■ PROTECTIVE Emmerich is extremely protective of the other members of his herd, especially the younger ones. He sees the younger centaurs as his own children, in a way, and acts as a father to all of them.
■ PATIENT Emmerich is a patient soul with a lot of room to forgive if one is deserving of forgiveness. This patience comes in handy when watching over the children of the herd, as well as on the battlefield. He will take his time in any task he is given.
■ STUBBORN Emmerich is extremely stubborn and will never give up without a fight. This trait helps and hurts him in a battle, giving him the will to go on, even when the chance of winning is slim, while also driving him forward when there is no point in doing so other than to end up hurt at the end of it all. Regardless, he doesn't like to submit into retreating, preferring to lose with honor than flee without it.
■ DEPENDABLE Emmerich is as trustworthy as they come. He can be trusted with just about anything, whether it be secrets or tasks. Other centaurs find it easy to talk to him and tell him their troubles, mostly because he doesn't have much to say in response most of the time. When he does speak, however, he tries to give them the best advice he can.

- EARLY LIFE Emmerich lived a normal childhood as a centaur. He was the eldest son of two noble centaurs of the herd. His father was a warrior, while his mother tended to stay at the camp and care for the young ones. As the eldest, he dove straight into the life of a future warrior. He began his training as soon as he could walk on his own, moving from stealth tactics to weapon training until he was fully trained.
ADULTHOOD Growing into adulthood, Emmerich found himself as a young warrior for the herd. He had grown from a short, stumpy little foal into a tall, muscular centaur. Still, he maintained his mother's face, with gentle, soulful eyes that could see through almost anyone. His growth aided him in his work as a warrior, making him a bit of a tougher guard to get through when enemy herds tried to attack. That didn't help him the one day it counted though. On a patrol one afternoon, Emmerich and his father were attacked by a rogue centaur. They fought, but the rogue struck Emmerich's father and got away, severely injuring him. After he managed to drag his father back to camp, he brought him to the herd healers, but they couldn't do anything for him. Emmerich's father passed away, leaving his son with the burning desire to be the absolute best warrior for his herd, and to protect everyone in it, even if it meant giving up his own life. A few months later, his mother passed as well, leaving Emmerich to defend his herd without the support of his family.
