With the changing in the seasons came the change in the flora that would remain present in their wake. While the chill fended off quite a few, even stripping many deciduous members of their foliage, there was still plenty of beauty to behold in the world of plants. Vi was no stranger to taking hikes, or strolls through parks to enjoy the wonders of the new species that revealed themselves in their preferred season. And today was no different!
School having ended just half an hour prior, the high schooler didn't return home straight away, instead taking a detour to explore one of the nearby parks that were on his normal route. There were already younger children there at play with one another, squealing and racing about, a few groups of his schoolmates even clustered and partaking in games or simply one anothers company. Pocketing his hands into the deer hoodie he sported, he looked on enviously of the connections that were dotted all around the place. Friends seemed nice to have... but it seemed that it wasn't in the cards for him to have any of his own. Still in high school, nearing the middle years of it, and not a single one to note.
But it was a feeling he tried to keep tucked and buried away, lest it consume him anymore. Following one of the sidewalks laid out in the thriving park, he paused when his silver eyes caught glimpse of colour that naturally drew his attention. Vivid golds, crimsons, and velvet reds dyed the mums that were lined along the side of the path he followed. So full, and strong they looked, heads standing tall, all crowded next to one another. Stepping beside them, he crouched down for a closer look, soft smile broadening, as he leaned in to give a gentle sniff. How lovely~

From the discussions heard among his classmates Anxo was able to determine just how many of them absolutely abhorred the cold. To them, the world became ugly and unbearable to see as all the color was drained from the trees and the flowers around campus. They only saw the withered results, not what bloomed in the winter. And now he was on a mission to prove to them just how bright and wonderful winter could be.
After classes were completed that day Anxo headed towards the park with his camera to capture the wonder of winter. Of course the best subjects were people! They were so bright and wonderful against the rather sullen and damp environment. The colors of their coats and the scarves wrapped round their throats, the tops of their hats and the wrappings of their boots provided just so much color to their world. And sure, they weren't the exact focus that he wanted to capture, it was still worth it!
Soon enough he arrived to the park as he desired to and pulled out his camera once again to snap pictures of the flowers that were so carefully cared for. His gentle focused gaze remained glued to the flowers that before he realized it, he managed to bump into someone who had also stopped to admire the flowers and near literally smell the roses.
"Ah, excuse me!" Pulling his face from his camera he took a good look at the person he bumped into, sheepishly reaching out to put his hand on the other's shoulder to stabilize them.
"I was too obsessed with getting a good picture... Are you alright?"

Kapoodles here I go trying to find my muse again. I am garbage, sorry again. ;s
So engrossed with the flowers, he too wasn't all that aware in his daydreaming state of how close someone really was to him. It wasn't until he felt the leg brush against him, his arms reaching out to brace himself in preparation, that he realized he could very well be in the way. Looking up to the body of the hand that had reached down to aid in his balance, Vi gave a light smile, and apologetic look of his own, "Oh it's ok. No harm done." he easily replied, without any qualms.
Standing up, he dusted off his shorts, and smoothed down his hoodie, "I guess I was kinda in the way, huh?" looking along the walkway, it wasn't that wide, for him to go leisurely crouching down when ever he pleased. But hey... getting a good picture? Curiously, his pale gaze shifted to the camera that was in the other mans possession, tipping his head to get a better look at it, "What are you taking pictures of?"

Even though the young man spoke softly to him, stating that everything was alright, Anxo still couldn't help but feel more apologetic. When would such carelessness stop plaguing him! Obviously, not now.
"Oh no no no, you weren't in the way! It was me who was staring through the lens and not paying attention to anyone else around me. You'd think I'd be a bit more aware of what was going on, but that's certainly not the case now, is it?"
Anxo could keep beating himself up over it, or he could beam and show the other just what he was working on. With a sheepish smile he moved to stand right next to the other, going into the view mode of his camera to show off the pictures he'd taken.
"Well, I got sick and tired of my classmates complaining about the winter, so I decided to go and find my own beauty in it to shut them up. I'm a Scenery Designer at Destiny U, so... It's also helping me figure out my next set."

