where there was one, there could be more. He could only hope they wouldn't show up to screw up the Dark Mirror Court.
"I suppose. We didn't exactly get left with much direction. Ares was the one who brought the Court to Destiny City, but she's up and disappeared. Not really sure what she wanted us to do, but I guess I like it more that way." He shrugged again. "I'm not really the 'taking orders' kinda guy, myself, so it works best for me that she stays gone. Never really clicked with her. She was pretty distant. Never really figured her out."
