Hobbies:
~ Swimming She loves the water and is on the school swim team. If left alone in a pool she can be there for hours at a time. She first go her love of swimming when her mother brought her and her sister to the closest public swimming pool when she was little.

~ Sketching Mostly just chibi foxes but she branches out now and then for landscapes or chibi people. She started sketching in the first grade and while she still isn't very good at it she enjoys to doodle on pages when bored.

~Sleight of hand Yes she does practice stage magic, particularly making things 'disappear' or 'reappear' as they happen to be her favorite types of magic. She once saw a magician on the television when she was little and got hooked into it. She started to practice stage magic when she was ten years old after she found a book how to to it.

Virtues:
~ Optimistic It takes a lot to bring her down as she is the type who thinks the cup is half full. To her just because a situation looks bad doesn't mean it is completely hopeless, like if she gets a horrible test score she doesn't let it get her down, just studies harder for next time. Another example of this is if she gets lost some where, Rachel will just think of it as a time to explore. Her optimistic attitude shows in the way she speaks as well, with her regularly trying to cheer people up.

Sometimes though people find her optimistic attitude annoying so when she is either told or picks up they're problem she will try to tone it down. By toning it down I mean she wont say as much around that person in situations that she normally would, or sometimes she even attempts to be neutral instead.
That was hard but I'm glad you won, I knew- er was rooting for you.

~ Friendly She tries to be nice to everyone she meets as she has a motto of 'Today's enemies and strangers could be tomorrows friends and lovers'. She got when she was in third grade when she had been kind to the class bully and he decided he liked her as a friend. But just because she tried to be friendly does not mean she picks up friends left and right. While she easily picks of friendly acquaintances, she only really has a small number of close friends that she knows can put up with her flaws.

~ Good Listener For as long as she remembers she has had an instinct that allows her to find people who need to talk. This has helped her to get to the point where she is willing to sit down, listen and talk. It doesn't bother her when people need to rant or when they just need some one to actually listen to them and is happy to be the person they are willing to open up too.

When Rachel needs to talk she finds it hard to open up to just anyone. There are only two people she is willing to really open up too, her best friend Jason and her favorite plushie, Sly.

Flaws:
~ Sarcastic She picked it up when she was in the third grade after she spent time with her new friend Jason, it usually only shows up when she is feeling angry, sad or overly tired or a combination of the three. It can slip into her words unconsciously so she has to keep a tight reign on her tone when she gets that way as she knows very well that it can make others mad. Some times she can't hold it back though and she gets quite snarky.

~ Stubborn She has always been that way for as long as she can remember and she doesn't see it as a flaw. Her family would be the first to tell you that if she doesn't want to do it then you can't make her and if she want's to do it then you can't stop her. It's hard for her to take no for an answer and has been known to try and get a yes from many different angles.

~ Elusive As friendly as she is, Rachel tends to steer away from some subjects as quickly as she can with out being obvious. Secrets are held jealously close and are rarely shared with anyone with out a fight and a good reason. For as long as her parents could remember she has avoided any mention of girly things like dresses, dolls, pink etc. other then a few times she mentioned that she refuses to be a girly girl. Ask her about why she wears masculine clothes and she will just claim they are comfortable, ask her why she hates the color pink and she will just claim it is ugly.

The truth is she doesn't even know the answers to the questions so she avoids them like the plague. There have been a few times where she has been blatantly elusive on some subjects and it has harmed her friendships. She doesn't know why she is secretive, only knowing that secrets are fundamental for some reason.


PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Round gray eyes

Hair: She has long red hair that falls to her lower back and she usually keeps it down

Face: Heart shaped face, she had tan skin from being in the sun

Clothes: She prefers masculine looking clothes. Dark colored jeans, baggy t-shirts that are usually in dark colors and tennis shoes that are black with a red stripe. There are times where she doesn't mind dressing in feminine clothes as well, just that she prefers the more comfortable masculine clothes.