The assurance that Vi was lacking in blame on the matter only managed to make the teen smile all the more, a faint giggle keeping trapped under his throat. "Ok it can be both of our faults then, how about that?" a playful roll back back on his heels, and small lean forward was made as well. Head righting as the stranger came up to his side, he was more than thrilled to see what sort of shots had been captured.
Lips puckering into the proper form for a soft 'oooh' to slip from them, Vi leaned in closer to really see the small details of the gathered shots, interests indeed piqued, "Wow you got all these yourself?" he somewhat echoed, taking a glimpse up from time to time when he realized where a few of the pictures came from around here. "When you're getting amazing shots like these, it makes sense to get caught up in the zone." after all, he himself would get lost a lot of times with his own sketches and drawings, losing track of time!
There was a clear widening of those silver coated eyes, tinted with awe from the title deemed by the older boy, "Scenery Designer? So you paint too then?" his voice held maybe a bit more eagerness to it that complimented his attentive gaze.

"Sounds great to me! Both to blame, both to forgive! Makes it absolutely perfect, if I must say!" Anxo was rather happily taken aback by the young one's calm and collected demeanor. It was so much more pleasant when an accident was taken for what ti was, rather than people getting upset about it. This was what he loved, these kinds of interactions!
"Yes, I did! And thank you! I did try, but really, I can't take all the credit! A Cameraman can only be as good as his focused subjects! I'd have to praise the world in order to accept such compliments correctly... That might take alot of time though!" His hands were near shaking with excitement as he tried not to flip too quickly through all of his photos. There were winter blooms and people on the frozen lake. A few cozy little squirrels in their trees and a dog or two in a sweater. They all seemed to just emit warmth despite the icy surroundings.
"I do paint! And I paint often. Mainly skies and scenery, but I enjoy painting people too. I just don't have as many willing subjects who would sit there for a long time while I sketch something out. Do you enjoy painting too?"

It was quite fascinating to hear how humble this fellow artist was, giving all that credit to the subjects who had allowed him the time to position and snap a shot of them. But it made Vi beam all the more, shaking his head, causing the long tendrils on one side to sway gently. Raising a finger in a sort of teasing wag, he tutted softly as well, "But you knew just how to take the shots at just the right time and just the right angle. I'd say that's just as important!" after all he didn't want the guy to sell himself short with these amazing photos!
All this photography talk had him wondering if he could dabble in it sometime... but cameras were expensive. But there were those cheap little throw away ones... maybe he could get one of those!
Eyes practically sparkling at this point with the more revealed from his new companion, Vi had to stuff his own hands in his hoodies pockets to contain his own excitement, "That's so cool! People too? wow." this guy was basically everything he wanted to be as an artist! Shoulders raising up a little, he gave a slow nod, that was sort of tilted, "When I get the chance to, I love painting! I mostly draw, though." Perking up suddenly, he gazed eagerly up at Anxo, "Do you have any pictures of your paintings, maybe?" his eyes flickered from face to camera hopefully.

This kid certainly had a way in making Anxo feel a bit embarrassed about his work. He had a point though! It was just as important for the photographer to know what they were doing as it was for the Models to know how to pose. A finger came up to sheepishly scratch the tip of his nose in response to all the compliments.
"Pictures of my paintings... Yeah, a few! But it's mostly scenery since we take the paintings sometimes and blow them up with technology, and then print that out so that we can use it for backgrounds for the shows.. It's actually kinda really terrifying when they do since with it's so highly enlarged, and then enhance with high resolution, you get to see every single paint stroke and mistake on there. Luckily most show attendees sit far enough away where they don't actually see all those details."
Anxo reached over to gently pull the young lad to stand right next to him, then pressed a few buttons on the camera to browse through the pictures. He did say he had a few, but really, it could have been hundreds of works he'd done over the course of his 3 years at DCU. He was a hoarder of images, that's for sure!
It was a beautiful picture... And a memory he wouldn't forget.
But it was enough for now as he was waved down and way by another student who wanted his attention.
"Heh... Thanks for the memories, my new friend! But off I must go. I do hope you enjoy the rest of your time here!" With a quick wave, he was off to take more pictures for the rest of the school.
